There weren't any other trainers in the area, mind you there wasn't much of anything in the area. He couldn't spot any people, or places where he and his companions might rest. It didn't matter much, Ryhorn was content to simply lumber along step after step, the plates of bone grating and clinking as he did. He'd yet to become angry and charge anything, which was good given that West sat up atop him. Deciding it best to find something to do, West reached to his belt and grabbed one of the many red/white balls there. A simple motion tossed it up in front of him, and in a flash of light there was suddenly another creature atop Ryhorn.
"Alright!! It's time to play cards!!!" West cheered happily, as he fanned out a deck of playing cards face down. Upon hearin no response, he looked up to see that Abra was simply sitting there, sleeping. A brief moment of twitching went by West, before he reached out to smack the sleeping pokemon. His hand caught nothing but air however, for the moment he'd hit the thing Abra had vanished.
West looked back and forth, confused, before spotting the still-sleeping Abra in the grass. "Hey!!!You!!!" Arms waved high in the air as his legs kicked on Ryhorn's back, as West tried to wake the sleeping pokemon.
Meanwhile, Ryhorn (Who was quite discontent by this time.) sighed heavily, his body sulking for a moment before he caught sight of Abra. Seeing another creature, in addition to West's little tantrum, threw Ryhorn into a single-minded fit of rage. Turning his front horn to face Abra, his heavy feet dug into the earth as he charged.
Needless to say, West squealed like a little girl and simply clutched the massive charging beast beneath him. His eyes snapped shut in fear, even as Ryhorn bellowed it's name in a throaty growl.

Groaning, West trudged over to his tent. Earlier, he'd had to spend a couple of hours dealing with Ryhorn. Even then, it had been quite difficult to calm the thing to the point where it could be safely stored away.
Needless to say, Abra had winked out just before Ryhorn made contact. All and all, the only one who came out injured was West.
"Oi, and cowboys they they have it tough." He whined, as he rubbed his sore thighs. stretching really didn't help with the aching that run throughout his jarred muscles.
Even so, West crawled into his tent, and then squirmed deeply into the warmth of his sleeping bag. It wasn't long before he was softly snoring, content to be camping out on the plains.
Sadly, the boy missed out on the plains nightlife. Had he been awake, he would've surely been awed by the place.

Never Seen Before "Kaiden, what took so long?" Mugiri asked irritatedly. "I was worried. Hand me the water, and take some food." THe food was almost burnt, but perfect enough that they only need a few seconds cooling. Mugiri pulled another sheet of cloth off, making a smaller cup using his saliva, then pouring water into it, gulping it. "Ah."
Kaiden shuddered, and gagged again. He quickly turned his vision to the succulent food cooking away. He grabbed at a few pieces, and started to blow on them, cooling them off with his breath. The aroma made him Salivate, and his stomach growl.

"Come on, Jigs-jig!" Amy shouted encouragement to the small, round, pink pudge that ran to and fro between two large sticks stuck into the ground. The jigglypuff, affectionately named Jigs-jig by it's trainer, heaved and panted it's little, "Jiggly-jiggly-jiggly-puff-puff" As it's stubbled little legs scurried it in it's morning exercises. The remains of a camp site lay half packed around the girl, a young woman actually of sixteen years old, and her cute little companion.
Tanned under the sun Amy's flesh was a slight golden brown that made her dark black hair shine against the sun. Around her waist a belt of light brown leather with six small red and white spheres attatched to small hoop-hooks sewn into the belt at even intervals. Not just a girl and a jigglypuff then, a trainer by the way she had that poor little fat ball running as hard as it's little legs could carry it, and run it did!

Mouth open to shout yet another encouragement to her little jigglypuff Amy stopped with mout gaping. Something large was comeing closer. With the hopeful desire to increase her little pokemon arsenal, enforcing it with something large and powerful, Amy called her little jigglypuff to heel, who waddled over and lept into Amy's arms despite it's rather ungainly girth.
Faded blue jeans whisked against themselves as her black boots carried her through the waist high grass usual of this sort of area, the perfect place to find grass type pokemon in her opinion a feature her collection lacked. As she crested a nearby hill her heart sank considerablly, not a wild pokemon to capture then, some boy riding on the back of some great rock pokemon. The name escaped her at the momen, Rydon or something like that she figured.
Heart fallen by the dismissal of her desires to add to her collection Amy was on the verge of turning around and heading back to camp to finish Jigs-jig's training, but another thought came to her. That big thing looked tough, strong, and what was better training then beating up something like nine times your size?! Of course Jigs-jig wasn't likely to defeat that boulder with legs on it's own, but she was sure Candlelight would be more than sufficiant.
