Kurikins Sryne I think the temple died.... stare Yeah, it did. *sigh* I'm beginning to wonder if I ever should have made TSW a guild, seems like ever since we moved in here it's been nothing but trouble. @Angelina - I haven't decided yet, but the way things are going activity-wise right now, I'm seriously considering fast forwarding in the timeline a bit. I think that might give everyone a chance to get going again without totally restarting. Plus a lot of interesting plot options would become available if I did that. But, like I said, I haven't totally decided yet. Well fast fowarding would be good for me, actually. It let's me set things up just right. So I personally all for it. Activity is one problem we have in TSW. I think the other is a sense of purpose for the character. (Or is that just me?) Since if the player doesn't feel a sense of purpose they might not want to continue playing. I really don't see any of the characters with a sense of purpose or goal that they would want to accomplish. The good news is I've already decided on what to do with my character and I'll pm you that info, as to keep it secret from everyone else. ninja

Yeah, its hard to kind of advertise when RPs are in a Guild. Just hope people read that RP Directory, that Barton Sticky. *cough* Drawback: it costs actual, physical money. I suppose if you really want to spread the word, it would be helpful, but we don't expect you to use your won money to promote the guild. ...of which I have none. sweatdrop The directory looks nice, though. And I already know Pen, so that would make it even better. =) I'll look into getting TSW & HD on the list.

Ah, the pain of reality.
Harsh words, but I suppose we need the critiscm. I've been checking on the guild every day for a while, and behind the words "Temple of Darkness" I see Kurikins as the last post.. since August 08th. Frankly I'm a little frustrated, but I love TSW, and I want to keep it alive. Is it alright if I "reformat" my characters and make them less ambiguous? Also, (without any spoilers) what direction do you want TSW to go? I knwo you have an end in sight, but, for the most part, what have you envisioned for the present?

I haven't been here in forever, and I'm sorry. I just don't have enough free time...and now that school has started, I have even less. sweatdrop I'm not sure if I'll be able to continue RPing..

I apologize if perhaps I went slightly overboard...I was in a very bad mood yesterday. Yes, reformatting your characters would be fine. I encourage all members of TSW to do this if they wish it. smile You can PM me either with a new profile, or simply an updated version of your old one, and I will put it into the member's list thread in place of the old profile. As for the storyline, I'll put this in white text for anyone who doesn't want to read it. I've tried to be vague but some of you may still consider it spoiler material. It's hard to answer a question in a vague way. sweatdrop Though that is a very good question. Spoilers here: Well, first I'm going to wait for everyone to show back up again. If enough people do return I may simply just boot out the inactive folks and turn TSW into a much smaller, private RPG. After that's all settled and done with, the direction I'd like TSW to take is a more apocolyptic one. I intend on announcing through the Daily Dragon several large, catastrophic events that have occurred as a result of the portal. I am going to raise awareness of "death's gateway", try to incorporate some native Secothian myths about the First World into the plot, and generally would like players to all start moving in the portal's general direction, whether they be headed towards it for good or evil. Another idea of mine is that the damage to Secotha continues even after the Portal is shut, so that the plotline of this RPG can continue on past that point should we ever get to it. If I can (and if this RPG survives that long), I'd even like to start a few wars.@Lisirra--that's fine. If you don't have enough time to be here, I can understand that perfectly. I'll take you off the member's list and wish you good journeys. =) Although in the future I would appreciate it if you would be a little more forthcoming with this kind of information, instead of waiting so long to tell me you don't have time to RP.

GAH!!! scream ... cry Yes, I face the same problem. I check every day, ready to post, but no one else is posting so I am forced to wait. It's extremely frustrating, especially since I know that there are other members like you who are facing the same thing. That's why I hope restarting the groups will be a success...we can all make new threads and choose our partners based on their activity levels so we can all get some roleplaying done!

Well Kurikins we already discussed my situation. (Really liked the spoilers, it helped alot in my part.) I'm ready to go. I'm just waiting for someone to start a new thread. But if not then I will, if that's fine by you? Only reason I haven't was cause of our discussion.
If it's ok, I'll just go ahead and start a thread with just me, for now. I hope you don't mine me going around and causing havoc. Since that's what I'm basically going to do... twisted
Until my character discovers a spoiler. I also noticed that my character's profile isn't up. So... I just remake it and send it to you.
