Ok, better late than never:
When you go to an auction, discover that one of the prizes is the Lioness quartet in hardcover autographed (each one) by Tamora- and then proceed to blow your entire budget to win it.
(Even though you already owned part of the series)

I would so do that. I've spent a lot of my graduation and babysitting money on books much to my mom's horror. " She's like it's silly to buy so many books." I'm like. " I'll reread them mamma so it's not a waste for me." She doesn't understand anymore.
You're obsessed when you can't go for more than a week without checking in for the latest fanfics in the TP category.

I was reading a DBZ fic and suddenly wanted TP so I went and found 2 wonderful new stories.
You're obsessed when you've read Terrier a lot of times and carry it with you everywhere and make your dad buy you a hardback of the copy to sit on your bookshelf and look pretty next to the other Tortall books so you have the whole set on the bookshelf because you can't bear to out Terrier paperback version on the shelf.
Also when you're reading a new book and you see on page 98 the girl talks about rereading POTS and you start grinning and squealing in glee as well as nodding your head about how you do the same thin.

After making a copper rose at a welding workshop, you go to quench it, it smells like a smithy (you recognize this smell, of course), and your first thought is, "I wonder if I plant it in the ground, will it grow?"
