Phew .. I'm uhh .. older than everyone else here. wink
Anyway, I've been an LKH fan for about 4 years and I've read and re-read everything multiple times. Really you should see how tattered my copy of NiC is ..
I also read the MG series and enjoy those too. Frost is my favorite of Merry's men and I hope that she'll end up with him. I also really like Doyle but have a weird vibe from him - he's likely to be a better King than anyone else but I just like Frost. wink
I liked the first half of her Nightseer book and then it fell apart. I think that really should have been my first clue that the rest of her works would likely be similar. I don't mean to say that and start any arguments since I'm a huge fan and will read anything and everything LKH writes (including that Star Trek book ...).
I live in the Bay Area of California, a.k.a. "The Silly Valley" and it's a lot of fun here with good weather. I have turned on a couple people to the joy of LKH and two of my friends are working their way through all the books. I got my brother sucked in too so that was a major coup. wink
That's it for now .. I've posted a few things in other threads, thanks for having this guild!

Hello everyone! *waits for a response* It has been less than one day since I've had my fix (bought Incubus Dreams yesterday).
I'm relatively new to the series (although I've read them all up to Incubus Dreams), but I'm still hooked. Even after Narcissus in Chains. >.<
I'm a girl in my late teenaged years, and....that's about it. ^-^

Good Eve/Morn, everyone. ::smiles::
I'm Linwelos *Lin for short*. I've been reading the AB series for about a year and a half now. I however didn't begin at the beginning with it though. A friend of mine bought my first one for me, that being the Killing Dance. Talk about being floored after reading it. After that I was hooked. I'm working currently on getting all of the books in the series *I'm six, shy away from having all of them, save for the newest one about to come out soon I believe*
As far as a little about me, I am 24 years old and a registered nurse. Don't get much time for reading but when I do its well enjoyed. I have a hobby of html and collaging images, translating songs into elvish and things of that nature but that also isn't something I get a lot of time to do. I also do roleplays, and might try to get involved in some of the ones here, given I do have a leopard character I use in another sl *not on gaia, lol*
I look forward to getting to chat with some of you all and am thankful to have been allowed in.
Namarie *farewell*,
Lin.

Hi. I'm StarAngel. I have only been reading Anita Blake novels for a few weeks but I am highly addicted. I was walking through my library to check out the books I needed when I saw one of her books and was drawn to it. I checked it out and started reading it and now I'm hooked. *smiles cutely* Now lets see...about me...I'm 19 and I and I just finished my first year of university at the University of Saskatchewan in well, Saskatchewan Canada. Saskatoon to be exact. I'm back home for the summer living with my parents, booo, but that's life. If you want to know anything else about me just ask.

Im PC or Pisce & im a 19yr old from IL. From springfield now but soon to be edwardsville next summer.
I have been a Laurell K Hamilton fan for over 2.5 years now. Ive read all the Merry series that is out so far & all the Anita Blake- well all 13 & half of obsidian butterfly... sweatdrop But am finishing Danse Macabre & will go back to OB. My faves from the Anita Blake are Asher, Nathaniel, Micah & Jason. & From Merry they are Frost, Galen, the black knight (forget his real name right now), & Rhy (the death god)
I have a bipolar psycho cat- Reggie or Regg & a half dead golden at 14yrs old named Meggi. shes half deaf/half blind & just lays around the house all day every day- hence why i say half dead. But shes not suffering so we've havent put her to sleep yet. Tho i hope we dont keep it off much longer- i cant really stand to see her around the house like this its kinda inhumane. & We lost our 7 yr old black & white short hair (Buddy) well will be 3 years ago in Sept. & well have had reg for 3 years next feb.
Heh sweatdrop sorry for all the depressing...
Um i used to write novels but im not so keen on it now I like drawing more & am trying my hand at comics ^_^ Im going to be a sophmore after i get my last 12 hours this fall & spring before i head to SIUE in the summer. Ive been with my boyfriend for a lil over a year now ^_^ & will be moving in with him in the summer ^_^
um i think i might have over shared a lil. So ill say one more thing before i stop. Becuz of anita & a dream i had i started writing a novel based on vampires my self ^_^.
OK! DONE NOW ^_^ Sorry i over shared.... sweatdrop sweatdrop

Hi, I'm Kuro. I'm 16 and started reading this series about two months ago when my friend introduced me to it. I'm not done with it yet, but I'm determined to finish the series before the end of my summer vacation. I'm in the middle of Obsidian Butterfly right now, and I'm spending any free time I have curled up in a corner and reading. I tend to space out when I read. sweatdrop It can't be helped.
I have to say that my favorite character is either Jean-Claude or Jason. I know, it's a really weird pick, but for some reason, being scared of rotting zombies appeals to me. whee
I have purchased all the Anita Blake books and have them lined up on my shelf as motivation to finish them all. I also have all the anthologies that Laurell K. Hamilton has written for and also have the first two books in the Meredith Gentry series. (I ordered them all at the same time and they came in a box with 17 or so books in it... xp )
I guess that's all about me. I'm really looking forward to talking about the books.

Hello, my name is Angell, and I am 17 years old. I first started reading it when "Incubus Dreams" was published, and it caught my eye on the "recent" bookstand. I have been reading Anita Blake books for only a few months, but am already on "Cerulean Sins" and have gotten two of my friends addicted to them too.
My favorite character I would have to say is Jason, he's just awesome. So far I like Micah, but I don't know much about him yet. Gah, Jason isn't my favorite, he's my second favorite! How could I forget our favotire hit man Edward!!!! Yes, I was THRILLED when I cam upon "Obsidian Butterfly" and it was a book all about Edward. He rocks my socks, and shakes my bones.
One of my friends complain that I'm always huddled up and reading a book, but what can I say *shrugs* when the conversation's not interesting I pull out my book, who could resist Jean Claude's charm, Anita's sarcasm, Jason's remarks, Edward's almost-smile, and even Richard's hard-headedness. I love them!
Any Jason or Edward fans out there get in touch with me!

Hey there, I'm cirquegirl999, the name's from another vampire series that I read before Anita Blake and frankly I don't think there's anything that can top it. I'm 15, will be 16 Febraury 21st, and going into junior year at ETHS. Frankly I'd never heard of Laurell K. Hamilton until I picked up her first book Guilty Pleasures about two weeks ago and frankly I haven't been able to stop reading them! My family is currently joking around that now I'm becoming the creatures I so love to read about. Like others have said I love the character Anita Blake and frankly every other character she's involved with in the series. I love the authors way of making Anita so down to earth and really showing both the good and bad sides of her personality, which a lot of authors don't do, for this alone I can only say to Anita for being everything you are-"You go girl!" blaugh

Hello guys, guess I haven't introduced myself just yet.
My name is Virago, aka Lucia. I'm sixteen. I've been reading Anita Blake for some years now, and have been a rabid fan since Guilty Pleasures. I can never hold negative criticism about Hamilton's novels, and I find that her style has actually affected my writing to add a new flavour. I must say that her novels are refreshing, practical and always interesting. One day, I hope to be as accomplished as Laurell K. Hamilton, and hopefully get to meet her at some point.
My favourite character is Jean-Claude, and of course Anita. I've never liked Richard, and I can't say Edward is by far my favourite, though I do admire how cold he can be. Jean-Claude just strikes me.. Well, not to be cliche, here, but he seems like the epitome of males, to me. I won't go into depth for fear that it will grow mushy. I'm glad to see so many other fans of Anita Blake. I've really come to appreciate the reality of Anita's character, and how I've actually found myself relating to her, more times than not. I appreciate that Hamilton is able to put so much depth into one character, and I will always hold her in high regard for it.
Anyways, thanks for reading, if you bothered. Have a nice day. =D
