Artesia smiles and jumps to her feet, offering him her hand. "Of course! Artesia loves taking walks with friends. It's fun." Her tail was moving fast and she was almost bouncing on her heels.

Chanda took the offered hand, so he wouldn't offend but made it to his feet on his own. "Know any good places for walks?"

Artesia purrs and squeezes his hand in a friendly way. "Hmmm Artesia thinks the garden is nice. And the lakeside path. And the path through the woods. There's lots of places to walk, and Artesia is happy with any."

"Hm..the lake first maybe?" Chanda liked the prospect of water. He squeezed her hand gently in return, careful not to catch her with his nails.

Artesia bounces again. "Sounds wonderful! Artesia will show you the way." She heads out, leading him after her. She was as bouncy in her walk as she was in personality. "There's interesting people who live there too. Mermaids and conchs and koi and mermen and others!"

"Oh...sounds interesting." Chanda is willingly pulled along, it was nice to have someone to talk to for once...who might even eventually be a friend.

Artesia nods exuberantly. "One sorta kinda lives with the people Artesia now lives with, in that there's a big tank he comes to visit at home, but Artesia doesn't know how it connects to the lake at all, Artesia lives far away, through a magic door."

"Wow...must be a long ways away. At least you don't live alone." Chanda chuckled. "I bet you don't have trouble making friends either." He grinned, maybe she could give him some pointers.

Artesia smiles a bit. "Artesia hardly lives alone. Artesia lives with LOTS of people." She pauses, by the lake side as they arrived, and ponders, then says "LOTS. Artesia is sometimes overwhelmed." She ponders. "Sometimes Artesia does. Some people are grouchs, Like the Fluffy Ferret..." Her ears lower, and she looks around. "OOPS Artesia means Draco! Draco gets mad at Artesia for calling him the Fluffy Ferret. But he IS." She sighs. "And others think Artesia is... too friendly."

"It's alright, Artesia, no one is around to hear you..." Chanda's smile softened. Despite her situation Artesia didn't seem to be free of old habits, but then again neither was he so he was in no place to judge. "...well, lets go for a walk...and could you tell me more about this place?"

Artesia smiles slowly and nods. "All right, Chanda. Artesia will tell you what she knows. Artesia knows that this tower belongs to a powerful witch or sorceress or something of that sort. Benign and she likes to share. Artesia has explored many doors and always finds something new." She tilts her head. "Artesia uses the magic door from the tower to Home."

Lady Aria Starstone Feiron pursed his lips at the dissatisfied look, and considers, then smile. "Half an hour, maybe? Less then an hour, we're really close, it's just the twists and turns can be confusing if you don't know it." Mausk smiled. "Oh alright, that doesn't sound bad at all," he responded, scratching his neck with a finger. "I'm glad I met you Feiron, then I'd probably be back there, still wondering around cluelessly." He smiled brightly.

Feiron smiles a bit, and nods, then flies to the next point. He leads Mausk, slowly through the woods, until they hit a break in the trees. The tower was now visible. "Here we go... would you care to come inside?"

Belarion walks quietly outside of the tower, trying not to fume about some things, and then he stops, and breaths deep, calming himself slowly. "Wont let her get to me. Not worth it..." He moves towards the woods, down the path, his eyes distracted.

Jeida sat on the steps of his wagon idly shuffling cards his green eyes on the path leading to the woods. For all this places supposed residents it seemed a rather quiet place. It was supposed to be a community of people like himself, anthros, at least that's what Auntie had said.
He was just about ready to give up when he saw someone headed down the path toward him. A fiery red head with wings. Maybe Auntie was right?
"Hey, friend, you seem lost."
