The elf gently relaxed the pot down on the counter top and glared into the woman’s eyes. "I'm looking for a Shouko." The elf reassured himself as he pulled out the note left for him and glanced over the name.
"Yeah... Shouko. It says so on this card!" He flipped the card over and showed her what he was looking at.

"That's me!" said Shouko, smiling and brushing a strand of pink hair behind her ear. The man seemed a bit cross - she'd need to do something about that.
She eyed the card, remembering which pot this had been. "Yeah, I delivered that," she said. "So you wanted to learn more about us?" she asked, drawing the logical conclusion. That was, after all, what the invitation was for.

"Yes... I would like to know more about this... Project." The man nodded setting down the pot.
"So this thing... is supposed to grow into a child?" Kyo didn't mean to come off cross, the thing is that he didn't really sign up for any new children and he already had his hands full with three others back at home. At least two of the three had been mild mannered.

"More than supposed to," replied Shouko with a nod. "It definitely will."
She motioned to the shelf of photographs, and then to herself. "Living, breathing proof. Every Eden starts like this. The leaves come in on the winds, our parents plant us, and a while later we're born."

The Elves naturally tan skin tone went pale as soon as he heard the definite news about what the leaf would turn into. "A... Another child?" Kyo scratched at his head, "like I need another one, but I guess the others at home will help me out. Anyways thanks for your help. I can take it from here."
The elf smiled and nodded as he lifted the pot back up and headed out of the shop.

Layne had certainly taken his time, but he was finally there; he'd finally gotten up the nerve (or rather, finally urged himself to stop being so lazy) to come see what this time was about. He had to come here eventually, after all - who knew when the leaf would turn into a kid!
And of course, the fact that his furnace had died was ample persuasion for him to leave the house.
"Hello?"

They just kept coming! Thought Shouko, slamming the file cabinet shut again. Obviously, this was not going to get done today. She looked over at the man in the doorway, noted the flowerpot, and went over to see what she could do for him.
"Hi!" she said cheerfully. "Welcome to the Eden Project! I'm Shouko."
Since, of course, that seemed to be the answer to the million dollar question today.

Alright, so he had the right place, and the right person. That was good; it'd be a bit on the embarrassing side to have wandered into the wrong place. They'd probably have thought him some kinda nut obsessed with leaves.
"Layne," spoken in a matter-of-fact manner, although his brow was already beginning to knit together as he tried to figure out how to phrase his primary question. Or introduction, whatever you wanted to take it as. He had more questions then this of course, but he just wanted to get one thing clear first.
"So. You grow people from leaves?"
Everyone had to make a living somehow, he guessed...although how exactly giving away leaf-babies was making a living, was beyond him.

Monty had been doing pretty good, or so she thought, when it came to taking care of things Regina would need. Food had been procured, and clothes, and she even had a few little toys that Regina liked to chew on. Of course, Monty had discovered through an unfortunate accident that had her fingers wrapped in bandages that Regina had pretty sharp little canines and molars. Lucky her. Hefting the toddler on her hip, Monty entered the main area of the Eden Project headquarters, looking around for anyone who might've been there.
Regina had one arm wrapped lazily around Monty's neck, turned to look the same way as Monty had been walking. When they entered the main room of the headquarters, a frown pulled onto her lips. Her nose went crazy, sniffing about for anything that could remotely lead to 'danger'. She didn't see anything, and when nothing foreboding hit her nose, she relaxed again and popped her plush teddy bear's arm into her mouth, gnawing away quietly on the arm. Monty wouldn't buy her anything to chew on befitting a dog, so she had to make due.
"Helloooo?" Monty said, sort of throwing herself into the scene as she looked around. The toddler rolled her eyes at her mother, and growled a little, tugging at the arm to rip it free and try to eat. Monty heard the growl, and reached up, pulling the bear away and looking at Regina pointedly. "If you're going to eat it, Regina, I'm taking it away."
Regina pouted, and took her toy back, chewing again but not trying to rip it free. She hadn't brought any other toys with her, she'd have to make due until she got home. Dang.

On one weekend, Tahlia had prepared for an extensive day out on the town. Dressed in sturdy lederhosen and khaki jacket over a cropped, bright yellow Hawaiian shirt, with comfy travel worn blue hightops, she'd prepared a sturdy backpack for Darner's pot, along with a few sandwiches and a big bottle of water.
She was going to find this Eden Project and wrangle a few answers out of the Shouko person. With a nice day out, Tahlia had been looking forward to it. Several fruitless hours later, she'd finally found someone who hadn't simply looked confused at the query, "Ever hear of Eden Project?".
Feeling tired but triumphant, Tahlia now stood before the Eden Project Headquarters. It looked like a nice place. Adjusting the backpack, which had steadily gotten heavier as the day worn on, she murmured some encouragement to Darner, and walked into the building.
The interior was pretty nice, actually. It looked like it had been designed with kids in mind. Tahlia was a little surprised to see someone else there. Someone with a young kid. Her heartbeat quickened. Suddenly apprehensive, Tahlia hung back and watched as the other person's kid attempted to eat her Teddy Bear. Was that what Darner would look like?
"Uh, hi! Hey, this is going to sound strange, but did you kid -did she come from a leaf?" Tahlia asked, stepping up to the pair.

Welcome to The First Ever Eden Project Egg Hunt
Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the rest of Gaia, the Eden Project center looked calm and serene. Around the grounds of the center a group of parents have hidden a staggering number of brightly colored Easter eggs. In tall grass, behinds rocks, and tucked in the nooks of the gazebo, chances are if an egg will fit there you’ll find one! Over 100 plastic eggs have been hidden in all, so there are more than enough to go around.
All of the eggs contain a small prize, weather it be a piece of candy or a small hairclip or toy. Off to the side picnic table have been set up for egg decorating and snacks.
Children are welcome to hunt individually or in groups. Older children and adults are welcome and encouraged to help the younger kids. ICly the hunt begins at noon on the Saturday before Easter and ends in the early evening or until all the eggs have been found.

Alice looked around with excitment. Mum, Simon and Mrs Potts had been telling her all about Easter and then Mum had brought her here. Mum had explained it on the way here. Little colourful eggs like the ones back home were hidden around the place and the game was to find them.
Mum also said that she would likely meet lots of new friends here. Friends like Hana and Alex. This more than anything else was making her excited, been around mum and Simon was fun but she still wanted to meet other people more like her, mum had a tail and ears like she did but she wasn't the same.
Kiri looked around, this was the second time she had been here and it was looking a lot nicer this time. She had been interested when she had gotten the invite and thought it was a good opportunity so had decided to go for it. Alice certainly seemed happy about the whole thing and Kiri just hoped things met Alice's expectations.
Now all she had to do was find the people in charge of the event and find out how things were going to work, preferably before Alice went after the Easter Eggs.
