His own hand curling around Kairi's, he simply nodded. He felt a warm flush of pleasure heat his cheeks at her nearness, and he squeezed her hand lightly. It always seemed so small and delicate to him, really.
So unlike Riku's.... He blinked in surprise at that thought. Where had it come from?
Nevertheless, he settled against the wall with her, nodded. If she wanted to stay here, it was fine with him.
"Okay, Kairi." A little while, then they had to get back to the others.
~
Tifa smiled encouragingly at Aerith and nodded, her eyes twinkling in mirth. Her friend was so in love that it was cute. Her smile faded when Aerith went to Cloud even as her attention was focused back on their battle once again. Enough diversions. Now then....to deal with the problem....

Wow… this group was a little strange. Off beat even… but that wasn’t saying much consider the people that Number Four hung around with… though that wasn’t exactly by choice. It was more of the fact that he had no where else to go. But these people… were they even friends? They stood up for Axel but then the girl ran off and Sora dashed after her. The Heartless had no idea who the blondie was but he certainly knew Demyx. Demyx… The Heartless eyed the musician wearily and dared not take his eyes of the man. If that guy ev-
The cloaked man doubled over in pain. He couldn’t breathe! He couldn’t breathe! What just happened? He looked up to see the blonde kid already rushing back. Why wasn’t he paying attention! He really shouldn’t be here!
It took awhile for him to catch his breath so he could speak once again. “H-hey!” Number Four wheezed. “I… I didn’t do anything to him! Okay? Cool it!”

Roxas was happy to see Saix was better… but what happened to Tifa? Did him getting hurt scare her that much? Well… Roxas would certainly be scared if something happened to Namine but he wouldn't act how Tifa was acting. He listened carefully to what she and Aerith began talking about.
’Got a girlfriend?’ Roxas began thinking. ’Yeah, YOU. What is she thinking?!’ Was this how a girl’s mind worked? If it was, Roxas would rather know nothing about it. Really. And Aerith liked Cloud? Well… he never even knew that. He would have never even guessed.
“Hey Tifa,” Roxas pulled on her shirt so she would bend down to listen. He looked around carefully and whispered into her ear so only she could hear. “If Saix has a girlfriend, it’s you!” He then took care to raise his hand and give her a nice smack over the head. “Don’t be stupid!”
Then Yuffie’s voice filled the air. The boy’s eyes grew wide as he saw the giant shuriken head his way. He crouched as low to the ground as possible and watched it fly overhead towards Greed. He then stood and summoned Oathkeeper and Oblivion. If this Heartless was going to just overpower Saix and hurt him like that, Roxas was sure to make sure he wouldn’t hurt anyone else!

Now, this group was an interesting one. Greed liked how they could simply move from issue to issue in a matter of seconds, despite how he was still standing around. In fact, it was quite amusing. So much that a quiet laugh escaped his lips. Love was certainly in the air…
Though the Heartless did not expect that rather annoying ninja to attack from no where with such a powerful attack. This time he was caught off guard, unlike when Saix attacked. Now he had no time to dodge the attack.
Instead he scrambled to draw Deception once again. The wakazashi was held up just in time to deflect the gigantic shruiken from its deadly path. Greed, however, did not survive unscathed. The pure energy that the shruiken emitted seared off a good portion of his billowing sleeve and scorched quite a bit of his hand and lower forearm. But that, of course, was better than loosing one’s head. The large projectile weapon spun off in a completely different direction and away from all the other people in the intersection.
“Well now,” Greed passed Deception to its home once again. He shook his hand for a few moments, trying to relieve it from the searing pain though he would not allow the others to notice how badly it hurt. His face remained in the same grin as ever. “That was what had almost hurt poor Gluttony, wasn’t it? We aren’t even your enemies as you were not part of the Organization XIII. How rude!”

“He’s been asleep for awhile now, has he?” Pride asked. That was a little troublesome. He’d rather remain in this world… around this man… for as little as possible. That slowly arising headache was gaining more potency the longer he sat around. But he had a job to do and he was not fickle like the others.
“I cannot say I know Riku well… but I know of him. But the man who I am relaying the message for knows him quite well.” The Heartless continued to stare at the boy. “His message is very important.”
Number Two would much rather be as far away from this place as possible, like Xigbar had asked, though he was not about to admit such a fact. He would have to simply put up with the annoyances.
Then he stopped.
“A ‘dude’ like me?” Pride cocked an eyebrow as he looked back at the man. “What are you inferring, Xigbar?”

Saix glared over at Greed. He didn't understand that they were all in it together. Gluttony...
He must have been talking about Luxord's Heartless. He concluded. He was glad he was fully recovered. Now he wouldn't be harmed so damned easily! It made him seem so weak.
"The reason they're willing to fight along side us ex-Organization members is because we're all friends! That is why they're attacking you when you won't even try to attack them, Greed." He hissed, his Claymore appearing in his hands once again.
"Why don't you just leave and save us all the trouble of ripping you to peices?"
Saix was sick of games. They kept popping in at random, talking too much and toying with them all! He was sick of it! Anger flashed through his system again. Why couldn't those Heartless just disappear forever?! No one cared about them. They were better off left in the darkness.

They all worked together, huh? Not out of orders, but kindness. ’Must be nice,’ Greed thought to himself, finally allowing his hand to fall back at his side. Very well then. If that is the fate that these people wish, it would come to them soon enough.
“Oh how cute,” The Heartless mused. He even made the effort to take a tiny, sarcastic bow with both hands out. “I’d be more than glad to leave… but I cannot do that you see. Like I said, I’m under orders. I cannot return until I am told.”
“In other words… I’m stuck here. I thought while I am hanging around it’d be amusing to speak with a few people but I can see that I am not welcomed.” Greed proceeded to frown along with his statement. “But it is not like I am here to execute you this time. I do not know why you bother to attack.”

Xaldin glared at Greed. Man this p***k was annoying! "That's simple." Xaldin hissed angerly. "It is because you're a threat. From what I hear you guys are doing you're being real pain in the asses." He put his hands behind his back, much like he use to in the past, but he did not know this.
He wished he could fight. He truely did. This guy was too annoying NOT to fight.
"We don't care about your orders! You're leaving this place! Now!" He shouted angerly, gripping the hilt of his Claymore tightly before he ducked low and swung, not intending to throw it or strike him, but it sent a heavy gush of wind at Greed, and no matter how hard the man would try to stay standing, it would be pushed back. He remembered doing this to Kairi and Riku.
It does come in handy sometimes.

Cloud stood after Yuffie’s shruiken flew by overhead. He grabbed his larger sword which had fallen to the ground when he ducked. Though as he was about to start watching the fight for a good moment to enter, he heard someone behind him.
”You okay, Cloud?” It was Aerith. Cloud turned around and looked at her and set the tip of the sword on the ground, resting it so he wasn’t holding it. The cloth wrapped around it flew lightly in the wind.
“Yeah, I’m fine. Why do you ask?” Cloud questioned simply, raising an eyebrow. He’d seen her talking to Tifa, and wondered briefly what it was about. Oh well. It wasn’t his business.

"Well, I was trying to talk to you before but you wouldn't anwser..." Aerith frowned, "You brood too much" she held her staff on her shoulder and lightly tapped it against her, in deep thought. After a while she finally sighed, "Well, let's go, then...." she walked back over to where the others were standing, time to face Greed.
Kairi pulled herself off the ground, grabbing Sora's other hand and pulling him up with her, "Let's go back" she smiled and started to walk away from the castle, stilling holding Sora's hand. Kairi remembered that Sora had asked if they could go for a walk back on the islands, she was definately looking foward to it.

Xigbar's fingers flew across the keyboard again as the scan finished. There was nothing wrong with it apparently. Well, now the messages had stopped for a lil while... Or at least, 'PrgTrn' had dragged 'CmdStm' away from the user portal.
"Ah, dude, if he knows him, then I'll try to be sure to get Riku up and looking for him ASAP." Xigbar said as he glanced up from the computer again. One more message.
I LIKE your manpronssssaaaahdon'ttouchmetronyousuckNOOO.
"Good lord." Xigbar sighed. "I'm going to maul somebody for this." He flopped back down onto the computer 'desk' and looked at pride. "Oh, you just don't seem like the kind of guy to be into tech. Well, then again, neither do I but you've got more of a book vibe to ya. Like this other guy I used to know." Xigbar waved his hand at Pride, thinking of Vexen. "Or that mechanic vibe..." Lexaeus, "Or that gambling vibe," Luxord. "Yeah, you just seem like you just wrote one of the biggest, most important books in history."
Xigbar leaned his elbows on his knees and put his chin on his hands. He looked at Pride with a smile. "S'not bad, Pride, just yanno, vibes."

Bright orange eyes peeked over the edge of the window of the Gummi Ship. Xemnas still was hiding in the ship, completely horrified of what was going on. He didn't understand it, but there was a large fight going on and he was completely helpless to understand it. There was so much going on as well, and it made him feel nervous.
He pulled himself up on his shaking legs and took in a deep breath. He could walk like the others could! He just knew it. Each small, barefooted step he took was a victory in his blank mind as he slowly climbed out of the ship and then eased himself down onto the ground.
"I did it!" He declared with a smile. He tested his newly found skill out, taking a few paces back and forth before making his way over towards the group that he could see.
Tanned hands lightly adjusted the messed jacket that was hanging just slightly off his shoulders. He vaguely thought to himself that it would be nice to have shoes as his feet feeling rubbed raw and sore from walking along the gravel and rocky ground. He didn't notice that his footsteps started to get slightly bloody as he was too intent on simply trying to walk along. Perhaps somebody would be able to help him later on? He hoped to get a clean jacket. While it kept him clean, it was messy and he felt akward.

Marluxia watched in absolute horror as Saix was injured. Why? So...was this what they called friends? His question was confirmed as Saix shouted back at the Heartless. A sudden feeling was in the air, something he felt that was incredibly familiar...but painful. Love? Shut it. he snapped at his memories. Marluxia held out his hand, a pink petal dropping in it, and soon his pink scythe appeared. If Greed was going to injure Saix or rather anybody else he would make every single attempt at lobbing his Heartless' head off. Watching the attack Yuffie made made a smile appear on the pink-haired man's lips. It was cold but called of victory but yet...Ocean blue eyes met with his Heartless', speaking of understanding. It probably was just as painful for a Heartless as much as a Nobody, and all of these cloaked men were basically the Organization XIII in Heartless form. The fact that he understood Greed made him revolted, but at the same time irritated at himself for even thinking of sympathy. Look at what he did to Saix!
Soon the blade of his scythe doubled, and the familiar attack he had used in Destiny Islands was flying straight at Greed. The power of it emitted quite a bit of wind, similar to Yuffie's shuriken.
Deathscythe.

What?
Roxas had pulled her down so that she could hear what he had to say, and what he said had startled her, indeed. Me, Saix's...girlfriend? When did that happen?
More confused than anything, she winced when the boy smacked her upside the head, causing her to yelp slightly in response and straighten up. Ow, what had that been for? Had she really been that stupid?
She didn't have a chance to dwell on it any further, though, because Yuffie had already let her shuriken fly, and it had actually set fire to his forearm. A small injury, but still one nonetheless.
It was probably a good thing, considering the things he had been saying right now. Had Greed assumed that any of them would leave the others in the lurch?
Before she could respond, however, Saix had already swung his Claymore, sendinga gust of wind in Greed's direction. Mildly alarmed, her gaze flickered to Saix; she was afraid for him - if there was one thing she learnt, it was that Greed did not attack unless he was attacked, and now...what was the Heartless going to do?
He was capable of seriously hurting any of them with that blade of his, and that particular attack worried her. How could they counter it? She knew that there was a way, but the answer was far out of her reach.
But--
Her eyes widened as Marluxia's scythe arced towards Greed. Would it hit this time? Would Greed be expecting this as well?
~
"Okay," Sora smiled in return as she helped him up. Letting go of one hand to brush the dirt of his shorts, he nodded and headed in the direction of the current fight.
"Hey, Kairi, I need you to take care of Xemnas, okay?" Sora continued; he had spoken to Xemnas earlier, and apparently he had peed in his ship and was bleeding from his feet from walking as well. It was a wonder that Xemnas had come to this, but...
Oh well.
Maybe it was retribution, or something? He'd learnt that during one of his lessons, and maybe that was it.
Oh crap. Speaking of retribution. Roxas was going to KILL him if he found out Sora had left Namine with them. Picking up his pace, he tugged lightly at the redhead. "Come on, we have to hurry!"
