Well, it's not that far away from you. Ermak has to drive 16 miles to get to work. gonk
I don't suppose you could walk? I mean, if you set out early enough . . . And I suppose it all depends on what times you'd be working.
And if you were working, you'd have the income needed in order to take the bus . . .
Yeah, I've taken the bus to and from work at the Cafe. It's a long bus ride, with walks before and after. stressed

Yeah, I've taken the bus to and from work at the Cafe. It's a long bus ride, with walks before and after. stressed Well, that would probably take up some time. I'd get out of class around 1pm. I walk home and get there around 1:15 if I don't stay for lunch. If I were to work at 3, I wouldn't get much time to rest, then I need to set out for work, and I hate walking to the Marketplace area. Remeber, I do have a bad tendency to feel faint after being in the sun for extended periods of time. Heck, I got some serious sunburn from sitting outside for about ten minutes. My medication I am taking for my face makes me really sensitive to the sun...I'm like a vampire. XD I'm going to try applying at Stater Bros and Starbucks with Jenifer Barnes soon. Maybe we can get in there.

no problems there, the afternoon shift doesn't start coming in until 4:30 at the earliest. they are letting people go from the day shifts at 3. more likely you would start at 5:00pm and work until 10, or 11. that is standard. Well I supose you MIGHT start at 4:00 at the VERY earliest but that would be pushing it. weekends are a little different but you also probably don't have school then right?

Though the whole getting off, I couldn't work that late. x_x; I'd have to walk home there too, since my dad goes to bed at 9:00, and I can't wake up since he has to leave for work at 5:00am. This would all be easier if I had a car.

Decisions decisions...

Yeah.
Luckily my dad has given me his Ford Taurus. All I have to do is get my license.
Now thats going to be a pain. I'm currently getting lessons in his Explorer. Once I am used to driving for a while, he is going to start letting me use the Taurus.

I learned in my grandfather's red convertible, his was the only car available which was automatic. Once I was comfortable with that they started me on the stick-shift cars. ... whoo-boy was that ever 'fun'.
