Speaking of bomb threats, I quote one of my acquaintances when he recaps a current event:
"So, a mysterious backpack was found infront of Naples Highschool and was thought to be a bomb. The school had a lockdown and the whole street was closed. After two and a half hours, the backpack was found to be... just a backpack."

City: I currently live in Gainesville, but I grew up in Altamonte Springs
Hobbies: Reading, anime, video games, basketball, football, trying to learn guitar (and failing sweatdrop )
Work/School: I graduated from UF with a degree in East Asian Language and Literature a couple years ago, but now I work in a Food Science lab in town. My career goals are all over the place: I want to own and run a bookstore and be a teacher and/or historical linguist among other things.
Fun fact: Umm...when I'm clean shaven I look 17, with the beard, I can pass for 30? (I'm halfway in between)

MeakoSneezes Hey, furnace, what are dorms like? It depends on who you're around. I was lucky enough to be on a pretty fun and social floor of my dorm. There were probably about 15 different rooms with two people each on my floor. The one downside was that we all had to share one community bathroom area. But it was nice to be able to go to the lounge at any hour and start up a game of cards or just hang out and talk even at 3 or 4 in the morning. Everyone got along pretty well so there were no major problems. It's a good way to meet people and forces you to shift your comfort zone a little with so many people around all the time. I was extremely quiet and shy when I first started, but it helped me come out of my shell a lot. I personally think it's an experience everyone should have at some point.
