"Hey, I'm glad too, though that was dang funny, you have to admit." Gaius chuckled. It felt... good talking to this guy. Made him feel normal, even if he did tower over the guy when the level of their shoulders said Gaius should have been closer to Oz's height. Or that he had a pair of fleshy wings growing from the middle of his back, or a hairy tail.

The point was, he felt normal. And that made Gaius happy.

"Don't go making anyone else angry," Gaius teased, heading for the doorway. "You have to stay in one piece if you want to work!"

"Yeah, just don't mention it in front of him, scared the s**t out of me before I saw him dance," he laughed.

And Oz shared a similar feeling. He'd found these kind of meetings somewhat awkward though, where his brain told him two different things. It had happened with everyone so far - Sayuri, Aislinn, Colche, and Seth. And now Gaius. For now though, Gaius was as human as he was, he just looked different.

"Oh yeah, I'll conveniently get myself eaten if I change my mind," he laughed sarcastically, giving a polite nod and wave as Gaius left the gym.

Oz was left standing in the quiet gym, contemplating things in his empty skull. He bent down to retrieve his water bottle, groaning with the ache in his arms and shoulders. He knew it must be from all the training he'd done, but he couldn't help thinking if it was the first signs of his fate, just like Seth had warned.

That troubling thought clouded Oz's already over-worked mind and his tired body as he walked back to his duplex.

Why did there have to be so many damn turkeys? First the noise kept Freddie from sleeping into the afternoon, then he'd had the dodge the stupid things on his way to figuring out what to do. It wasn't any fun when they just let themselves get kicked, either. Having no desire to see who had turned up for the feast, Freddie went to check out the equipment in the Workout Room.

Once he stepped instead he considered the treadmill for all of a second before he decided even alone that wasn't something he wanted to try. He veered towards the free weights. Tits or no, he'd be damned if he'd let himself fall out of shape. He really had to make up for all that cheesecake then...

Gaius was in more than a good mood as he walked in the direction of the weight room. Not only was it a beautiful morning, despite the... strange presence of turkeys all over. But hey, better than dead carcasses, right?

Intending to go through his usual daily leg exercises, Gaius walked in, clad in shorts and his usual towel over a shoulder. However, the presence of company made him pause, wondering if it was that Oz guy he'd met. The friendly smile that flashed across his face quickly dropped, though, at the figure currently working on the weights. He stared, obviously confused. The uniform, the hair... He recognized it, but the woman... Gaius scratched at his neck.

"Hey, uh, do I know you...?"

Freddie knew that voice... He stopped and turned to face Gaius. He glared at him, daring him to make a comment. Rather than say anything he shifted his grip on one of the weights. Throwing them was a little on the extreme side, even for him, but hopefully the threat of it was just as good.

Gaius cringed back as the woman shot him an obvious death-glare. Woah, what had he done?

Knowing better than to bring down the wrath of a female, particularly a surly-looking one like this, Gaius quietly moved over to the leg-press and sat himself down. However, the positioning of the machine left him facing the rest of the gym, with a clear view of his ugly company. He pondered trying to start up polite conversation just to lighten the mood. She'd obviously changed once, judging by the ears and nose... Gaius grunted, lifting up his leg against the weights. Something about her just seemed so familiar, but his mind was missing a connection.

Pausing in his exercises, Gaius narrowed an eye at her critically. "...Do you have a brother here? I swear I've seen a guy that resembles you somewhere."

Freddie tried to continue going through reps in silence, but as soon as Gaius spoke he lost count.

"How ********' stupid can you be?" he growled. His voice was more or less the same, a little higher, but recognizable.

And it clicked.

Gaius' jaw dropped. Now he recognized where he'd seen him. "F-Freddie?" he stammered, staring wide-eyed. The last time he'd seen the guy, he'd been a lot more... manly. "Why... do you have boobs?"

It should have been horrifying, and on a level, it was. Even disturbing, but seeing the guy who'd been such a meat-head with a much more feminine curve struck something in Gaius. A snort escaped him as he covered his mouth, trying to hide a grin, but it was too late. "Heheh... ha ha haaha!" He was already chortling, quickly escalating to full-on blatant laughter.

"You have boobs!"

"I also have weights," Freddie hissed. "Heavy ones."

And his arms were hurting from not putting the damn things down, if that.

The horse-man either didn't hear or didn't care as he continued to laugh to the point he was bent over double, clutching his sides. Finally, he regained control of himself, gasping and giggling.

"Hehehe... sorry, just... aha, man, talk about irony, huh? Or karma. Something like that."

"I don't believe in no ********' karma," Freddie muttered. He turned and slammed the weights back into place with a loud clouder. "Least I got proper feet."

They were still juuust deformed enough to make shoes his even more uncomfortable, but he was desperately trying to regain some ground as if he'd ever had any to begin with.

"Hehe, you may not, but the labs might..." Gaius grinned broadly, enjoying this turn of the tables. "Sure, my feet may be weird, but at least I can still go shirt-less without having to worry about indecency!"

He leaned forward, proping himself up on his raised knee, a smug expression on his face. "You know, you should get some new clothes... that uniform does nothing for your figure..."

"Oh, that's it..." Freddie stomped towards Gaius, which might have been just the tiniest bit more intimidating and less nauseating if not for the bouncing set off by every step. He stopped a few feet away from Gaius, leaving him just enough room to stand and face him. "You want me to make yer face flatter?" He balled a fist. "Cause I can. You just keep talkin'."

Gaius averted his eyes as Freddie approached, not to be polite, but because, geeze, that just did not belong on an otherwise macho male body.

"But that's not fair!" He mock-pouted, though it quickly broke into a grin. "If you're a woman, I can't hit you!"

Despite his teasing talk, Gaius slipped his leg out of the machine, resting his feet on either side, but he didn't stand up just yet.

"I'm not a woman!" Freddie howled. He lurched forward and made an awkward attempt to haul Gaius up to his feet.
