Kaori picked up the clothes and took the opportunity when he turned his back to put them on. They felt a little loose, but anything was better than the ragged excuse for clothing she had been wearing earlier. As she followed Tadaaki out the door, Kaori tossed the rags into the trash, a hint of a smile on her face. "I'm right behind you Tadaaki," She called, running to his side. "Think I'll blend in?" Kaori asked, turning slightly so he could get a better look.

Tadaaki looked overh is shoulder saw her in the new outfit and shot a thumbs up saying, "Yeah you totally will, you'll blend in just perfect sis!" ((Lets just say that now shes wearing the outfit she haso n in her picture)). He hopped on the boat and said, "Alright I'm gonna change it from wind control to its actual engine so we can get there quick!"

((ook))
Kaori grinned at the compliment, "Thanks Tad!" She leapt in the boat beside her brother. "But won't the engine give us away with the noise? They couldn't have forgotten about us already and are probably out looking. I mean...how many other vehicles look like this. We'll be the center of attention."

Tadaaki looked over his shoulder and smirked saying, "If they have anything fast enough to catch my boat then they deserve to catch us." He pulled a lever and the track which the boat sat on in the garage began to turn it was now facing the exit, and suddenly it moved quickly up to the exit. Once it was pushed outside Tadaaki smirked and said, "Hang on sis, this is gonna be fast!" He pulled another lever and suddenly out of the back of the boat a large engine appeared and suddenly it sputtered to life and doing a quick wheely the boat suddenly shot at at least 300 miles an hour out across the wastelands.

Xin was getting restless. At times he would glance up on the position of the moon to determine what time it was. His crude estimates told him it was about 12:30. He sighed as he looked back down from the pyramid. Maybe the idiots hadn't noticed the North Star, but he doubted that. Ever since the the war, stars were a rare sight in Japan. He began to wonder if they weren't as intrigued as he was.
Anyways, Xin was counting down from 5 minutes. He had learned from experience that it was never good to stay in one place for a long time anywhere in this modern world. He knew someone would spot him on his high perch and his secrecy would be shattered. Again, in a world like this, it was a great inner trait to be paranoid.

Kaori rolled her eyes at Tadaaki's cockiness, but as soon as the boat sprang to life, she was starting to believe him. Literally falling backwards, she laughed. There was nothing particularly funny about heading off to risk your life fighting a near impossible foe, but Kaori laughed nonetheless. Wiping a hand across her eyes, her giggles began to subside. She sighed, "Thanks for finding me, Tad." It sounded innocent, but she meant it almost as last words...making sure everything was finished before her life end.
