Xairip turns to her, and says 'Salve.' ((Nero is...well, gay-ish in I, Claudius.)) Ave ((In history he's sortof crazy-ish)) Xairip raises an eyebrow. "'ave'?" ((So, how elese here takes Latin?))

It's an alternative form of Salve used in a way that means Hail {as in Hail, Ceasar} rather then Hello

'I guess it's we haven't learned that yet in my class...' ((I'm only in Latin I, and we get to wear togas all day on the Roman holidays. whee ))
