My most recent experience with critical analysis was last week, when I attended a project review meeting at work. I’m a quality engineer at a medical device company. My job is to review reports and determine if they’re acceptable before sending them to regulatory agencies, like the FDA. Word Count: 48

I have a high level of comfort writing essays about literature. I have an Associate’s degree in English. While I would rather read literature than write about it, I don’t mind writing. I also do a lot of technical writing at work. Word count: 42

I’m working through the list of 1001 Books You Must Read Before You Die. I’m up to about 900 books on the list. I also enjoy murder mysteries and historical fiction. I just finished The March, by E. L. Doctorow. It is about the American Civil War. Word Count: 47

I have so many favorites, but the book I’m recommending right now is Remarkably Bright Creatures, by Shelby Van Pelt. One of the narrators is an octopus named Marcellus. When I read his sections, I imagine them being spoken by Patrick Stewart. Marcellus’ speech is quite formal. Word Count: 47

A recent experience I've had with critical analysis and critical thinking was listening to the book Educated by Tara Westover. I feel comfortable writing essays but less talented writing about literature. The only books I am reading are children’s books to my daughter. My favorite creative text are memoirs.

I don’t really enjoy reading that much, but I love writing. I used to write poems when I was younger, and I really wish I had kept up with it. Life just got busy with school and work, but writing has always been something I’ve truly enjoyed.

I have done a bit of critical analysis in other classes and in past years. I’m not the best with writing essays or writing in general but not too bad. I read a lot of fantasy and fiction books and I like novels although I have started getting into poetry recently. Word Count: 51

My most recent experience was in my English class last semester. I don't really enjoy reading and writing especially with longer pieces but I will get it done if needed. I'm not really reading anything right now. I'm honestly not sure what my favorite work is. Word Count: 46

My most recent experience with critical analysis and critical thinking is my current Chemistry class. My comfort level with writing literature essays is medium. If I have something I am interested in, I can write a lot about it; if not, then it will be a tough time. Currently, I am not reading anything. And my favorite creative texts are horror and short stories that involve horror.

It made me think a lot more deeply. 2. I'd say I am fairly comfortable with it. Sometimes it takes me a bit to organize my thoughts, but once i'm comfortable, I usually enjoy the process. 3. I am currently reading Let Them by Mel Robbins. I absolutely love it and it really emphasizes on taking care of yourself and your mental health. 4. Im not really sure what my favorite creative texts are. WC:103
