Kahiau looked up to see that it was Selene and Estelle that had opened the door to come in. A sigh escaped his lips as he debated on how to respond. 'Should have known that that this would happened... But still no need to get upset about it. It could have happen with Professor Hazel coming in instead... ' "I can happily say that Dea and I are each others' kāna ipo, starting tonight. " He said before realizing why Selene was was asking for the when."Is there a betting pool on when we were to become an official couple?"If it wasn't for he fact that he was holding Dea in both arms right now, he would have face palmed.

"Afraid so dear brother of mine. I'm not the one running though but our father is. So you will have to deal with him about that." Selene began before going down the steps with Estelle in tow, she looked to see what time it was."There's ten minutes before Professor Hazel get here, so see y'all in a bit."Selene before dragging Estelle away so Kahiau and Dea could have another chance to have their first kiss as a couple.

"What?" Pidgeot asked. A crazy Kantonian Vulpix, what an odd thing to be attacked by out here. Maybe it was with someone bad. Crystal didn't say that she was too injured to run but that was the implication. Dan, Jolteon, and Rockruff were already halfway down the beach. "Stay with Crystal, Lickitung," said Pidgeot.
"Uh, uhhh, OK," said Lickitung uncertainly. He looked at Crystal and Sebastian shyly.
Pidgeot spread her wings and jumped up into the sky. She flew after Dan and the others. She came down low, just a few feet above the sand, so she could talk to Jolteon. "Hey, wait up! Our new friend can't run, her leg is hurt."
"Oh... ooops." Jolteon glanced back over his shoulder. Then he looked ahead and ran faster, and then darted out in front of Dan and made him trip.
Dan sprawled out in the sand. "...Ouch."
Jolteon climbed on top of him and nuzzled at his face. "We can't run, you bozo! That girl is too hurt!"
"Uhhhhhh." Dan sat up. He turned to look back down the beach at Crystal. "Sorry! I didn't know!" he shouted back to her.
Rockruff caught up to them. He stopped and panted for a few moments to catch his breath. "You guys! I was trying to tell you, I think I remember the way to Kahiau's house from here!"
Dan gazed at the Rockruff, understanding that he was trying to tell him something but not familiar enough to know what.
Jolteon looked at Dan. "He says he can get us to Kahiau's house."
"Good! Let's go!" Dan stood back up. But then he remembered Crystal. "Uhhh, we can just walk." He would wait for Crystal to catch up to them, Lickitung staying with her as he had been told, and then they would all walk. Rockruff took the lead, prancing on ahead with his tail wagging. He would stop to sniff around every now and then, because the scents told him more about where they were than the sights did.

Deanna nodded her head softly at Selene's question, she would let Kahiau vocalize it himself. As the other mentioned needing to grab things from her and Kahiau's parents' home, she arched a brow softly. Something told her she was using it as an excuse to give them time to finish what they had been about to do. She smiled softly in appreciation, her suspicion deeper as she went to pull Estelle with her. She did flush a little when Kahiau realized there was a betting pool going on about when they would finally become a couple. It was even stronger blush when she heard their father was the one who set it up. She waved as the two girls left, Selene had mentioned Professor Hazel would be there in about ten minutes. So they had time for a kiss, barring anything else happening to interrupt them. She turned her attention back to Kahiau once she was sure the girls were gone.

"So that was a bit of a surprise, huh? I guess we better get that kiss in, before any more people show up without notice. Selene or Estelle is one thing, but what if someone other than those who know us show up?"she asked. Sure, they were a couple, but their first kiss needed to be just for them. Well, and their Pokemon, but she knew she couldn't just make them leave. She knew Lightning had been waiting on pins and needles for this for quite some time.

Alright, let's see if they can get back on track,'Lightning commented.

Dan smiled. "Ahaha, yeah, we've been told that. It's a lot of fun, though. Don't you play with your Pokemon, too?" he asked. They all continued to walk following behind Rockruff. He was eager to get to Kahiau's house and would track way ahead of the group, then come trotting back to them, then go to his original spot to wait for them again. Then Jolteon tried to pounce on him and the two began to run back and forth across the path, chasing each other.

Dan could not imagine having a serious Pokemon like that; it probably would not be a good fit for him and would simply choose not to travel with him. Dan never forced Pokemon to come with him. When the injury was mentioned, he glanced at Crystal's leg. "So what happened?"

Jolteon and Rockruff continued to chase each other. Pidgeot now joined in, trying to prevent Jolteon from escaping the smaller, younger Pokemon. Lickitung stayed behind the trainers, gladly walking at their pace. He looked at Yuki curiously.

Once Estelle was outside, Selene closed the front door behind them, but also locked it before closing it. A sigh escaped her lips as she went down the steps."Hopefully they won't be disturbed for a a while yet. A great and happy surprise it was." Selene said before heading back towards the canyon unlike what she said of going to her parents' home. A slight grimace came to her lips as Estelle reminded her of what she said about being an old maid. She took a deep breath before responding back to that. "Yeah, I guess I am one." She admitted with a slight sad smile on her face before thinking of Sly again. Selene wished that she keep him out her mind and heart yet he kept coming back.

Once they were out of site and hearing distance from Kahiau's house was when she began to feel small pains on her body. Selene veered off the path into the forest behind the houses. She kept going until she reached a small clearing near the cliff and sat down on a small boulder. Quick, short images of Judge writhing in pain fill her mind as the pains got worse. There was shadowed sadistic Ghost-type Sableye was all over Judge, repeatedly piercing the Steelix's armor with his spectral claws in the images she saw in her mind. The pains that Selene was having were coming from her own self-inflicted wounds from long ago. She held out her left wrist to take a look at her cuts there. They were bright red, as if they were brand new instead of being almost four years old. She wanted to yell out in pain but she didn't..."How is this possible? At least they aren't bleeding out." Selene asked with a grimace of pain on her face while looking at some of the other self-inflicted wounds.

Kahiau just listened and watch as the two friends left. A sigh of relief came from his lips due to Selene closing the door and locking before she pulled it closed. "While I'm not surprised by the news of a betting pool about us, but surprised that my own father was the one to do so and was able to keep it from me... Dea, my kāna ipo ,I agree fully on that." Kahiau said as Golisopod, Goodra, and came out their poke balls. Garchomp went to the front door and sat down against it, looking towards the happy couple. Goodra did the same but at the back door. Golisopod made himself comfortable in his usual spot on the couch. Kahiau just grinned at that, seeing them wanting to support them in their own way. He looked back into Dea's eyes before leaning and kissing her sweet lips.
