((Someone let me know when Lei get his orders.....right now he is milling around doing nothing!))

Lei woke early morning like all the other men, his arm was still sore, but not quite as much as the day before. He rose and began to change clothes like all the other men, slipping into the cloth uniform, but not dawning his armor, knowing he would be off duty till he regained, what the army believed was, full use of his arm. After that Lei proceeded to the one place he knew he would be usefull, the smith.

Tatsuko smiled, the blush still evident upon her face. "Good Morning, Jin," she said, waving as well. She was a little less red than earlier, however the hue was still there. "I slept very well. Did you?" She smiled at Jin, watching him move. A small fluttering began to make its presence known in her stomach, as she bit her lip. After last night, she had a feeling that it was going to be like this for a little while. A few stray thoughts crossed her mind, mostly concerning Jin and herself. But, she couldn't exactally tell him what was on her mind.

"I slept well, though who wouldn't if they dreamt about such a lovely lady as you." He grinned and put the towel around his neck, holding the ends. His damp hair hung in his eyes. What am I saying! Jin's heart beat went faster, and he blushed a bit. "Sorry... I spoke out of turn."

While her face had been losing it's red hue, it now was back to being a brilliant scarlet. Tatsuko looked down for a moment, trying to compose herself. He... thinks I'm lovely... She smiled, taking a few steps closer to him. She wanted to be in his arms again. Last night, while it was something she hadn't expected, it was calming. Tatsuko really liked it. "Thank you... for the compliment."

Jin smiled, "Your welcome, but I don't want you to think I'm just showering you with compliments. I truly mean it." He walked closer and jumped, grabbing the railing of the balcony (it wasn't too high to begin with) and hoisted himself up and over. He landed next to her, and the deliciously sweet smell of incense was even stronger since he'd been working out. "I really do mean it Tatsuko..." he looked down at her with his intense eyes. "You are lovely..."

Tatsuko squeaked a little as Jin hopped onto the balcony, which made her blush even more. She wasn't expecting him to do that. With a smile, Tatsuko looked down a little before wrapping her arms around him. He was warm, and the smell of incense was intoxicating. "I have never thought you just showered them on me." She looked up, kissing him on the cheek. She knew it was forward, which didn't help relieve the redness of her face, but it felt... right. "And, again... thank you."

He slipped his arms around her her shoulders, and he blushed a bit when she kissed his cheek. "A girl such as you should have them showered upon her every day." He smiled down at her, leaning in close to kiss her lips. Just as they were about to touch, a servant came to the courtyard. "Sir! Lord Suboshi! Your father is looking for you!" He looked at the frantic messenger, then back to Tatsuko with sad eyes... "I'm sorry... I'll come back when I'm done. The maid will bring you breakfast." He smiled a bit and caressed her cheek, before pulling away and swinging himself back off the balcony.

Tatsuko's mind was racing as Jin's lips were so close to her own. She had never been kissed before, and she was... well, excited. But, that's when the messenger showed up. She nodded a little bit, watching him go. Her heart felt like it was going to beat out of her chest. She sighed, slipping down to the ground to catch her breath. She had almost had her first kiss... from a man she was falling in love with. Wow...

As Jin hurried away, he tried to not let a sour look come to his face. Maybe it's a good thing though, I don't even know if I'm allowed to fall in love with her... But for once in his life he was about to say the hell with tradition. He was falling for the Priestess, he knew it. He had deep feelings already. He'd nearly kissed her! He blushed a bit as he entered his father's chamber. He sat as his desk and looked up as Jin came in. "I have sent for the new soldiers, and asked the man you requested be included. They should be here later this morning. I have been told that you and the other warriors may have to travel around Kutou to find the remaining members, however I think you should stay here. You are unprepared to protect the priestess."

At this point, Jin was beyond angry, and didn't care what his father though in the least. "You say I am flighty, and I have no honor. That I am good for nothing, and all I do is bring shame to this house. I am going with Tatsuko, whether you wish it or not, because if I don't, then I really will tarnish my honor. Let me resilute in one thing in my life, please. Xiaoping died so I could protect her! Don't let his memory be tarnished like this!" The Lord reached over and slapped him, hard enough to draw blood. "Never talk to me in such an ungrateful tone you wretch. The only reason I haven't disowned you is because your mother has already lost one son. Do as you wish, but if you bring dishonor to this family, I'll kill you myself." Jin turned and walked out, not even waiting to be dismissed. Blood dribbled down his chin, and his face stung badly. But... he'd promised to see Tatsuko, so he went and grabbed a towel to ebb the blood flow, and went to her room, knocking lightly on the door.

Lei had been sitting in the smith's shop for almost an hour. The smith wasn't working to hard, and refused to let Lei do anything. They where talking, about everything really, the heavy set man was giving Lei pointers on how to survive in the military. Lei listened intently till a man around his age came running into the shop.
"Shao Lei, the captain is looking for you."

Lei looked a bit confused but waisted no time in following the other man.

They reached one of the fields, a group of men where already standin around. Just as they approached the group broke up and the captain was standing looking at Lei.
"Shao Lei reporting for duty sir." he saluted.

"Get your travel pack ready, your heading out." the captain said.

"Sir?" Lei was confused.

"I said get your pack ready, the lord requested men to escort the priestess." the captain stepped up into his face, "He requested you specificaly, don't screw this up Shao, or I will personaly see you removed from this army."

"Yes sir..." he didn't dare breath with the man in his face, after the captian had begun to walk away he took a deep breath, trying to figure if this was a good thing or a bad thing.

Kyo watched as a royal messenger entered the base. He stood up and streched. I guess it's time to stir up some trouble here. He had the symbols for the Konan Royal Army leave his cloak. He warped to the center of the bases' grounds and materierialized his monk's spade. "Who here thinks they have any power at all. I will prove each and every one of you wrong." He took a low offensive stance and prepared for someone to attack him.

Tatsuko had pulled herself off of the patio, using the time between when Jin left and had knocked on her door to change back into her school uniform. She would rather stay in the clothing Jin had given her, but she figured it would be best to look presentable. She had been in the middle of brushing her hair, which thankfully for her, Tatsuko had a small hairbrush in her bag. As she heard the knock on her door, she manuvered her way over there, opening it. A smile crossed her face as she saw Jin, but that quickly left. She glanced at the towel, seeing little bit of blood remanints. The brush dropped out of her hand, and her arms went around his neck. "What happened?! You're bleeding..." She bit her lip, hoping that it wasn't because of her. She didn't want him to be hurt because she was there.

He smiled softly down at her, "It's alright Tatsuko," he whispered, "It wasn't because of anything you did. I just stood up to my father, this was the result. He told me I couldn't go with you, to find the warriors. I stood up to him, and he slapped me. I'll have a bruise but it was worth it. He's letting me go." He looked side to side, down the hall, the gently lifted her from the ground and went inside, so the maids wouldn't hear anything. "Tatsuko... about earlier..."

Tatsuko stayed nuzzled against his shoulder, still frowning a little. She didn't want to see the blood on his face. Afterall, that would make her... well, a little weak kneed. She didn't like blood, even if it was Jin's. "I'm sorry... but, I am glad that you get to come with me." She smiled softly. At the mention of earlier, she blushed, looking down a little. She still did want to kiss him. She hoped that he wasn't going to apologize for trying. "Yes...?"

"That man is a traitor and an enemy!" Lei pointed straight at the man, but didn't draw his sword.
