mei giggled watching the older lioness run after her. "hurry!" she sqeaked as she ran into the cave searching around for brigett and angela.

Adrastos yawned as he found himself laying on his usual perch, where he sunbathed most of the time. He yawned a bit tiredly, his steel orbs glancing back and fourth.

Knarnia strolled around the lands, her leg healed. She had a silly grin on her face, the kind of when someone has a little surprise in store for someone. And that someone wasn't that far away... "Hi traveler!" she said, keeping her grin.

Adrastos' ears perked up when he heard Knarnia's enthused voice. He didn't know whom she was talking to but he had decided to look for the hell of it. His steel orbs glanced over to where her voice had came from. "Hello Knarnia." he replied trying not to sound to tired.

Knarnia didn't notice his weariness, so excited she was. The only reason she wasn't jumping all around was for a slight heaviness on her lightly swollen womb. Oh yeah, she had news... It was the first time, but still she was sure of it. "I got one word for ya, and I think you'll like it..."

"Really?" he asked, attempting to keep his large eyes open. The heat was bearing down on his coat and it was wearing him down. Hwever his eyes stayed on her intently listening to one of his beloved members in his pride.

Adrastos ears perked up at that moment, "Your pregnant?" he asked getting up, curiously. He pondered what to do or say, he gave her a loving nuzzle to her cheek.

Knarnia nodded, purring softly. "I think so. Either that or I'm getting fat." she added, sticking her tongue out playfully. "Little Addie's gonna be a father..." Well, Knarnia was older than him...

He smiled, he still hadn't told anyone about Shairi or Briseis' cubs. Shairi was hopefully coming to his pride, if she could get Akin off her back and all. Everyone around him seemed to be having babies, maybe it was just that time of the year. Karver had kids, Benoni and Tequila had kids, he smiled for once his kids would be in his own pride. "I'm not so little anymore," he purred back sarcastically giving a small lick to her muzzle. He sat on his haunches still tired a bit even from the news.

Knarnia nibbled gently on Adrastos's ear, giggling. She did notice his weariness this time though, her brow wrinkling in mild worry. "Come up to the den, it's hot and I'm sure you'd like to rest." the lioness said, nuzzling him sweetly.

Without objecting he followed her up to the den which was unbelievbly cooler than it was outside. He looked around and nobody seemed to be in the den at the moment besides him and Knarnia.

Knarnia lied down by his side, still smilling. "If you're wondering where they are, don't worry, not too far. Or is there anything else bothering you?"

"Nope." he lied, simply and shortly as his ears lay flat as he lay his over-sized head upon his rather large paws to catch up on his belated sleep. His head pondered when his cubs would be born from Shairi and Knarnia.

"That sounds good too." The tribal lioness layed her head down as well, leaning lightly on Adrastos. She was incredibly happy, and her excitement had tired her a little as well. Or was it the growing lives inside her? Whatever it was, she was just glad to be there at his side, with the thoughts of having her own family inducing her into a ligt sleep with a big smile.
