Karthin looked at the shell in her hands before looking into her eyes."Not as pretty as your eyes are." He told her softly as he swam a little closer to her. He smiled. "I can make you a necklace out of shells like these if you would like." He told her. "Of course I think you would look better in one of my robes." He whispered into her ear. He smiled before softly kissing her cheek.

Karthin blushed lightly at her remark about mating. He was slightly startled when she suddenly swam away from him, but he shrugged it off. "Don't underestimate me Angela." He told her with a smirk. "How far down can they actually be?" He asked as he took a deep breath and dived down towards the bottom. He swam fairly quickly for somebody without fins. He swam until his lungs felt like they were on fire. He quickly reemerged and gasped for breath again. "Damn. This pool is deeper than I thought." He told her.

Karthin chuckled. "I'm starting to think you don't know what an innuendo is." He joked. He looked over at her and smiled. "Just you wait, by the time the sun sets I'll have not only collected the shells, but you will already have your necklace." He told her confidently. He climbed out of the water and into a tree overlooking the pool. He had long forgotten about being naked. He jumped off the branch and dived perfectly into the water. The extra momentum gave him an edge on depth. He was proud of himself for thinking of this plan as he reached the bottom and grabbed a couple of shells. He swam as quickly as he could back up to the top. He took a deep breath as he resurfaced. "I told you not to underestimate me." He told her through his panting.

Karthin stayed in the water for another ten minutes thinking about everything that happened. 'There is still a lot I don't understand it seems. How is anybody supposed to be able to comprehend things like this? One minute it seems like she's enjoying my competitive side, and then the next it's offending her.' He thought to himself. He slowly climbed out of the pool and let the wind dry him off. When he was dry he put his clothes back on and took off into the sky. He flew aimlessly around for a little while. He greeted any Valkyrie he came across, but that was it. His mind was too focused on other things. He didn't even notice that he had made his way back to his room. He closed and locked the door before flopping down on the bed and using his arm to cover his eyes. "I guess this is what I get for being raised by a pervert." He said to himself. "I wish somebody would have warned me about things like this. I don't have all of the answers you bastards." He cursed his troupe softly before chuckling sadly to himself. He rolled onto his side with his back to the door and drifted off to sleep. "Hopefully they don't mind that I'm not at dinner." He said before drifting off to sleep.

Karthin stirred softly. He yawned as leaned into the body next to him unconsciously. He start to open his eyes, but his vision is still blurry. "Is that you big sis?" He asked groggily. "I thought you were dead." He said. for some reason his body and mind wouldn't fully wake up for him. He turned over on his side and fell back to sleep. "I...miss you....Angela." He said softly before sleep completely takes over him. His dreams were maelstroms of memories, and regrets. He was forced to see all of the bad things that befell his friends and those he considered family. He watched as the memory of his big sister's murder replayed over and over. He watched every failed attempt to impress Angela, and every agonizing memory of training with the troupe. He tossed and turned in his sleep. He even let out a cry of pain a few times.

Karthin stirred in his sleep as the sun shone in his eyes. He yawned and rubbed his eyes before he felt a body pressed against him. He turned over gently to see Angela cuddling with him. He blinked confused a few times before he wrapped his arms around her for a moment before he carefully pulled away from her and got out of bed. He pulled a sheet over Angela and sat down next to her. He combed the hair out of her face. "Sleep well Angela." He whispered to her.

"Did you sleep well Angela?" Karthin asked her. He smiled at her. "And what are you doing here? I thought for sure you wouldn't want to speak to me again for a while." He added as he stood up. He walked over to the screen he had up. He changed into his training gi. He stepped back out and watched her for a second. "I wanted to apologize about yesterday. I was acting like an arrogant sun of a b***h." He told her with a bow. "I hope you can forgive me."

Karthin watched her leave his room silently. He wanted to say so many things to her, but it didn't feel like the right time. They both needed a little time to sort out their thoughts. He waited for a minute before he left his room. He walked calmly to the dinning hall and grabbed some fruit to take with him. He apologized to the other Valkyrie and promised them he wouldn't miss another meal after this morning's breakfast. He quickly donned the flying boots and took off towards the shore that Angela showed him the previous day. When he arrived he gently put his food down on a spare shirt he brought with him before he stretched his muscles. He was planning on being there almost all day.
