Jun was currently dodging the teacher, not wanting to be the one who takes the fall for making someone walk in to the wrong bathroom, even if it was her fault. She pressed herself against a wall and a layer of chakra washed over her. Her thin form shimmered and shivered as it turned color and texture, appearing to be just the same as the wall behind her. The teacher ran by her without noticing, not taking a close enough look to see the difference.
A younger student had seen what she had done, his eyes filled with a mischievous glee. Jun knew a snitch when she saw one. She brought up her hand to her face as if ashamed from her actions, and then waved her palm in front of her face. Her visage changed from the soft and peaceful Jun to a horrendous Oni, eyes blood red and fangs curling past a devilish smirk. The kid squeaked in terror and bolted in the other direction.
Jun passed by a classroom and saw a student spacing out, nearly drooling. She waved at him to catch his attention and smiled as the colors he was viewing turned in to deep blues and greens. He rubbed at his eyes, wondering what the hell had just happened to him.

The woman was interesting. Her face was clearly very amused -- and not, truly, judgmental. She was a curious, inquisitive person at heart . . . and of him, she was very curious indeed. It was much the same from him to her; Nakya was a very pronounced woman, and the demeanor that she carried could only be described as . . . celestial.
"If you want the technical answer, no, my heart probably wouldn't have power oozing out of it," the boy stated with a faint grin. "What I know of power is that it wears many faces. Red kaleidoscopes. A pen and a letter's seal. Information others desire hidden away. But as it is, I don't have much authority in any of those particular areas, so I'm really just a pretentious teenager going off about things I know little about. And that's okay." Shinsei rolled his eyes, smirking at the corner of his lip.
She offered to help him along the path of power. Shinsei . . . was in truth delighted by the prospect. Kya seemed to be legendary -- he could feel that greatness radiating off of her. It was profound.
"That --" he paused. Shinsei didn't want to sound too... enamored. "That would be nice. I think... I would be able to learn a lot from you. I already am; you're right. These blocks are my challenge - my opportunity to grow, not truly deterrents. I must be rid of them."
And then, Chie came, and she bowed to Kya in a state of reverence. It appeared that the Senju was correct -- Kya truly was a figure worth recognition, and in his own way he was blessed to have her audience.
"Kya," he called her, still informally, "I would be happy to be your apprentice. And..." Shinsei looked to Chie, "Hey, Chie," the Senju said simply, beneath his breath. The woman and he didn't really grow much on each other. He had simply graduated . . . and that was it. No meaningful interactions, no real bond.
He looked upon this village with such a mixture of feelings. In truth, though, he didn't imagine himself belonging here. Maybe he needed to go after all. Maybe Kya could change that -- she seemed someone truly worth the time spent.
- - -
Meanwhile, as one of the other wood clones Shinsei had sent to pursue the ruffians rummaged through the Academy, he found a woman casting obscure illusions that did not seem wholly convincing nor all too monumental. She also had an odd demeanor, and a look that made her appear as if she were stupidly staring off into space, and into the face of someone that she didn't like, at the same time.
Curious, the Senju approached her, stepping forward and waving his hand a few times in her face as she both flew through techniques and through the hours of daylight.
"Hey," he said, his approach wholly obnoxious. "You another overaged Academy Student, like I was a second ago? You seem like you really want to get out of here. I feel like I've seen you somewhere in my peripheral learning jutsu for the last eight hours," the boy laughed, awkwardly, as he quickly cleared his throat to dispel his bereft humor.
Jun wiped the sweat from her brow and squirted water from a bottle in to her mouth. She rubbed at her eyes with one hand, feeling exhausted. This entire day had seen more effort on Jun's part than she had ever put in to any single thing in her life. It had fatigued her in such a way that her very being was repulsed at the idea of training any further. There wasn't much in the way of food here and that was frankly making her a bit emotional. How had she actually motivated herself so much to learn like twenty new things in only a few hours. Jun was frankly disappointed in herself.
When Shinsei approached and made his statement, Jun nodded her head big. She had seen him today at a few points during her aimless wandering. His name was unknown though and before today Jun had never seen himself.
"You seem like the kind of guy who is drawn with bold and brash lines, when everyone else is made of cutouts for the background." She was referring to his appearance.
Jun was phasing in and out of caring to actively participate in the world and it was making her a bit careless with her speech. After taking another swig Jun put down that water bottle in a place where the original owner could hopefully find it.
"I'm definitely ready to blow this popsicle stand. Do you have something in mind, tall, scarred, and handsome?" Jun was certainly ready for something either immensely entertaining or entirely relaxing.

Immediately, the girl made him laugh. Bold strokes, brash lines. That described him perfectly -- always imperfect, but always himself. Bold was an adequate definer. He was separate and louder, unique; but truly not too surprising, or gallant, or wondrous. Jun had a good judge of character, and he already admired her presence. She was entertaining, and also real -- in a way more human than all the others around him. They had all disappointed him infinitely.
"You seem like a girl who breathes color into the world around her," the Senju spoke with a sly grin. If only he had the time to stay longer -- they could've had a great conversation. But he had stepped into this with Jun as his last destination, the final contradiction to secure his safe exit from the village.
As she spoke, he scribbled into a small tablet of wood with a stake running down the surface of his wooden palm. And then, he spoke again. "I do have something in mind," stated the boy. "Although, I intend to lead from one Popsicle stand to the next. Gotta have some security, after all." And then?
The clone collapsed. Their conversation ceased. Jun would - dependent upon her inquisitive nature, or lack thereof - be stumped, as he began to fall backwards.
- - - -
There was a clone here. A clone there. Several clones had been sent in several different directions -- four to acquire the ruffians and their cans of graffiti spray. One to speak to Kya, now remaining with Chie, fortuitously important. One now stood with Jun. The real Shinsei, somewhere along the line, had been lost in translation -- no longer in the premise of the Academy, but that was okay. As a genin, he had no reason to be bound there, and no one would have noticed. The Wood Clones were impossible to differentiate for anyone but Kya, with her sharingan open.
But she was already with one clone. Where fake left and real started was a blurry thing.
The one that spoke to Jun held a poorly carved letter held in his hand. The one with Sumiko had an earnest, proud look upon his face, remaining alongside his companion who he had done -- and learned -- everything with. The one who spoke to Kya, and Chie, continued to stare with the same cynical melancholy that he always did . . . real or not. And the extra three? They returned to the Academy, joining back up on the interior to help manage the young ones before meeting back with the clone remaining with Sumiko, the ruffians, and one of Chie's clones. Those falsehoods of Shinsei beat up the ruffians for the Uzumaki -- and with her.
The two of them cooperated, perhaps for one last time, as the images of wood alongside the red-haired girl began to grip their throats tightly and gag. They held up their arms, before they withered, rotting shards of wood falling into the floor . . . as they receded in almost paper-like crumbles that blew with the wind and fluttered along the surface of the ground.
The one that was with Jun finished falling to the floor, thrown backwards backwards as his body of wood collapsed hard against the ground, shattering as splinters flung outward. The note in his hand, a script written in the thickness of mahogany and written by the shuffling motion of Mokuton hand-carving, read only this: 64.01.18.86.23. Remember your own words.
Coordinates. Something. The numbers led east of the village -- along the shoreline, going south. Meanwhile, the real one? Walking, casually, among large crowds and covered in very particular dress. He had what he needed - copied pages of styles, the scrolls for his elements, bits and baubles to energize his ambitions as a shinobi. He wouldn't go to the Kogarashi -- at least not yet.
He didn't need to go anywhere. But all of this? All of the entertainment? The comrades?
They did little to fill the hole that gaped in his vessel. He longed to be free, and now that he had gained everything he needed from Uzushiogakure, it was time to leave. He held no sorrow for the people he would be leaving behind -- nor any desire for penance. The only genuine thing he truly left was a whisper in Sumiko's ear as his final clone collapsed . . . the one person he truly liked in the village.
"West," he said. "Gimangakure."
Or perhaps Jun would recall the words on the slip of paper. Remember my words fondly. Wherever he went, the truth was somewhere within several, colliding lines, all to meet together as one.
It all happened so quickly. Sumiko almost didn't have time to process it all. One moment she was with Shinsei and his clones chasing down the group of ruffians. In the next, she was surrounded by shards of wood and sawdust. What she thought was the real Shinsei began to fall apart in front of her as she reached out to grab him. His body crumbled away in her arms as it whispered into her ears.
Gimangakure. West.
"Shinsei, wha..." she said as the last clone fell apart. He was leaving after all. Tears began to stream down Sumiko's face as she fell to her knees. She clenched her fists and pounded them on the hard ground and on the piles of dust that remained of Shinsei's clones. Where had it all gone wrong? Hadn't she done everything possible to make him feel like he belonged? Hadn't she been a friend to him? Had she really meant anything to him deep down.
Sumiko clutched one of the small slivers of wood that remained, holding it tightly in her hand. It was gnarled and rotten, almost black in color. Maybe that darkness had allways been his true nature. Maybe he would have never felt like he belonged. Sumiko put the small piece of wood in her pocket. She struggled to her feet, wiping the tears from her face. She stood there in the alleyway for what seemed like hours, gathering herself. Attempting in vain to regain her composure. Her face was red, and try as she might, the tears kept streaming down.
Gimangakure. West.
There it was again. That place. Those rogues. They really had gotten through to Shinsei after all. How much of it had been an act? Had he always been working with them? No. He couldn't have faked all they had been through. All the missions. The graduation exam. Those had been real, Sumiko knew they had to be. But why had he left?
Sumiko reached into her pocket, grasping the small fragment of wood. Idiot. Idiot. Tattekuso.
Sumiko took off out of the alleyway, running as fast as he legs could carry her. She ran past shops and people, not even trying to avoid. She bounced between people as she ran. With the Academy in sight, Sumiko slid to halt. Maybe Shinsei had been joking. Maybe she would walk into the Academy and find him standing there, gloating about how he had fooled her. That feeling vanished when she saw Chie and the mystery woman standing in front of their own clone of Shinsei who had also crumbled away. Sumiko made for Chie, half falling forward, half running.
"Shinsei..." she started, reaching into her pocket to clutch the small sliver of wood. Sumiko looked at the pile left from Shinsei's clone and then at Chie, tears still glistening on her cheeks. "He's gone."
αKya was mere seconds from replying to him when another joined their presence. Eyes softened upon seeing Chie, the one whom Kya had at one time had to scold immediately following the exit of the old Academy. One who had seen her in combat when her hair was so different, her whole demeanor less... imposing. The tattoos spanning her form from neck to knee, easily visible in her barely modest clothing being the first difference, the sharp pointed fangs another... red lines in her face still more. A smile graced Kya. "I am quite glad to see you Chie. I've missed you in our time apart-" she was cut off, forced to look away from the woman who had seemed to blossom before her and furrow her brow as the clone before her began to wither away, as the chakra within it faded. Concerned, she looked to where the girl had been previously. He was no longer there, and as her eyes scanned the area, another distraction caught her before she could actually see where he got off to.
A crying girl. She looked to Chie, the girl calling her name, then looked back over her form. Something familiar? But... not like an old friend.
Like a piece of energy from the void reborn?
Come to think of it... shinsei bore a resemblance to-
She shook her head.
"What do you mean gone... who is this Chie?" Kya asked watching the final ashes of the boy floated away into the wind, crumbled dust as withered as what she imagined his chakra network to do to things when she had analyzed it.

"Temper temper. Hammer it home." "Temper temper. Hammer it home."
Koutetsu approached the academy, heading directly to one of the outdoor training areas. He knew he was a bit behind and wanted to learn all he could. As he approached an empty training lot, He thought about what he wanted to work on. I was surprised to hear about an elemental affinity for Suiton in addition to Doton. Perhaps I should start there... but then again Doton is related to Koton. Settling on Doton for its more obvious advantages, Koutetsu began working.
Sending his chakra into the earth beneath his feet, he began forming an outline of himself. Running through a quick set of Hand seals ending in Ram, Koutetsu spoke, "Doton Bunshin no Jutsu." from the ground rose a copy of the young man, but as it formed the ground seemed to darken and glint in the sun. Looking at the clone, Koutetsu admired his handiwork, "You look dependable. Alright, lets try some target practice. Stay still for a moment." The clone nodded slowly in acknowledgement.
Koutetsu stepped back and took a deep breath. Reaching out his awareness, he channeled chakra to a small pile of rocks. As they rose in the air, they seemed to turn black before launching toward the clone where they crashed against its body with all the force of a kitten cuddling up to a tiger. A clinking sound of steel on steel could be heard before the rocks fell to the floor rolling off the clone.
"Forge the weapon worth wielding." "Forge the weapon worth wielding."
Smiling, as it was a bit of humorous sight, Koutetsu began forming more handseals. As he finished, he thrust his hands into the ground forming two metallic bracers on his arms. "Ishi Yoroi no Ude!" he said proudly, before speaking to the clone, "care for a short spar?" Sinking into a stance, Koutetsu glanced at the bracers wondering how well they might hold up.
The clone nodded, before settling in a stance. They moved towards each other. The clone immediately swung both fists in a combination towards the original's head. Koutetsu grunted as he blocked with the bracers. Stepping across his body, he spun sending a back fist towards the clone. The clone tried to block but the force was too great and it broke apart along with the bracers which had struck it first. Watching both techniques crumble, Koutetsu thought to himself, well, that was fun while it lasted.

For once Jun was at a total loss for words. Some rando just popped up out of nowhere and spoke on his opinion of her. It was a nice thing for him to say but that guy had more theatricality in one pinky than most people had in all of their bones. The whole sequence was strange. She watched him fall backward as a bunch more of his chakra signatures went running all around. A wood clone, the guy was a Senju just like Ezra. For a moment she sidetracked in her brain, wondering if the two clansmen knew each other.
"Wait, I never even got your-" Shinsei's clone collapsed into broken pieces of wood, his extended hand the last piece to go. Jun plucked the tablet from him before the brunt of the splinters shot out and upward.
64.01.18.86.23.
Jun looked down at the tablet with a single eyebrow raised. Usually her hallucinations were a bit more streamlined and less dramatic. But this piece of wood definitely felt pretty real in her hand. She gave a test kick out to the shards and felt the real impact as they scattered from the blow.
"Remember my own words...I can hardly remember what I had for breakfast." Jun muttered to herself as she stuffed the small piece of wood with random numbers on it in to one of her pouches.
Just when things were getting interesting the guy had up and split into clones and then into scrap wood. So random. Jun stood there for a moment waiting for the wood to reassemble itself and for the guy to be all 'Surprise! That was just a thing I like to do to new people I meet, I'm not always so cryptic and I don't always make such sensational exits.' It didn't happen.
Jun eventually got bored and realized that she was sensing two of her favorite people standing next to each other. A smirk spread across Jun's face as she sauntered over to their auras and popped in to the room.
"Kya, Chie! What are you two gals doing here? Isn't this place for low-level students anyway?"
She was more than ecstatic to see some old friends, especially after that strange display she bore witness to. Jun, as her usual uncaring self for previous conversation or tense situations, inserted herself in to the scene and gave Kya a warm hug. She held up a hand as if to separate them from the rest of the conversations and spoke quietly.
β’ Jun can use the movement of her lips in place of hand seals to cast abilities.

"Temper temper. Hammer it home." "Temper temper. Hammer it home."
Koutetsu moved on to Suiton, now that he had a decent grasp of Doton. He looked around and spotted a few targets for jutsu practice. Going over what he had learned about Suiton in his head, he began forming handseals for one of the starter techniques. His Cheeks puffed out as water formed in his mouth, before he spit a stream at one of the targets. He continued spitting four more streams, each hitting a separate target. "Suiton: Uo Tsuba," he said taking a breath in. He knew he would have to work on targeting later, but for now there was enough moisture to work on two other jutsu.
Koutetsu moved to one of the targets. Bending down, he dipped his fingers into the small puddle left behind from his previous technique. Flicking his finger he sent droplets towards the target. Again and again he repeated the process until he could do it accurately.
Looking at the puddle and seeing his reflection in it, reminded him of a jutsu that was more utility rather than an atttack. He formed the necessary handseals, and a glob of water formed into a small, rectangular shape. "Mizu Kagami no Jutsu," he muttered looking into the aquatic mirror. Koutetsu moved the mirror around as he examined the surroundings in the reflection.
"Forge the weapon worth wielding." "Forge the weapon worth wielding."

Chie rose as Kya spoke to her. Her voice was just as radiant as she remembered. Her beauty knew of no boundaries. Chie was stunned until the piece of Shinsei, which was apparently not his true form, started to disburse into rotten wood. Her eyes gazed curiously at the display. That was a unique attribute. Usually the Senju clan was all about life, and yet she felt the opposite from such a technique. Chie was stunned momentarily by this. And then Sumika showed up. The girl's face was already blurred by tears and her body language was shaken. Instinctively Chie raised her up arms and took the crying girl into her embrace. A gentle hand brushed Sumiko's red hair as she tried to soothe her. It was then that Kya spoke up.
"Her name is Sumiko. She's a recent graduate of the academy." Chie said as she turned her stare from the girl to her mentor. "After graduation she partnered herself with Shin-" Her mouth hung open as the realization took her.
"Chie,"
"The rogue just tried to recruit me to join his organization. I believe he wants to overthrow the Daimyo."
"Shinsei..."
"He's gone."
Her grip tightened around the girl, almost to the point of a bear hug. She gritted her teeth as though she was in pain. Kya's sharingan eyes would see Chie's chakra flare wildly as it swirled like an ocean inside of her. She was angry. No, she was furious. Her brother did this. He stole from her the only thing in her life that she could cling onto to. He stole something from her that could not be repaid. He stole the innocence of her students. There was no forgiveness for this crime. There was no mercy left within her heart. There was only rage.
"Kya. A rogue organization by the name of Kogarashi came to the village of Uzushiogakure. They originally came to steal village secrets from me because their leader..." Chie paused. This was a betrayal to everything she was raised to believe in. Her entire childhood was formulated on the belief that one never turn their back on family. However, she needed to do this. She was a ninja of Uzushiogakure. She needed to speak up now. "Is my half brother, Takumi Saegahara. He thought that he could convince me to provide him with village secrets. I refused, however, and as retaliation he tried to recruit the student Shunsei Sanada to his rogue organization. Shinsei initially told me of this, but I fear now that the temptation of the rogue life caused him to leave Uzushiogakure."
Chie lightened her grip. She didn't' want to scare Sumiko any further than she was now. "I made Vortex aware of the rogue organization the moment Shinsei informed me, and had a group of the academy students inform the Uzukage. They were in the pursuit of a ninja who apparently was left behind by the group. No vortex operatives have returned to me, however, in regards to the successful capturing of this ninja." Chie sighed. "The operatives did inform me that the rogue's presence was at the village dojo. I doubt he's still there, however."
Chie looked deep into Kya's eyes. "I can't leave the academy without Kage permission. Too many ninja rely on me for their training. However, I fear that if Shinsei grows too strong away from the academy, then he'll allow that temptation that rogue group planted inside of him to blossom into a legitimate threat of the village. I have seen his capacities as an academy student and his ability to learn ninjutsu was almost prodigy level. He was able to learn ninjutsu that he wasn't even within the proximity of at the same speed as a ninja who saw the display first hand. You must do something."
"Please."
Chie's plea came deep within her heart. Her eyes were soft, and there was pain in her expression. She felt guilt for this. She didn't know what she could have done better, but there had to have been something. This was her student. How did she not realize the evil of her brother coiled around her student's throat? She felt shame at her family's legacy. A Saegahara was using that name to promote evil into the world. This was just as much of a betrayal as Chie admitting the name of her brother to her commanding officer.
And then Jun came. Chie was so wrapped in her emotions that she had a bit of a mood whiplash to see the cheerfully aloof girl appear out of no where. She looked virtually no different from the last time they worked on a mission together. "Jun?" She asked as the girl hugged Kya. "What are you doing here? And where's your headband?" She asked. Did she not get one from the transfer to Uzushiogakure from Konoha? It was not equating to her that Jun had been working as an academy student. "Regardless. Get a headband please from my classroom desk drawer. It would be shameful for people to think that you were a rogue." She said as her face became solemn. The word rogue became much more prominent in her life. Not only because her brother was one, but now because she lost a student to it.

_β [ Rank A ] Hard Physical (roundhouse kick) ____β _β [ Rank A ] Hard Physical (Elbow) ____β ____β _β [ Rank ] ____β Description Goes Here
Technique(s) Active:
_β [ Rank ] Shadow Clone ____β At the Academy _β [ Rank ] ____β _β [ Rank ] ____β
All jutsu learned are available to teach.
PassiveEffects: _β Korabo S-ranked ___β Able to use Korabo up to A-ranked with herself. _β Electric Resistance Training ___β Negates harm from own lightning ninjutsu _β Ninjutsu Alchemy ___β This technique allows Chie to passively Korabo two jutsu together. The limitations of this are as such. First of all, the technique works passively only up to one rank below Chie's current Korabo level. This means that if Chie's Korabo level is A-ranked then it can only be used at a B-ranked potential, which means that Chie can only Korabo two B-ranked techniques to use the korabo skill at A-ranked. This assures that this benefit does not allow the user to passively perform techniques one rank higher than they can usually. Second of all, this technique only applies when Chie korabo's with herself. If she korabos with an ally or a clone then this benefit is non-applicable. Finally, an additional charge of 10 chakra per rank of the final product technique is required to be paid. So if the user Korabo two B-ranked techniques, (the user must also pay for each individual skill), then the final technique would be an A-ranked skill, and thus would cost 50 more chakra to perform this way. Overall this technique's only purpose is to make Chie more cool by utilizing all of her elements and having them combine into super cool ways like a wizard should. _β Hidden Mist Vision ___β Sees clearly during hidden mist technique, or mist in general. _β Fire Resistance Training ___β Negates harm from own fire ninjutsu _β True Belief ___β The user has meditated and trained long enough in this monk art to understand how important true belief is. By understanding the power of the spirit over the mind, and the mind over the body, the user has increased their stamina by sheer will power alone, as well as increased their toughness and durability. Increases Stamina by +25 for every style mastered. _β Enlightenment ___β Meditation and spiritual exploration and understand yields interesting results. Due to the greater understanding of the self, the user is more aware of the connection between their mind, body and spirit, and how to utilize that connection. The user is now slightly more skilled at just about everything. Striking, blocking, moving, absorbing, and taking damage. The user's strength and fortitude is increased heavily. _β Impact Resistance ___β The user acclimates to using the cestus in a battle setting by pounding away at a training dummy with the cestus. By analyzing the feedback of different forms of strikes, the user finds a way to minimize any damage they may take from their own strikes. Upon completing this training, the user suffers no recoil damage from techniques from any non-Rigorous Taijutsu or Bukijutsu Style up to either the highest trained rank in this Style or the highest trained rank in the Hard Physical Formless Style, whichever is lower, and does not suffer damage from striking anything harder than their fists. _β Focal Point ___β The user meditates through combat, taking time to narrow their focus to their Chakra pathways. In so doing, they become innately aware of when they are being observed in combat, and can pinpoint the locations of anyone below their rank observing them within one meter. _β Thread Walking ___β By using Chakra to focus the mind, the user becomes able to balance enough on thin platforms to use Bukijutsu techniques without any penalties. Covers only balancing on solid structures at least one inch wide, not moving or unstable structures. Also allows the user to balance and move on wires during its activation. _β Advanced Thread Walking ___β he user is now able to both run and fight while balancing on threads and wires without penalties, though doing these things at the same time is widely regarded as infeasible. _β Blessed Rain ___β The user's informed of the incoming costs of what is to come, and as such, must practice their chakra control through controlled bursts from various parts of their body. Their chakra pool is increased by +35. _β Insight Rain ___β The user will practice extending themselves into the atmosphere, in a sense. After much dedication, the user develops the ability to sense hostile intent in the immediate area. As to where, however, they cannot be sure. _β Torrential Blessings ___β Having completed all that the user may learn, they have but one task left to complete: the user must practice controlling the flow of chakra, and be sure that their control is the finest that it can be. By doing so, they must repeat the exercise performed earlier with Blessed Rain, all the while, they perform technique to the brink of exhaustion. This training receives no reductions. Chakra pool is increased by +65. _β The Task of the Next Generation ___β Upon the master of the school of Shigure Souen Ryu, it's the user's responsibility to develop the next generation! The user is granted one [1] custom slot usable only for a personal Shigure Souen technique.
There was something... calming in Chie's embrace. For a brief moment, worry and fear began to melt away. Her grip was tight but not overbearing. It felt safe. It felt like there was nothing in the world that could separate the two of them in that moment. Through it all, Sumiko knew that Chie was in pain too. She needed the hug as much as Sumiko did. While Shinsei had been her friend, he had also been one of Chie's students.
Sumiko listened as Chie talked back and forth with Kya, toning most of it out. She couldn't think right now. Even more so, she didn't want to hear them talk about the rogues and about Shinsei. Every time they mentioned his name was painful.
It wasn't till Chie asked Kya to help that Sumiko finally separated herself from Chie. She wiped her face dry and tried to stand up straight. For the first time, she realized just how shaken she had become. Her legs felt weak and her stomach was filled with butterflies. Nevertheless, she looked Kya straight in the face as she spoke. "If you're going after Shinsei, I want to come along. I know him better than anyone. I can't just let him leave, not without trying to stop him. Please." Just as with Chie, she was pleading with Kya to do something. Anything.

αA certain mythical heat took root in Kyas gullet, causing smoke to rise from her nostrils like that of an angry dragon. Sumiko was a recent graduate, huh? That would explain why she didn't know her or how much Kya truly hated seeing people cry. Frustratuon began to join into the rising flame within her at the very moment that the name Kogarashi was mentioned. Not only did Jya not know that Chie have a sibling... she did not know he was someome whom would have posed a threat. Two possibilities came to mind: these kogarashi were in concert with the weak willed daimyo and his army of sycophants or they were simply planning their ow. Insurrection. Either way... more enemies with a new name. She was visibly angered beyond the smoke in her nose. Her face became a narrow storm of anger as she considered things.
Hate wasn't the source of her strength. It was love.
She had plenty of both.
At the womans request kya curled the serpentine tongue in her mouth insivible to the world for a few seconds. So much to consider. "Everytime I stop to breathe... yes I will handle this. You should-" She found herself cut off by a hug from Jun, cutting her way into the clearly serious conversation in a way that only someone like her would. NaKya angrily wrenched herself free and shoved the girl with one strong, angry arm towards Chie. "Not the time, girl." she sharply chided before finishing her statement. "Your brother Takumi... he will be met with no mercy from me. My god demands consequence for action and he will have his own meted out according to his own decisions. I will set my serpents about hunting for him." Her sharingan flashed Azure when Sumiko asked to join up, and Kya sized her up. "If your goal is to save him through words or emotional sway you eill find no aid from me. My goal is to lead the wild hunt and crush him and this... Kogarashi. His life hangs in the balance of his own accord, and his own decisions when I find him will decide his fate. Will you be.... a liability?" she asked incredibly directly.

Jun frowned at Kya's denial of her friendship. It had been a long time, again, since they had seen each other and that reception wasn't exactly what Jun had in mind upon seeing her old friend. Maybe the time and distance had actually weighed heavily on their relationship and strained it. She had always thought theirs was a tighter bond than that. Jun might be wrong.
"Shinsei was his name? That's who you are looking for?"
Kya talked over her anyway, addressing only Chie and Sumiko. Jun found herself at a crossroads of moral choices. Before there would have been no hesitation in giving up the information she had. Jun was now aware of the seriousness of the moment, but now she didn't know where she stood in this all. Not only did she have practically the literal address where he would be, she also was familiar with that chakra signature. It wouldn't be hard to pick out of a crowd. Jun just didn't know if she wanted to go anymore.
With the world constantly in upheaval she had been under the impression that you always make time for those who you call friends. Now instead of thinking about Kogarashi and rogues and Shinsei and what defection actually meant she was stuck replaying old memories of Kya and her as children. They were friends back then, what had happened in between those hazy, summer time remembrances and now? It was making Jun feel strange. Quietly she spoke, initially reaching out to the new, distant, powerful Kya before stopping herself and letting her hand fall down to her side.
"I can help as well, if you want." The offer was on the table at least, in honor of those two little girls who used to have so much fun together.
With that Jun excused herself from the conversation and searched four desks before finding Chie's. Her fingers blindly brushed the cold metal stamped with the whirlpool symbol. It felt foreign, as much of a stranger as Kya was to her now. Nevertheless, Jun picked up the headband and shuffled back over, keeping a small distance and staring out to the side. She had that look again, her glazed over and half-lidded signature gaze.
β’ Jun can use the movement of her lips in place of hand seals to cast abilities.
β Inception: With Genjutsu, realism and the sensory ability of the target factor heavily into the ability of the victim to realize they are in a genjutsu. With practice and discipline, the shinobi may select one [1] genjutsu Sense that may be added as a Secondary sense to any technique, as well as choose one Sense of Choice that will forever cost one [1] rank less in cost as long as the casted genjutsu's primary sense is the chosen sense. Once these two [2] choices are made, they cannot be switched, so choose wisely. [Sound] []
β Resolution: You are more determined to get fine details from your sensory techniques, but in order to get this type of clarity the range of your techniques is reduced by half. You are able to discover the type of technique that is about to be active (Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, etc.), even specifics such as Bloodline type and rank. At body ranks D and C users of this discipline able to sense their enemyβs ninjutsu attacks and their composition, which grants a -1 rank deduction to dodging with the dodge mechanic X-ranked skill if you know the technique that was used. This only works for techniques which originate within the sensory area of the user.

A man in a mask suddenly appeared next to Chie, he coughed once to announce his presence and then spoke quickly. "Chie Saegahara, your presence is requested at the Uzukage's ofice." With his peace said, the V-nin vanished within a cloud of smoke.
Chie nodded with Kya's statement. "Thank you." She said in regards to taking care of Takumi. He was going to have to pay for his crimes of attacking her students with his cruel words. She turned to Sumiko who offered to go with her. "Sumiko, my child." Chie said as she brought her to arm's length so that the two could comfortably make eye contact. It may seem odd to an outsider that this young adult was calling someone maybe five years younger her kid, but to Chie, she was there fore her journey. She was there through the Chad, and trials, and the uncertainty of what it means to be a genin. "I think you should stay here. If it gets violent, it could ruin you." Chie said it to Sumiko, but in reality she meant it for herself. She was not ready to have one of her students die on her again. Especially because it was someone who she knew had good within him. When the vortex operative approached, Chie became solemn. She looked at the man, heard his message, and nodded. "It looks like I have to go." She said as she recalled that she had a shadow clone left at the academy. It didn't disburse the last time she left, so hopefully it'll stay around when she had to go. "Kya." Chie said with no hint of remorse. "Good luck." She said before she disappeared. Her fingers gently brushed off of Sumiko as she disappeared into a body flicker.
