All pasta is just SO GOOD
User Image

I like spaghetti and lasagne but anything else I'm not so keen on.

Too many years of being force fed disgusting ravioli at junior school xp They put tinned ravioli with EVERYTHING!
Really???? Wow D:
They over-fed us hotdogs at mine x.x
I think ravioli is one of my least favorite of pastas, that sucks butt :c

I'm ancient. I don't think anyone had invented hotdogs when I was at school xd

There was mystery meat in breadcrumbs and mashed potatoes (lumpy) and soggy ravioli in bright orange sauce literally everyday!

Dessert was always good though. Love school custard blaugh

I think it all came pre-cooked and then the crazy dinner ladies boiled it to the point where it retained its shape until you put a fork in in then it disintegrated into mush.

Everything tasted of powder.

I pack lunches for my kids xd

Old enough to know better xd And probably substantially older than anyone else in here. I'm still young on the inside though. lol, put it this way, more than a decade ago I posted about how old I was in a thread with people who I had been chatting to for weeks; I got abuse from the little snots posting in there for being a '*****'. Needless to say I don't give out my actual age anymore. I get the feeling that lots of Gains have grown up here and now they're getting 'old' so it doesn't seem to be so much of an issue anymore but, well, I don't know. Sorry for the essay wink

Kids are great but they're hard work. I've got 3, any 2 at once is fine but all together it's like one long argument all day! My neighbour has borrowed one to go shopping this afternoon so I've got a rare bit of weekend peace!

My dad's an acupuncturist and he specialises in helping couples have babies smile With needles. Just to clarify. OMG it sounds so wrong when you type it rofl I hope you know what I meant.

I need more coffee!

WOW. Some people don't realize one day they will be "old" I guess. lol
No worries! cx
Oh my goodness, what a handful!!! emotion_kirakira
LOL that's awesome. Bless neighbors, right?
I know what you mean though! Never heard of it working for that, though. But then I never have known anyone who goes to one, either(acupuncturist, that is)!
Does it work at all for women with PCOS? I guess my issue is my eggs don't always form, or they don't get released and either way they just kinda hang out there >.>

You're only as old as you feel and on the grand scale of things I'm not really ancient. Just not a teenager anymore.

Totally, but it keeps me fit xd And a bit insane.

Yes! It does work. My sister has the same thing and she goes to my dad for a treatment every month or so. It works wonders for her mood swings (which according to her she doesn't get but for the rest of us it's a blessed relief when my dad stabs her for a bit!) and her acne and all the other nasty little symptoms that go along with it. The docs told her she'd never have babies. She's got 2 beautiful little boys now smile Same thing with my cousins wife; bump on the way! He has a whole photo album full of all the babies he's helped to make and lots of the ladies he sees have been diagnosed with PCOS. It's definitely worth a try; just be sure to find someone who is properly certified and accredited 3nodding

AWESOME. Sorry if this is turning into a weird Q&A, but are there any red flags to be on the lookout for, and what certifications are realdeal? o:

LOL not at all smile I know what a horrid thing it is to deal with.

If you PM me where you are I'll phone my dad later (he'll be out at work for a while yet) and find out what specific things to look for where you are. I think the certification is different in different countries.

It's not a miracle cure. Dad always likes to remind me that it is a complementary medicine; so if you're seeing the doctor consult them first! Most doctors now are starting to see the benefits of it and usually have someone they can recommend. If not then the best place to start looking is usually a local health centre or health food shop.

I love that you're so diplomatic with your info/inclusive! I always keep in mind nothing is a miracle cure, but it's always scary/weird when someone tries to act like something IS, you know?
back to general chatter though, I suppose? cx

Yes, I do! i'm completely addicted to The Walking Dead but other than that I don't get a look in at the TV. 3 kids = Disney channel 24/7. I'll read just about anything, My absolute favourites are Terry Pratchett and Scott Lynch though. I love Partick Rothfuss too but if he doesn't publish his third book soon I'm going to have a ceremonial burning in the back yard!
How about you?

And yup. Coffee, hot, black no sugar and in a LARGE size mug. Or Prosecco. But apparently it's not acceptable to have that for breakfast :/

It's the drink of champions until you get to the third glass and then it's the drink of laughing a lot and falling over.

Terry Pratchett is good if you want a laugh; dry humour combined with lots of crazy. His witches books are fantastic! Scott Lynch is a genius; his characters are amazing. Still not a patch on Rothfuss though. Although I kind of like a story to finish at some point; I think waiting 10 years for a conclusion is a bit much *pokes him with a stick* I think he must be off drinking prosecco with George Martin.
I like a good mystery but I usually suss the plot out after the second chapter. I'm still looking for a good author to keep my brain interested. Have you read any James Herbert?

I have not!!! But i absolutely adore finding new authors and I'm legit excited now emotion_kirakira what is he like as one? o:
I have the same problem with a lot of mystery stuff myself :c seems like silly shock twists are all that catch me off guard now, and even then it's more of a "OH wow didn't think we'd... go here....oh..." instead of a scared or interested offguard :/
