Stacy was a little worried that she wouldn't be able to hear Maddy without speaker on, though she was immediately proven wrong. "Umm, yeah. I'm off work. I'm in a taxi right now... So, you mentioned a bachelorette party, right?"

"Yes I did. The maid of honor is supposed to organize it. I thought I'd bring it up in case you forgot. Now, what do you think we should do? I say we avoid going to Las Vegas, because of that movie The Hangover. Sure we won't ruffie ourselves but you never know."

"Can you slow down a little?", Stacy asked as she massaged a headache, "You're saying too much at once." "How about we start with one thing at a time? You mentioned location, right? I just thought we'd throw it at Samantha's place. It's the perfect place for a party, lots of rooms, fancy decor, and we don't have to waste money on travel costs... Well, Samantha and I won't anyway."

Stacy responded to Maddy. "That sounds like a great idea. But let's see... What could I do to keep her busy? Wait a minute! If Samantha has work that day, then she'll be plenty of busy! We can throw her the party when she comes home!" "We'd just need to find a day when I'm not working, but she is. Think I should call her about it later?"

Stacy could have sighed with relief. For once, she was glad to have the phone off of speaker. The taxi driver most likely couldn't hear Maddy, and most likely didn't hear her mention strippers. Stacy just had to make sure she didn't make things awkward by saying the "S" word on her line. "The cake? Oh yeah, that's something to think about. I guess if the cake's huge enough, we could fit one in. Really depends on how many people we invite. Know anyone that you're bringing along? I don't think I can convince any of my coworkers to show up." In the back of her mind, she was trying to remember what Samantha's favorite cake flavor was. She had known at one point, having attended several of her birthday parties, but that knowledge had been since buried. If she could unearth it, she could tell it to Maddy. [Can you tell me what her favorite cake flavor is? As a good friend of Samantha's, Stacy probably has this knowledge, but I myself don't.]

[Her favorite flavor will be blackberry. The cake and frosting have to be blackberry. My favorite flavor is strawberry. What is yours?] "A guest list? I can invite some of her coworkers, female ones. Oh and Stephanie! She has to come too. She might sleep with one of the strippers though. She's done that before." Maddy was taking notes and writing a few names down to start with, "I don't think we should invite her mother. Bad idea. Oh yeah what is her favorite color?" [Since she loves yellow roses, she loves the color yellow]

Her favorite colour? Yeah, that would have to be yellow. What do you plan to do with that info? Are we gonna put up yellow decorations?"

Stacy furled her brow over the phone. She was somewhat disturbed to hear that last thing Maddy had mentioned. "Well... You have any idea of how many guests you're going to invite? If you have an estimated number, we can prepare the cake, and... amount of... 'guys'."

"Friday?", Stacy said, slightly frustrated, "But I haven't even asked Samantha about her work schedule. You haven't asked her yet either. For all we know, she could be going on vacation this Friday." She knew Maddy was a bit out there, but she also seemed rather forgetful of what they had just discussed a moment ago. Stacy immediately lowered her voice a little. She tried to sound calmer. "I can call her about it when she gets home. Other than that, do we have anything else we need to address?"

We can't have just cake you know. Maybe some dishes she likes? I heard she likes lasagna. Anything else?" [You can choose the fav foods, it doesn't matter to me. Make something up.]
