"A pleasure, Lady Drosselmeyer." As a gentleman, he would still bow, as she was a friend, and he had no reason to suspect otherwise. Names, unfortunately, had their own connotation, but Hisoka was inclined to think that Lord Titanus had his reasons to trust this woman. Besides this, it was his understanding that the name gained its reputation on the back of one man in particular, who was dead. The backlash had been seen to, and it was not Hisoka's business to judge or to be executioner.
Having been invited to follow, he did so, allowing the troops he trained to continue with their drills. They were under the watch and care of someone who was below him in station, yet who carried his job well. He did his teacher proud to remain so true to the drills that Hisoka had taught. In truth, their energy and determination made him very proud. He struggled not to let it overwhelm him when he stopped to think about it.
Along the way, the lady asked another question. He wasn't expecting to be asked this. "I am, my lady. I hail as a night from Kaishin, and am proud to be a knight of the baroness."

The stables were a pleasant walk from the estate and the training grounds, seeming to be placed there so as to maximise their usage among those who would need them first. The fastest birds he could find were collected here. Not all of these were phoenixes, but it was a safe bet that all of these creatures would leave even the famed speed of the count in their dust. Bernard, ahead of the others, could see the top of the stable cresting the hill under their feet. He turned halfway back to them and answered simply, "I do not have the fortune to know flight by my own wings."
His head turned back to the path before them as if to gesture, to signal that their walk was coming to an end. The stables themselves were maintained, it seemed, by a short staff who worked long hours and were lost in the aura created by the some two dozen winged messengers. The head bulter stopped short of the entrance and turned to face the others, holding a soft palm under the perch of a hawk--mainly to explain to Esther.
"These are the birds. Some of these are phoenix, but you must be careful not to distract them too much, for they have so much to remember..."
"You may give your message to one of these handlers. They will see to it that your note is delivered quickly and safely." Bernard bowed quickly and excused himself. There was still so much to do!

She had the answers to her asked questions and it was interesting. She didn't know Bernard was human but it made sense. It was these people, the one suddenly made human, that were considered the warning signs that her family shouldn't have been in power; Or so saith the priesthood of other kingdoms. The strange thing about it was that in the pit of her stomach she felt that maybe this was true because of her tendencies. She did take a certain enjoyment it hurting things. Hurting or enforcing authority over lesser beings, or really anything that had to do with asserting a little violence was what brought a real smile out the lovey ladies fine pink lips.
While she did feel a slight sense of pity for Bernard, not knowing what freedom there is in one's own ability of flight, nor the brisk brushing of high speed winds between one's feathers, she wasn't wasn't surprised to know that the knight from Kaishin was a phoenix. She, being a dragon, always had this natural animosity for his kind and even now as she gaze at him she thought of the man as she sees Roland; A hatred there for regal birdbrains and pompous feathered bastards.
"Thank you Bernard. I'll try to be mindful of the birds when sending messages." With he now gone is was just her and the bird knight; An interesting letter having been seen by the princess' eyes. "Oh, What have we here?" A letter sealed by the empress' seal was a deal too much for her to ignore. So with her hands she summons the arcana cards The Wheel of Fortune and Temperance from her chest to grant her abilities for a short amount of time. Through the card of Fortune a small knife was summoned out the card, quickly materializing as if a god had sent it through a portal, while the other card, Temperance, granted Esther the ability to use telekinesis; Her mind holding the letter in the air while the knife acted as if possessed and ever so carefully cut the seal just right, allow it to be resealed when she was done snooping.
"It appears my dear little sister must have spoken about my presence here. My cousin, the empress, wishes to see my presents for it is requested at the Lionis Palace at my earliest convenience." A light mocking tone from the lady as she has the letter floating around her as she reads all the messages. "Oh, this goes without saying but you didn't see me do any of this." Summoning one more card Esther calls upon The Magician to grant her powers of fire which she uses to create a tiny flame upon the tip of her pinky to reheat the wax and seal the letter once more; Her telekinesis ensuring that no fingerprints were left on it.
After that she grabbed her own paper to begin writing a message to Evelyn and perhaps her baby sister too. "Do you have any siblings, Hisoka?"
