July 2018 Math Prompt "Today we're going to work on some worksheets for counting" Rules: Count the things on this worksheet and fill it out. Post it in thread along with your rp.
Post a small RP response in thread with how your student felt about the assignment. Ezekiel liked to skip math. There were too many numbers. And even though it was easy, straight forward, it was almost too easy. He knew how to count. He had to know how to count. The caretakers wouldn't be able to live it down if he didn't know. But he couldn't get out of class today. Unfortunately. He whipped up a few of the numbers on the worksheet before passing it in. Maybe, since he finished so early, he'd be able to go back to his dorm.

Post a small RP response in thread with how your student felt about the assignment. Kean had almost fallen asleep before starting the assignment. Simple subtraction with decimals? Bor-ing! Really, why did he have to practice this stuff anyway when calculators had been invented. Really, he didn't even want to go into any math-related fields for a job and anything that would involve math at his job would probably be able to be done by a calculator, so what was the point? Sometimes, his brain just felt like shutting down looking at numbers and trying to process them. Somehow he had managed to power through the worksheet though, and sluggishly handed it over to the teacher, ready to bolt outside of the classroom when he was finally allowed.

Lailah easily breezed through the problems on the sheet, but whether she actually retained any of the information she had just practiced was another question. It was all easy enough, and even she was a bit insulted that the worksheets were so easy, but she supposed that they had to use this part of their brain somehow. Whichever part that was. Was math stored in part of the brain? What about people who were really good at numbers? How did their brains look... She shook her head, trying to get rid of the distracting thoughts. She didn't want to waste too much time on it, and quickly handed the sheet to the teacher as soon as she was done with it, happily going back to read the book that she had brought with her.

Post a small RP response in thread with how your student felt about the assignment. worksheet Jin always liked more easy days when their wasn't a hard assignment because it gave more time for people studying. Her parents were pretty studious and Jin did like reading so learning wasn't that bad. Plus she didn't really like to talk so to make sure she was able to get what she wanted out, she had to be good at school. So she easily completed the worksheet and turned it in. Now she had time to look around the classroom and make notes about interesting things they did.

Post a small RP response in thread with how your student felt about the assignment. junior worksheetMath never bothered Leto. Especially since the accident, words and numbers kind of comforted him. You didn't need to hear them to understand them. Still Leto was never really that comfortable with decimals so he struggled a bit with his answers, and then double checked them just to be on the safe side. When the numbers added up to the same amount again, he let out a small smile. It was good enough to turn in. So he got up and quickly did so making sure to take his seat again. He was still getting used to talking to others again and really was only talking to Vega and his family.

As her assignment was passed to her, she looked to if with a frown. She wished it was harder since she already knew how to count. Looking over the sheet, she took her time to write in the answers. Once she was done, she turned the paper over and doodled a little bit as she waited for someone else to finish up their worksheet... being first was just weird and she didn't what the other students to tease her or something; not that she was teased anyways.

School was so overstimulating or maybe it was because he has so many other siblings that he had a hard time sleeping. He missed his sister that had passed away and he was still very much mourning and grieving her. Taking a marker in his claws, the grimm started to carefully count and write down the answers. It was easier enough since his teacher had been super good at teaching him numbers and counting. Not to mention that it was a nice little break from all the other stuff he had to do in his other classes. So many classes.... and there are only going to be more. He pouted a bit as he laid his head down on the desk, maybe just a quick nap.

Post a small RP response in thread with how your student felt about the assignment. Khiran rubbed the back of his neck as his teacher handed out their next assignment. Ugh, decimals. To be fair, Khiran was not exactly the best of friends with math. Dyslexia didn't only affect his reading and writing but the numbers got all messed up too... and it wasn't until recently that he had found out that dyslexia was even a thing. Sighing, he began working on the sheet. He tried his best to focus and hoped that it was all correct. His mom wasn't too thrilled that his grades had been slipping recently. It wasn't like he didn't try! He showed up everyday and did his homework.. just... He felt like he sucked at everything.

It looked like everyone was working on a worksheet. Crap. Okay, he'd need to asked the teacher for one and explain that he had been helping one of the freshlings look for their homework and he lost track of time. He dug through his bag and pulled out his pencil, seeing the worksheet on his desk and his teacher moving back to their desk. Oh. Neat. The grimm immediately started working on his math sheet. Math was not hard or easy and Jacie saw it as something that could be useful in the future so he actually tried to retain the information he learned. He made sure to write his name on the top so he could get credit, something he frequently forgets to do.

Today had been overwhelming...the use of the hearing aids was beginning to wear on him. Rubbing an arm slightly the Bakeneko quietly sat at his desk as they pulled out their pencil from their school bag. Chewing on his lip, he hoped it wasn't anything to hard..he wasn't feeling up to doing a bunch of extra work. So when the teacher handed out a counting assignment...Harley looked relieved. A small smile crossed the child's face as they began to work on their assignment. Once the worksheet was completed, they quietly walked up front, signing 'Here' to the teacher before sitting down. They could have talked..but Harley wasn't comfortable in their new classroom environment yet.

Post a small RP response in thread with how your student felt about the assignment. Milo reluctantly came to class, with what he hoped was a smile on his face. He didn't really feel very happy. With having had their twin passed away..and Sanyin and Kaia handling it at their own pace...it was hard. That along with the mixed reactions of rest of the family it was hard to say how the Grimm really felt. Somedays everything was fine...and today they wanted to go back to bed and hide. Sitting down not far from their brother, Milo quietly worked on the worksheet without a word out of them. Once done, they rest their face in their paw...staring blankly ahead with a faraway look on the young boy's face. They were lucky they had such a loving family..but the hole in his heart was like a bottomless pit.

Post a small RP response in thread with how your student felt about the assignment. Tabitha actually didn't mind math, for the most part, it was a lot like music. It had structure and a pattern to it if you understood it anyway. While the Grimm wasn't exactly top notch at the subject, it was easy enough to work on if they concentrated on the assignment. Tabitha held their pen in their clawed hand, the scratch of the writing utensil was satisfying to their sensitive ears. Double checking her math, she felt okay enough with the results to turn in her worksheet. Her mind wandered to her adoptive younger siblings. She had come into the family as a young girl herself...and had been around when the little ones had come out of their stones. It was hard to see them sad, she loved her extended pack. Frowning she wondered if she could maybe cheer them up with a trip to get some ice cream after school. Hm...

Post a small RP response in thread with how your student felt about the assignment. For what it was worth, Emilia actually loved school. Her problems had little to do with not wanting to be in class, and with the lack of sleep, she'd been getting. With Wade hardly talking to her..and Cyril having vanished and Waverly her loving adopted mother trying to keep everything going...Emilia was grateful for her girlfriend Zane. Zane offered constant love and support, while Emilia tried her best to do the same for those around her. It was hard to focus on Math, a subject she excelled at...but with careful attention to detail she got through the assignment. So what if she was one of the last couple stragglers..it got done at least. Quietly she slipped her worksheet into the teacher before going to sit back down.

Nalini fidgeted impatiently in the most unnoticeable way she could think of, toes touching the floor while her leg nearly vibrated itself apart, hoping to remain overlooked by the teacher as they passed out the math assignment. Math was fun and all, but she didn't want to be stuck doing math for the rest of her life, that sounded like way too much time spent indoors. Grabbing her pencil, she looked over the worksheets, filling them out as she went, thinking of all the cool trees out there waiting to be climbed. She didn't really bother checking her work, it seemed easy and that was a waste of time anyway. Flipping the packet over, she got up to hand it in when she noticed that she'd messed up an answer on the first page of all places. Hastily scribbling out the wrong answer, she wrote in the correct one before turning it in, and going back to her doodles of 'Cool places to go exploring.'

He did end up having to circle a bunch of the trees to count them, but that was ok. The paper got filled out and his name was even on it. That was good enough.
