Kage finds an opponent and the two hiss and start scrapping right away. It's pretty evenly matched, until Kage strikes a critical blow in the third round.
His opponent fights back for a bit longer, but that blow pretty much did it, and the challeng-ee slips off, defeated.

((It does, indeed, make it easier... otherwise sometimes we're waiting on each other))
Ormand wanders into the battle area, a look somewhere between fear and awe upon his face.
He hears a rustling noise to the right and jumps.
...but no opponent emerges from the weeds.
He slithers around some more, unsure where he might find himself an opponent. Unfortunately, he seems unwilling to go much deeper into the area yet, and that's where the opponents tend to be... so he doesn't find himself a battle today. But his confidence seems to be improving a little.
I'm sure he'll venture in a bit more tomorrow. 3nodding

Kage lunges at the first thing that comes into view, not caring what the size of the challenger is. Taken by surprise, Kage gets several blows in before the challenger comes out of it's daze and starts fighting back. The challenger lands two critical blows in his fury to come back, but Kage has already done irrepairable damage for this battle.

Another wyrm twice Ormand's size manages to find him.
Although Ormand is much quicker, his hits are much lighter than this other wyrm, and after his opponent hits several, solid blows, Ormand figures this battle isn't for him.

That last clobbering has put him in a good mood... and he's learned he fights better in a foul one. XD
