At least it wasn't her this time. In fact, it made her better that Breeze seemed to have misstepped as well. Gave his words more meaning. She offered him a smile and took off once more.

Minstrel was excited the first leg had been completed easily. This second leg was providing a challenge though, but was fun none the less.

Unfortunately, something tricky seemed to be happening with the path. Dew gave a hum, "It's okay, gang. We'll get the path right." She chucked at Half Truth's comment and gave a nod as she trotted back and readied herself, staring down the next glowing stone. "Another try!" She shot off with the group of them.

The stones, which have been glowing steadily, suddenly cease. After about half a minute, two of them begin to glow again. OOC Unfortunately, you will need to start this leg of your journey over from the beginning. The target number is 10. You have thirty - not twenty - OOC minutes from when 1 is posted.

"This path is trickier than it looks," Half Truth muttered. "Be careful, everyone!" she called in a patient voice. She didn't want to upset anyone- that would only make this more difficult.

Well... it hadn't been her again. Roses in Bloom sighed, feeling slightly defeated. But then, Half Truth wasn't giving up. Neither would she! Rose began again.

Suddenly, she felt old. She huffed out a sigh, turning to the group, "If we fail again, perhaps we should implement an order..." It might help ensure they were all on the same path, no stones missed.

Aaand then she stumbled into a fellow runner, and the stone reset again. "Oh, I'm so sorry," she said to the buck she'd bumped into. She shook her head a bit, feeling her cheeks flush, but turned back to start the path again.
"We will get this," she promised to herself and to the others, though her voice was lower than her earlier calls. She took a breath and tried to center herself before starting off again, hoping to not stumble this time.

Minstrel nods when an order was suggested, it might be easier to keep up in single file. He keeps his eyes glued to the path, doing his best not to miss a stone or place his hoof wrong.

"Whoops," Breeze breathed, stumbling at about the same time Lull had, and then the next attempt was over before it even began again. He felt sort of foolish trotting back to the start twice so quickly, but the obelisk had its rules, apparently. He started along with the group again, watching his footing a little more carefully.

Half Truth knew they couldn't give up. The obelisk wouldn't let them. So she paced along the stones, eyes forward and down to avoid any of the wrong path's stones.

So far so good...! Roses rounded her planned path, hitting the stones on her way. "Getting there! Come on, team!"

They at least seemed to be off to a steadier start, though she wasn't willing to call it good yet. Still, she was determined, and hopeful. Watching her steps and trying not to throw anyone else off again, she kept running for the glow.

Minstrel almost stumbles, catching his hoof on the stone edge and lurching forward. Luckily the stone in front of him was still the right path, blushing slightly he continues on.

With a final triumphant burst, they hit the end of the path, and Breeze set hoof on the cheetah stone. He kept on trotting past it a little distance, slowing down gradually, panting. "Hoo... I think that's enough exercise for me. You kids keep going, I'll just... wait here."
[[GOOD LUCK COUNTING EVERYONE! I've got edits to shade, lmao...]]
