Sometimes, that language is ...necessary.
Me, I was raised by a drill sergeant and spent a ton of my time working with police officers...so for me, words tend to lose their meaning that way.
I can hear almost anything. It's truly viscious personal attacks that I can't abide. So, keep up the colorful language if you feel like it. I won't wince.

New vent: I could've sworn I put my homework folders for my 2 classes in my black bag.... I can't find it anywhere at all. I searched through my bag. It's not there. I looked in my room. Not there. I looked in my car and under the seats. Not there. I doubled-checked my bag. It's not there. Rawr! It might be in back at the school and I'm flipping out. Plus I have class tomorrow which makes everything better. stare And I can't call the instructor because it's on the schedule and my schedule is in my folder.... When I go to my class tomorrow and I find it's not back in the class, I won't be a very happy camper. stressed

Bestmom where was the last place you had them before you put them in your bag/folder? I thought I put them in my bag after class was done. That's the last place I remember having my folders cuz I brought them to class that day for sure.

I'm usually nonconfrontational, I despise fighting and I'm not very good at it...(now an arguement, that's my realm).... but I've had enough!!!
so here it goes!!!!
ok...we have this big a** project and you keep skipping out on us....this determines whether or not we graduate and your are effing flaking!!!!! It's a group thing...I don't care if you can wait 'till the last minute and BS your own stuff but you are part of a group now and we're the ones taking up your slack, you are disrespecting us!....and I'm the one staying up with you until 2:30 in the f***ing morning the night before our 2.5 hour presentation working on your part because you hadn't even taken time out of your busy schedule to consider, much less write down, your 45 minutes worth! ME!!!! Now we have a 30 page paper due next wednesday and you tell me that the only time you can meet is tonight (friday) at 9:30pm or Tuesday night (the day before it's due). I say both, you say ok, then you tell me at 4pm today that your sorry but you might not even make it because you have a meeting an hour away at 8pm....We've been planning this meeting for how long?!! I get it...your busy...you're rugby captain, you're in a frat, you're uber popular so you have to spend time with everyone else all the time, and god forbid you give up getting wasted for one night so you can work on your damn project!!! And to think I was having a stupid high-schooly crush on! You better show up tonight...because I've been practicing this speech for 30 minutes and you are going to hear it!!!!

Sadly, he sounds a lot like me. The difference is, when I'm put in a group situation I step up to the plate and do what has to be done. Whack him with a really big nerf bat and you'll feel better. I promise.

it's a group grade, so there's not much I can do about his lack of participation...and I really wish I could wack him...
secondary vent...
I just found out that I didn't get the amazingly awesome internship I wanted...i was kinda counting on it...no one else wants me because I'm either over or under qualified (what a bunch of BS)...I graduate in 14 days and I have no idea what I'm doing.....i'm so stressed right now that i think i'm gonna cry...
