This was madness! There were slimes everywhere, and Miah could barely believe it! She was admittedly shocked when a little slime came and bounced up towards her, making her gasp and giggle as she caught it.
"It's actually pretty cute, if you ask me!"

"Cute?" The baphomet questioned with a soft snort, trying to dodge the gooey creatures. "I think you're crazy," they muttered, only to let out a gasp, falling back off of their hooves as a slime suddenly knocked into their face, catching them by surprise.

"They are DEFINITELY cute!" Aaminah said with a grin, only to pout as the slime she tried to catch jumped right out of her grasp, only for her to turn and get smacked in the head by another a moment later.

Braelyn was away from the others, giggling as the slimes passed by. Ava's screaming in the distance didn't seem to bother her one bit. In fact, it was more amusing than anything.

Oh no. This was aweful. Tithorea could only stare wide-eyed at the madness ensuing around them as they side-stepped away from a line of bouncing slimes.

Slimes? What were slimes? Certainly nothing she had ever heard about before. Iana was puzzled as she stepped towards the academy, only to pause, her brows lifting as a hoard of slimes suddenly bounced passed.

The hybrid was still fuming. "How. How did this happen? Where is Sirius?" She grumbled to herself, reaching a hand out to try and snatch up one of the flying creatures, only to just miss as it passed by.

"Oh my!" Lylia squeaked, her wings giving a hard flutter as she lifted herself from the ground, watching as one of the creatures zipped past. "Um. What?"

"...Why is this happening,..." Alaena muttered, her ears flicking absentedly as she stared at the army of slimes dancing around.

Daliah could only grumble to herself, her tail whipping around wildly behind her from irritation. She was starting to wonder if it'd be better to just... turn around and go home.
( Note: I'm just going down my dorm list of nightmares and giving them the acquired slimes in order. It'll just be easier since I have so many >>;; )

 With a grumble, he scrambled after the slime once more. It felt like the little booger was mocking him at this point and he wanted it. He was going to win!

 Liath nodded at Gwen taking the slime out of her hands, "I'll keep it safe for you until you're done!" He wanted to say he didn't mind her being covered in slime he'd very much like to kiss her, but Liath felt that would be too forward and it wasn't in his nature to be such. "I'll meet up with you later happy hunting!"

Florian continued his hunt, small hands tightly clenching the net. He would find one! He was confident in himself. Seeing a slime, he made an "eeee!" sound and ran towards it, but it was startled and ran away. Time for a more quiet approach, maybe?
Eli lurked around the hallways, unsure what was going on. Everyone seemed to be looking for something, but what...? He had clearly been focused on studying when the announcement happened. "Hmm, maybe I should ask someone..." he mumbled to himself, looking for an unoccupied nightmare to pester.
Phaedra had heard the announcement but disregarded it; why should she help? To her astonishment, however, she found herself in a predicament where she would - as she tried to play the piano she was so fond of, she found a slime trying to ooze its way into it. "What the...! Get out of there!" she squeaked, trying to reach for it.

Okay, so maybe the faceplant strategy wasn't working out too well. He had found a net laying around, but he wasn't quite sure whose it was. Well, he'd bring it back when he captured the slime.
It dodged everything. Who knew they were so tricky?
 After watching Antsy collect familiars during the Hunter's Jubilee, it was time to show her stuff. These slimes would be no match for her! There, up ahead, there was one. It fluttered its wings as Ash crept behind.
"Gotcha!" she said with a grin as she grabbed it up. It looked a bit like her sister and it squawked just like her too.
  Antsy on the other hand, was struggling. She had made a few attempts so far, but who knew this was going to be such a challenge! They were slippy.

Florian caught sight of one and taking a deeeeep breath, started to slowly approach it….until he saw it get unintentionally caught by a demon. Okay then… He huffed and looked around some more.
Eli was getting ready to approach a chimera and ask what was going on until a slime went by him in a rather slow, lazy manner. “What do we have here?” he said, picking up the slime and inspecting it. The critter was slow to react – seconds later, it seemed to have registered it was caught and squirmed, but to no avail. “C’mon, let’s go to my room and figure out what you are,” he said, toddling off with the slime.
Phaedra continued to try to reach for the slime but was unable to do so. Drat!

With a defeated sigh, Izar flopped down onto the ground. The slime glanced back with a smile and hopped onto his head with a smooshed grin... "Want to come home with me?" the litch mumbled. It gave a small bounce, he took it as a nod.
 Antsy pouted. Ash had no issue catching these slimes, but her? She was struggling like it was nobody's business.
 Rime had made their way from Leviathan to help with the slime disaster, but it seemed like it was under control? Maybe? They didn't have any issue. A slime just bounced up to them with a smile and they scooped it up. It reminded them a lot of their Tay.

 Turnip failed again in his attempt to catch a slime, he had such bad luck sometimes..  Micari had attempted to tempt a slime to her using cupcakes but failed.. Micari sighed sitting in a muddle of slime trying to think of a new plan, there had to be a way to out smart these slimes, maybe her brother could help her.  Gwen smiled as she lept one more time in an attempt to grab a slime for Liath. She finally caught one, it happened to me a red litch and Gwen blushed, it was so cute and silly. Gwen stood up and said "Here you go Liath." She bite her lip and then leaned in and kissed his cheek. "Thank you for helping me catch my slime, I don't think I could have done this without you."

Florian walked around but couldn’t see any. Come onnnn, where could they be? There had to be one somewhere…
Seeing that she needed extra height, the demon dragged a chair over. Phaedra jumped on the chair and tried to balance herself as she reached for the top of the piano, where the slime was currently residing, but started to feel herself lose balance. “W-waaah nooo…!!” she cried out before falling.
The grimm had heard about the slime invasion and was eager to do her part. Lurking up and down the halls, she tried to find one of the pesky slimes. Hearing a squeal from a student, she rushed over – the student was holding their skirt down, clearly flustered, but no slime in sight. Looks like there’s some kind of flirty slime about… Laina decided she would have to catch it.
Zephyr was taking a small catnap when they felt something squishy roll around their leg. Squirming, they woke up from their nap to see a slime cuddling up to them. Smiling, they scooped it up and cradled it in their arms. “Hello little guy!!” they said happily; the critter wiggled a little, clearly satisfied it found someone just as happy as it for a companion.

Aerilon had somehow managed to make it safely back to his carriage, slipping into the front seat and beginning to drive off, until he heard a soft squeak. With a jump, he looked to his side, spotting the small, dark colored slime that had apparently snuck in behind him.

"No. I don't even wanna touch these things," Lilianne said with a growl to the girl at her side, shooting her a sharp glare that had the Nixie pouting. "They're gr--"
Before she could finish her words, she was suddenly met with a face full of slime.

The moment the slime hit against the young Litch, Naedia fell into a fit of laughter, only to be knocked to the ground a moment later by a rather rambunctious little fellow.

Florian thought he spotted one! This was his chance. Slowly lurking up to it, he held his bug catching net tightly in his hands, ready to pounce…
Phaedra rubbed her head and suppressed crying. That really hurt… The slime was gonna have to pay for it, too. Clenching her hands into small fists, she took a deep breath. “J-just you wait, I’m gonna get you..”
Laina looked up and down the halls for some clue of the promiscuous slime’s whereabouts.
Mao had heard about the slime invasion and debated on if she really wanted to help. Was it worth her time? She was too cool for this, afterall. She flicked her hair. They would have to come to her because she certainly wasn’t going to chase one.

Florian swung the bug net catcher down…but missed. He watched as the slime escaped and sighed. This was a lot harder than he thought!!
The slime was getting closer and closer to slipping into the piano and Phaedra was not going to have any of that! She looked around for something to contain it in so that it wouldn’t ruin her precious piano.
Laina heard another squeal from a nearby classroom and rushed over eagerly. Standing in the middle of the room was yet another classmate holding down their skirt, and a slime wiggling away. “You’re not getting away!” Laina exclaimed and threw herself at it, catching it in her arms. “Y…yes!” she said, satisfied. While the trickster slime seemed initially bummed out at being captured, he seemed to reevaluate his situation and was very happy with who his capturer was.
Mao continued about her day, though she was growing increasingly irritated with the oooo’s and eeee’s she heard every now and then. Was it really that ‘scary’? They’re just a dumb slime stuff. Hmph.

Florian was starting to lose hope. He just wanted to catch a slime and be helpful and stuff. He frowned. Maybe he should reevaluate how he was approaching these things.
”Get. Down!!” she hollered at the slime. It seemed to hesitate before sliding off, but remained out of Phaedra’s grip. Perhaps it was scared that she was going to be mean to it, if she were to catch it.
Mao went to the cafeteria and sat down and started to eat her food… when she saw a slime was in it. Yuck!!! She shoved the plate away, clearly disgusted.
Estys was tending the plants in the garden at the academy with two of her babbins at her side, helping her out. And the weather was so nice today… Nothing could go wrong! She was, however, a little startled when Luminoire and Atoli startled hollering for her attention. She went over to see what was wrong; to her surprise, each were holding a strange blob.
Luminoire, very teary eyed, held up a slime that resembled a dryad. “M-moooommmm!!! This thing is… w-what is it??” she whimpered. “It crawled on my head and Atoli helped pull it off of me but I’m scared my hair is going to be all icky now. Is my hair okay?”
Atoli giggled at their squeamish sister. “Mooom! I found one too. See, see? And it looks like a fey like us! Isn’t it cute? Can I keep it?” they said, hugging it tightly. “It was hiding in one of the flowers you planted.”

 Odessa was walking down the hall, minding her own business when she felt her feet slip out from beneath her. She cried out as she fell to the floor. Why was there something slippery there? Kiessi was making their way to the dorms when he saw people running. Frowning, they turned to look, seeing people chasing some really odd looking familiars...  Was that a bump? Kara almost swore she heard a bump on her wall. How odd.
