 Alright, so like, Math definitely wasn't her favorite or best subject, but she had to give it a shot if she ever wanted to graduate, right? So she had to try her best, even if she didn't pass the first time. She let out a breath and stared at the paper, jotting down her work and hoping that she would get enough right to pass. When she finally finished, she couldn't help but frown a little. She knew her score wouldn't be that good, but she thought it was enough to pass... she hoped.

 Effie made a face when the teacher gave them a quiz. She hated quizzes. She was always nervous about getting the questions wrong. Chewing the end of her pencil, she looked over the few questions and thought about the answers before carefully writing them in and walking the quiz up to the desk.

 Avi stared at the test in deep, deep, deep suspicion. As if the numbers were going to starting dancing on the page and into a different spot. Well, he'll show these numbers! With his pencil, he filled out the answers and stared smugly at his classmates, confident in his answers. -------------- Xelva wasn't sure of her answers. Well, the first one she was sure of. The others? The hybrid chewed nervously on the end of her pencil as she thought and mulled over her answers again and again. In the end, she had to put something down. She only hoped she got enough correct to pass.

 Maybe it was the fear of not graduating. Maybe it was just because she was good at math (surprise!), or..... maybe the quiz hadn't been so hard. Somehow, she passed it, and with a good grade. Sure, it wasn't the best. She never had The Best in anything. But it was a fair grade, and Litla hadn't seemed so nervous when she turned in the paper. Somehow, that paper was turned in with a tiny, maybe confident smile, and a calm walk back to her desk.
Maybe today was just a good day?
For once.

Hajime was a little frustrated by the ways the numbers danced all over but he was able to finally see them straight and quickly finished his quiz.

 Enfys bit the inside of her lip at the mention of a quiz. She liked math, quite a lot more than other classes, but she hadn't studied. (At least, she didn't count the incessant reading of the textbook as studying; others likely would have had a very different opinion.) Once the paper was on her desk, she felt the nerves relax and fall away. This wasn't as difficult as she'd imagined it would be; she grinned, pencil moving swiftly. Now if only she could replace Health and PE with a second Mathematics class. Quiz finished, the little geist, hopped towards the teacher to hand it in.

 Toru was glad at least the numbers were the same! He finished his quiz in relative ease after Judas gave the explanation, then passed it in.

 Oh gosh... Math test! Tinka was quite nervous as she accepted the paper that was passed out to her. She always did her best to study, but she was always so distracted that she often lost track of the task at hand. Taking in a deep breath, as if getting ready to dive in for swimming class, she put pencil to paper and did her best to answer the problems.
The test certainly wasn't easy, that was for sure. She was almost certain that she had failed it, so when she got the results back, she couldn't have been more thrilled than if she had won a marathon! "Yes! I passed!" she shouted out excitedly. This score was a score she was certainly proud of.

Sylwia wriggled a little. A test! Papa always told her she should do well on tests...Good thing she paid attention and wanted to make her papa proud. She scribbled her answers and signed her name at the top, adding a large smiley face next to her name. Hopefully she got them all right!!! She skipped up to teacher and handed it in to him happily.
Mao flicked her hair out her face and grabbed her pen, which was just as stylish as she was. Very orante, it was decorated with swirls and small vespercat designs...She could get lost in tracing the shapes. Buuut she had a test to take! Focusing, on it, she skimmed the questions before starting. Easy enough. Smirking, she wrote the answers down with ease and walked up to the teacher with confidence. She turned it in and headed out. Easy-peasy.
Atoli nervously nibbled on their pencil as they received the test. It seemed easy but...It couldn't be this straight forward! Could it? They glanced to the side towards Luminoire, who seemed to be scratching her head and staring with intensity at her paper, confused. Taking a deep breath, Atoli turned back to their paper and scribbled their answer and slowly toddled up to the teacher, handing it in.
Luminoire groaned quietly. She haaated tests... and she hated math. Grumbling angrily, she stared at the paper, but the answers didn't seem to want to come to her. And as freshlings got up to turn it in, it only frustrated her more and more. How did it seem to be so easy for some freshlings??? Glancing up towards the teacher, who seemed to be watching the class, Lumi averted her gaze back to the paper. Better to give it a shot than not at all... She slowly marked what she thought what could be right and turned it in, than shuffled out the room.nepsah Sylwia, Mao, Atoli, Luminoire

 Another test? What was with these teachers today? Well, granted this one was a quiz, but still! Were they trying to collectively fry the brains of their students. The geist gave a sassy look to her teacher as she grabbed the paper from him, huffing to herself. Once again, she got a bit of a glare from her boyfriend, but whatever! She was a sass master, after all.
As it would seem, luck was on Hailey's side today. Another test she wasn't prepared for, and yet she still got a high score! It was actually a bit mind boggling for her in all honesty. She flashed a grin to Malachi as she showed him her score, getting an approving nod and thumbs up back.

 Turnip grumbled, he was not having an easy time with this school thing, he sighed. How was he having so much trouble with everything, maybe he was nervous being in class without his sisters. He had just joined the academy, just gotten a new mom and dad, maybe he was just scatter-brained because of that??

Turnip tried to clear his head so he would be able to focus on his test.. Turnip wanted to bang his head on the table, a math test should have caused him so many issues. Though maybe math just wasn't his subject.

Turnip sighed as he finally finished his math test, he wanted to scream and run as fast as he could from the terrible monster known as math, but he calmly took his test and handed it into the math teacher. Then went and took his seat and waited to be dismissed. Turnip put his head down on his desk to try to calm down while he waited.

 At this point, with the way his day was going, Malachi was starting to share Hailey's sentiments about teachers and their need for tests and quizzes. It was just not his day so far. Taking in a deep breath, the fallen looked at the quiz on the desk before him and groaned inwardly, pleading silently to let him do better this time.
When his graded quiz came back to him, Malachi let out the greatest sigh of relief. Finally! Something about his day went right! He thanked his lucky stars for it and smirked at Hailey, showing his score. Of course, when he saw that his score surpassed hers even just by four points, he celebrated just a bit... on the inside, anyways.
