Cody held her when she spoke but he untied her and gently picked her up, Metagross moving around as Cody climbed up onto of it, holding onto her and keeping his balance as Metagross marched out, keeping its head steady as Ninetails cleared any path that was blocked. Cody got Hizumi to a hospital for her to be tended to, cared for and checked to make sure she and the child were okay.

While she was in the hospital, authorites arrived and questioned them both about what had happened. She told her story, she was exploring the cave and once she saw something funny, Hizumi was nabbed and taken away to that part of the cavern and thrown into the back of a truck. After they left she looked at Cody, tears in her eyes, "Thank you for saving me."

Cody looked at her whens he spoke, he was happy that she was okay as he sat by her bed in the hospital, but he smiled to her, "I would do anything to keep you safe my love." he said hugging her gently, "How are you feeling?" he asked worryingly.

Hizumi smiled back at him, "I am feeling quite well, if only they would let me go right now. The baby wants to eat something that is actually good and not hospital food." she giggled and placed her hands on her growing belly, smiling

Cody looked at her when she spoke, but he nodded to her, "Alright, well I can go get you something to eat or check on when you can leave." he offered kindly to her.

"Eat first." she smiled and held onto his h and. She didn't want to let him go but he had to be the one to get food. She kissed it before letting go

Cody looked at her but lightly smiled as he leaned to her and kissed her cheek gently, heading out to get her a nice meal for her to eat that wasn't that heavy on her stomach since she was in the hospital but something filling for her and their child. When he came back he got the food for her but looked at her, "So, with what happened, um, do you think that we should just go and get the house ready, put my adventure on hold?" He asked more being concerned about her then him getting the badges.

Hizumi took the food and started to eat. She then snapped her neck up at him and dropped her utensil, "No way, we are seeing your adventure through! No matter what. And tomorrow we will get on the boat and head to your next gym battle in Mossdeep City."

Cody was surprised by her reaction but he sighed, "Hizumi, you nearly got hurt and I don't think that I could lose you or our child." he said softly, he had finally been able to fully let being a father sink in and he didn't want to lose that but seeing how she was, he looked to her, "Well then we should finish my journey as quick as we can." He stated simply.

In between bites she said, "Great now go to the docks and get us the tickets, if you need money here." she took something out of her bag and handed it to him. It was a Nugget! "I found this before they nabbed me. Hope it helps"

Cody looked at the nugget that she pulled out, surprised that she found one but he pocketed it and nodded to her, "Alright, I won't be gone long." He reassured her as he left the hospital to go get the tickets they would need but when he got back he was more worried about her not hurting herself by pushing to leave and continue his journey.

"Alright, bye." she waved to him and watched him leave. She spent the time dreaming about her life together with him, and what kind of house to get, and buying all of the baby stuff. She needed to tell her mother how things are going. Hizumi didn't really have any friends other than Cody, she was kind of a loner. But now that was all about to change, thanks to this little guy. Placing a hand on her belly, she smiled a smile that only a mother can have.

Cody went and got the tickets for the boat, and when he got back, he then checked on her as he walked in. He could see that she was resting and seemed happy. He smiled as he walked over to her, "Hey there love, you seem rather happy Hizumi." He said kindly to her as he sat next to her, "So they said that you're going to be okay, take things slow but nothing is wrong so they can discharge you soon and I have the tickets." he informed her kindly.

Hizumi looked up at Cody with a great big smile. She was happy to see him again, "Hey there. Great, I can't wait to leave. Lets go now so we can eat." she said as she was getting up. She was still in her regular clothes, "Lets hurry and fill out the paperwork." she was eager to get out of there

Cody laughed a bit when she spoke, rolling his eyes gently, "So I take it that, 'taking it slow' may need some time?" he asked curiously as he gently smiled, helping her out get ready, "I already filled them out, I figured that you were ready seeing as you had me get the tickets." He said reassuringly, he didn't want her to have to hurry herself.
