It was like she'd never left home! Though obviously some things were different. She had been about to perform a graceful spin when something suddenly cut her off. She hit ice, squealing with surprise as she fell to the ground and stared up at the ceiling a moment. What..just happened? The ice moved in a way ice should not move on its own.

Sibyl scrambled to sit up and searched for the source. When finally she spotted Gabby she gasped, rolling onto her hands and knees to crawl to her friend and then threw herself at him. "GAAAAAAAAABBYYYYYYYYYYYYY~!"

There was a very well-dresed sharp chimera boil entering the room about then. He looked handsome-- but he also looked incredibly angry. Like a "kill-a-person" angry. A very menacing aura was behind Jalaja, all of a sudden, as a very very angry boil put his hand on her shoulder. He had arrived in time to eat Jalaja from the first sentence but he didn't make it across the room in time. But his sharp chimera ears, unfortunately, couldnt make those words disappear. With fire burning in his eyes, he gripped Jalaja's shoulder with extreme pressure.

"Excuse me Xiu, I think I just need to have a talk with my sweet little sister."

He put his hand over Jaja's mouth, with his snake tail hissing in a furious low tone.

"So who was it that stood me up and told me the wrong location for our meeting, hmm? I almost didn't make it in time."

Vaith walked up to Xiu behind then. He passed a hastily written note in Xiu's hands.

"He didn't want his sister catching him so he gave me this. Gotta say, I dont envy that boil.

The note read: I'm so sorry, please ignore everything. EVERYTHING.

Xiu hesitated. She couldn't deny that Jiten had helped her carry her things down the first time she met him, but she hardly thought him to be the womanizing type. Really, he seemed quite sweet, and considering the last few "facts" that Jalaja had listed off, the baku was beginning to have her doubts.

The pleasant smile on her face had weakened a little as she struggled to find the words to respond, but she didn't have to--Jiten himself suddenly came swooping in from out of nowhere to excuse himself and his sister.

Blinking blankly after them, the baku jolted a little when someone approached her from behind, only to realize belatedly that it was Vaith. Smiling at the reaper, she took the offered note and gave it a quick scan, whereupon her smile only grew. Despite herself, she found a quiet laugh escaping her lips.

"Well, if it's any reassurance to him, I didn't really believe it all," she mused, fumbling with the note for a moment before she settled with slipping it into her dress (damn pocketless outfits). Peering over at the siblings, she lowered her voice so that only Vaith could hear her. "I wonder if this happens a lot?"

Lutz immediately held both hands up in front of himself.

"No."

"GABBY! GABBY! GABBY!" Sibyl hugged him tighter, eyes wide. "I went and visited my family 'cause I missed 'em lots and lots and it was so cold I caught so many penguins somanysomany and fish! Lots of fish. And we played in the snow and on the ice and in the water and my daddy told me if I'm a good ghoul I'll get to go scaring with him someday and all my brothers and sisters are super jealous of how cool it is here because I'm the only one who gets to go 'cause I'm the--" Oh, wait! Gabriel was speaking! If her eyes could sparkle, they would, but they unfortunately could not. The sentiment was still there, at least. She giggled and snuggled up against her friend with the happiest of sounds, nuzzling her cheek against him. "But I missed you lots, Gabby! I brought you things! Shinies."

Finally she let go of him to reach up and remove one of the necklaces she was wearing, a particularly glittery one that caught the lights of prom at nearly every angle. It was like a string of pearls, except the gems that made the necklace were nearly opalescent, showing an array of different shades of purple. She offered it up to him, looking prouder by the moment. "This is one! There's others in my room, I couldn't carry it all."

Ohhhh, the talking. Once more, Gabby began to wonder if Sibyl ever breathed, and he continued to try and pry her off of him even as she gabbed on and on, until she said the word shinies. His fingers turned weak and he stopped pulling her away, his keen eyes focused with intensity on what she was saying - and where she was reaching. Presents, yes. Shinies, good. Sibyl knew how to keep Gabby un-annoyed.

"Excellent." Gabby growled out, his teeth showing as he grinned into the sparkles of the necklace that she handed him. He held it up and lost himself in the shine, his claws clutching at it tenderly. Then he placed it on his own neck, and hooked it there. It matched wonderfully with his ice queen costume.

"You have pleased me." He announced, much as a king would to his servant. "I will come and visit soon so that I may see what the rest of your gifts entail. Well done, Sibyl. I'm glad you had a good time with your family. And I am doubly glad your siblings are so jealous - they should be. You have triumphed over them all."

Sibyl relaxed, her smile going from excited to pleased. Yes, she'd done well. She knew what her best friend liked, and it was easy to provide when she could dive for everything she wanted. It was a pretty great deal, really.

"Yaaaaay!" She laughed, clapping her hands with delight. "I'm the best! Can I sit with you, King Gabby?"

Even if the answer was no she was going to do it anyway. She was only asking for formality's sake, really.
