Personality: Booker has come to hate being around others, even though he hates to be alone. He's cold to others, and is fairly hateful and rude, and thinks himself superior. There are times when he will even lash out violently, either verbally or - very seldomly - physically. He doesn't trust easy, although he is quick to change his tune around a Fallen. He seems to be fond of them, and behaves much more pleasantly towards them. His personality towards Geists is quite the opposite. He's spiteful to them and has threatened a few, though the sight of a teacher, a Fallen or even of Dahlia will make him behave around Geists.
There are times when his personality seems to completely change and he's a lot nicer than his usually cold demeanor. This is because of Booker's fear of being alone and abandoned - he created an alternate personality to keep him company in his mind. This personality is called Harper and, against Booker's will, he has taken on a life of his own, so to speak. Harper is much kinder than Booker, and it's very easy to tell which personality is present as Harper likes everyone and wants to make friends while Booker will be cruel and push everyone away. In the Academy, Booker had a very loose hold on Harper but he kept a tighter leash on this personality when he entered University.
Although Booker is emotional poison, academically, he is a model student with fairly good grades and he somehow manages to stay out of trouble despite his behavior towards other students. He's always seeking out new information and knowledge about subjects he enjoys, and he pays close attention in class.
Positive traits: -Highly intelligent Booker has a knack for learning and he's always ready to gain new information. His intelligence shows in the work he puts out, and that he seems to understand a lot about the world around him. Granted, he doesn't know everything, not even close. But he's determined to show his intelligence by experiment and through thought-provoking essays. -Inquisitive Always one to ask questions, he seeks to gain more knowledge, primarily about Alchemy and magic. He likes to see if he can challenge teachers with his questions, although he prefers it when his questions can be answered rather than having his question stump the one he asked since this means nothing was gained from the exchange. -Hard-working Due to his poor mental state, there are times when he feels inadequate. This drives him to work hard and prove himself, to prove that he is worth something. If he fails, he will try again and try even harder.
Negative traits: -Obsessive Booker personally doesn't believe this is a negative trait, but his obsessive nature can be something that drives others away. He can be a borderline creeper due to this and it caused worry in his best friend. Booker reacts defensively if he is called obsessive about something because he simply thinks it is a 'hobby' and doesn't realize how troublesome and weird the unhealthy interest may be. This defensive reaction to his obsessive behavior resulted in his friendship with his best friend ending and it is one trait that prevents other friendships. -Spiteful Another trait that keeps Booker from making friends easily or at all. He isn't exactly vengeful, but he will say hurtful things to others that he believed wronged him. He has also been known to belittle others behind their backs. -Haughty Naturally, Booker thinks he's better than everyone else and gets angry when others act better than him. He hates feeling belittled, and likes to believe he is superior to everyone else. This is again related to his feeling inadequate, and he wants to pretend that he's absolutely perfect.
Likes: -Being around Fallen He envies their wings and likes to be around them to admire the softness. He also just likes the way Fallen look, and has liked their appearance ever since he was small. -Magic Booker wants to practice magic and hopes that he has a talent for it. So far, he's not skilled in any type of magic, but he frequently studies in the hopes that he can use it properly one day. -Science (Specifically Anatomy) His favorite subject next to magic is anatomy. In particular, he wants to study the anatomy of Fallen wings and Chimera wings, wanting to learn the difference between them and how they work.
Dislikes: -Insects He thinks bugs are gross and generally dislikes all of them. He has no real reason to not like bugs, he just finds them disgusting in appearance and hates when they suddenly appear out of nowhere. -Bad fashion Given that Booker himself likes to dress to impress and enjoys nice clothing, he finds some fashions to be distasteful. He dislikes torn clothing and mixed up patterns and views Nightmares that wear such things as 'fashion disasters'. It's usually nothing personal, he just thinks that if you want to look good, then a suit and tie is the way to go. Or that one should at least not be running around with holes in their clothes. -Puns Booker has no real sense of humor so he thinks puns are stupid. Harper enjoys them, so this might be why Booker dislikes them.
Hobbies: -Being around Fallen...? -Reading magical texts -Stalking interesting Nightmares -Listening to music
Harper:
Positive traits: -Kind-hearted Harper is the opposite to the cold Booker, and is much kinder. He wants to befriend most people and wants to reform Booker's friendship with Dahlia. -Understanding Despite being treated badly by Booker, Harper understands why his other half acts the way he does. He is also the reason why Booker can feel sympathetic towards someone else. -Optimistic He is fairly happy even though he's often locked away and treated badly by his other half. He has hopes that Booker will get better one day, and is hoping someone can help him.
Negative traits: -Pushover Harper will never fight Booker and is submissive to his other half. He cannot stand up for himself even though he wants to, because he knows he wouldn't even exist without Booker. -Talks without thinking Harper knows that Booker blames him for losing Dahlia as a friend, and while Harper knows this isn't really the truth, he accepts the blame. He tends to speak without thinking, saying things that he believes to be in Booker's best interest, which is why he spoke up to Dahlia about Booker's obsession, but his good intentions backfired and the friendship ended. -Skittish Although he is happy and grateful to Booker for creating him, Harper is scared of him because of how abusive Booker is to him. As a result of Booker's verbal abuse, when Harper manages to be the dominant personality, he gets scared of Nightmares that raise their voice around him.
Likes: -Sweets When Booker was young, when he was arguably kinder, he would often let Harper out to experience new things. One of those things happened to be sweets and candy, and Harper has had a sweet tooth since then. -Music Even when he isn't the dominant personality, Harper can hear the music Booker listens to and he enjoys it. Music is one of the very few things he and Booker can agree on. -Dahlia Harper adores Dahlia. Unlike Booker, Dahlia would treat Harper as a person rather than an extension of Booker. He cares about her and knows she wanted to help Booker, so Harper would tell her things he was getting worried about, and Dahlia would talk to his other half to help him get better. He hasn't spoken to her since the falling out she had with Booker.
Dislikes: -Mean Nightmares The only mean-spirited Nightmare that Harper is willing to tolerate is Booker. Even then, he's scared of anyone that yells or seems violent. -Sour things It doesn't have the taste that he likes. He prefers sweets. -Booker Even though Harper wouldn't exist without him, he doesn't like Booker at all. Or rather, it's Booker's personality he dislikes. He knows that he is also a personality of Booker's, but this doesn't change Harper's feelings. He will care for, respect and be grateful to Booker, but that doesn't mean he has to like him.

A little about me: Booker was abandoned at an orphanage when he was a Freshling but due to his age, he was sent to the Academy instead. He never learned why his parents abandoned him - he merely assumed they changed their minds about wanting him. Booker never let any of this get to him, nor was he phased by some of the teasing he endured when he was young. Or so he made himself believe. His abandonment left him mentally scarred.
When he reached his teen years, Booker realized he had a rather strange interest in the Fallen. He loves their feathery soft wings, they were so different than his own wings. The interest grew to obsession, and Booker found himself almost wanting to literally steal a Fallen's wings. His only friend at the time, a young Geist called Dahlia, fought with him over this obsession, trying to snap him out of it. The fight never got physical, although Booker certainly wanted it to. It was, however, a bad enough fight that it ended Booker's friendship with Dahlia. He did back off of the Fallen he'd been stalking.
After losing Dahlia as a friend, Booker's mental state dwindled, though he was wise enough to never let this show. He'd already been suffering mental damage from his abandonment as a Freshling, and now his only friend had abandoned him - which he refuses to believe is his own fault. He is thankful his damage doesn't show, and he lives as if nothing is wrong.
Years later, Booker graduated the Academy and acted like a model student, not letting anything bother him and focusing solely on his schooling. Upon entering Leviathan, seeking a degree in Enchantment, he crossed paths with a Fallen and his unhealthy interest with them, along with a new desire for experimentation, surfaced once more.
Thoughts on Race: Booker feels rather strange about his heritage. He knows being a hybrid is nothing to be ashamed of, but deep down, he hates being two different races. He feels as though his parents hated him for being born a hybrid, even though living in and attending the Academy taught him that it was okay to be different. He's generally fine with most other races, though he now dislikes Geists because of Dahlia.
Thoughts on House: He enjoyed being in Enoch, and his experience in it was fairly positive if he were to disregard the unpleasant teasing and his fractured friendship.
Goals: Booker wishes to study Alchemy and other magic- and science-based subjects in Leviathan and to later pursue a career in one such subject. Currently, Alchemy is his primary desire, though the science of anatomy has begun to pique his interest.
