The great knight spoke again, yet with increasing difficulty as his words broke off in fragments, and his behaviour would definitely cause suspicion, and yet... he didn't move.
Other knights joined the fray, one looking rabid and lashing out, and knights were either attacking or turning on another, trying to convince each other their way was right. Even as Gawain attacked back, even when he tried to kill them, Jake still didn't move. Maybe it'd just be easier to end it all. He didn't know what to believe anymore, didn't know who to trust.
His end would not come so soon, as Percival suddenly stepped in and slayed the great knight. Was that... the right or wrong thing to do? Morgan's words held merit, as it was unspeakable that a great knight would turn on another, but if he hadn't... would they not all be dead?
Then there were only two left, and the remaining knights had chosen to target either one or the other, or even themselves. It was at the hands of a knight that Morgan eventually fell. However, even then it did not seem like the end. Transfixed on everything happening, he had not noticed the mirror and gate had fused... until now.
Gawain was right. It should have been destroyed. And now, and now...
Nothing could have been done as the illusion shattered, Sir Morgan seen for what he truly was. There was nothing anyone could do as Percival was slayed mercilessly. He had seen enough. Three great knights were slain. What was to become of Camelot now?
He didn't know. He really didn't know.
