[[Sorry, trying to find a balance ^^;]]
She heard the sigh and saw the dust kick up. In a stroke of luck, some had also blown over to the one who was looking at her as lunch also, something which she quickly took advantage of to get some distance between them. From the corner of her eye, she saw Sammy flip up onto the roof of the building as she processed her response. She let a grin tug at her lips. "Great! I'll be counting on you." She turned her attention back to her own problem, sizing up the Gwen duplicate and seeing what it was going to do next.

(OoC: I know it's annoying, but you're not really giving them a reason not to try and save her solsi. Lucky told)her where she got the broom so maybe she find somthing she can use?) Unfortunately, or fortunately depending on how you view it, all the vampires end reaper thing attacks simply passed through the werewolves. They continued to run about howling and causing a raucous, but it seems that they were only there to serve as a distraction. A successful distraction...
The true werewolf had snuck away after Minty, silently tailing her until they were away from the others. She bears her fangs in a silent snarl before leaping towards the woman, fangs seeking her neck or shoulder.

Red hot pain blistered from Minty's shoulder as the fangs sunk into her flesh. She hadn't even heard the wolf coming. The power of the beast's lunge and the weight of it's body slamming her into the ground where it knocked the wind out of her. Through the red haze of pain, Minty pressed her hands against her neck, they came away red with blood. Instinct and adrenaline had taken over for the higher echelons of thought as she pathetically tried to scramble away from the pain.

Scythes, Watermelon, and Flowing Breezes. These are the things that bring me Joy. *Yeah, I'm thinking the same as Gwen. Between Xashowd's instinctive desire to protect others, Sammy's scared reaction to Gwen's initial transformation, and her cast...He doesn't have much else to go on. cat_sweatdrop * Xashowd tilted his head as his wind grab passed through the wolf. What the...? He saw that the wolves were running around instead of attacking...Thanaphyr's bops even passed through, causing the Reapling to tumble in mid-flight. He flew over to the sphere where Gwen was contained. The wolf was still, as though she wasn't breathing or moving...His hearing focused upon the wolf, but unlike other living beings he couldn't hear her bloodflow... She wasn't in the sphere. They were all shadow clones, ethereal distractions. " They're Shades! They're not real, and Gwen's phased out of my sphere!" He shouted at the others. He looked around frantically, where had the real one gone? And that's when it hit him. The scent of fresh blood... Hell...Xashowd flew off in the direction of the scent at breakneck speed, Blood meant one thing; Someone had been bit. He saw Gwen standing near Minty, who was crawling away with a wound...a wound on her neck. He was thankful he'd had plenty of Watermelon before the trip. He zoomed down and fired a blast of wind at Gwen, intending to knock her off her feet, and landed near Minty. " Can you walk?" He asked her with concern. I am Xashowd, the Nocturne Zephyr!

Sammy raised as brow as her comrade's attacks did nothing to slow the latest threats. "What the...?" Xashowd called across the way, saying what they all must have been thinking at this point. "They're Shades! They're not real, and Gwen's phased out of my sphere!" "Oh great." Her eyes widened some, then narrowed in focus and determination. Her eyes darted around, quickly conjuring up a plan. "Lucky, can you try to scare Gwen in that direction? I'll guide her from the other way." Of course by guide her from the other way she meant, be the bait. Jumping off the roof of the structure she waved off any concern over her shoulder as she ran. "Don't worry - I saw this in a movie once!" Veering in front of the werewolf she took off in the direction of the side show tents, looking to trap her in one of the barren lion cages. If that failed, at least she could access her magic away from a crowd and, just maybe, get through the girl she knew was inside the beast.OOC: Well I was going to have her spring into action, but you guys kept beating me to the punch sooo...yeah. Please and thank you. <3

Having Xashowd land next to Minty in the state she was in was like throwing spiders at an arachnophobe who was already having a panic attack about a broken leg. In fact, it was exactly like that. While normally Minty could keep her issues with vampires to a polite distance and only moderate observable discomfort, this was not normal Minty. This was a Minty who was much closer to an animal than a pacifist ex-adventurer.
There was a feral scream. Deeper and louder than should have been possible from Minty's anatomy, it sounded like a dragon roar. She roared at Xashowd again before trying to scramble further away, the only driving thought in her head was to get hidden and safe.

Duplicates? Shades? And suddenly an injured person and the vampire was off. Lucky frowned at how quickly the situation had escalated, but pushed it aside for now. Sammy seemed to have a plan and wanted her to scare Gwen over in her direction. "Right!" Easier said than done. She only had a broom. Gwen may find that to be more of a chew toy than a threat. And that wasn't even getting into what would happen if the stars came back while she was doing anything-
Suddenly the girl near the vampire suddenly let out a scream that was downright feral. Lucky flinched at the noise, not expecting something that loud. Right. This was no time to be doubting things. Planting the broom on the ground in a slant, she stepped down hard, snapping it in half. Her hand flew to a small pouch tied at her belt loop, coating her fingers in what appeared to be stardust before smearing it across the tops of the two sticks. A moment later, they shimmered and burst into flames. She held each one firmly in hand and swung one menacingly in the werepup's direction. "Get back!" she snapped at the wolf, trying to make her move in Sammy's general direction. If Gwen was going on animal instincts at the moment, then fire should be something she'd want to get far away from. Hopefully.

Scythes, Watermelon, and Flowing Breezes. These are the things that bring me Joy. Xashowd expected any number of things. A nod, a head shake, Gwen landing on all fours and charging right at him...he had numerous scenarios running through his mind as to what might happen next, all running to anticipate what comes next, protect, and survive. He did not expect the scream. The sheer volume pierced his ears, forcing him to cover them with his hands on instinct, yet that hardly drowned it out. It was feral, primal, ancient, fearful, enraged...it was numerous kinds of descriptions but most of all that single sound coalesced into a messaged that yelled "**** OFF!". Xashowd got the message. As another deep yet piercing shriek, like that of a dragon, loosed from her mouth he backed off, leaping into the sky and shielding himself with a sphere of wind, intent on blocking any more assaults. His hands still on his ears, he fought back his other instincts. The ones that wanted to silence the noise, to scream its message back at it and tear it to shreds. He fought his own primal instincts, mentally shaking his head at how one treasure hunt turned so wrong. He was really glad he'd eaten plenty of Watermelon before coming here. If his hunger kicked in now, they'd have two feral beings on their hands. No telling what would've happened, or who would've survived. Meanwhile, Thanaphyr had finally caught up only to meet the shriek himself. " Holy whatchyamacallits!!! Who ticked off a Wyvern?" He exclaimed, looking around for the source and seeing Minty on the ground, attempting to crawl from the area. The Reapling also noticed a trail of blood that led straight to her. " Man...I swear, one of you guys is gonna make me put in overtime..." He sighed, wondering how to approach the situation. Nothing he'd learned in 200 odd years had prepped him for this...matter of fact, there was no prepping for this. With Xashowd nowhere to be found and Lucky attempting to get Gwen's attention, Thanaphyr simply floated there. Best to wait until there was a clear sign or directive he could follow. He didn't work well with utter chaos... I am Xashowd, the Nocturne Zephyr!

The werewolf twists and tumbles back to her feet as the vampires wind blew her over, a loud growl rumbling in her throat as her ears are then assaulted by the scream. She shakes her head, her feral mind deciding to take care of the screaming prey later as she focuses on the three interlopers. She had finally taken down some prey and now competition is here to try and take it from her! She will not tolera- And now she's flinching back from the sudden fire, head swinging around to face the red head. The red haze of her eyes clouds out more of the normal gold, a howling roar or rage ripping from the beasts mouth as she prepares to fight this... Whatever this red haired human thing was. It didn't smell right, too ashy to be normal under that weird scent some of the human creatures liked to put on. Another howling roar tears out of her, her eyes now almost completely red as she darts forward, a paw swiping at the burning sticks in its hands while another swipes at its legs.

Sammy made it to her destination, tired and panting, but as her head bolted around she was shocked to see Gwen no where in sight. "Uh oh..." She peeked out around the corner and saw her chasing Lucky instead. "Well so much the herding plan..." She couldn't let anyone get hurt because of her less-than-bright idea...but now that she had a spare moment to herself, Sammy was able to do something she'd never done before, something her energy was primed to do ever since the Jabberwock...access her powers without transforming. Spurred on by the urgency of the situation her wand appeared at the ready. Flipping up to the top of the bleachers and peeking out of a hole in the tent she fired two discrete blasts - one at Gwen and one at Minty - of the healing variety. With any luck her aim was on point, able to mend Minty's injured limb some and, if even for a moment, help Gwen remember who she really was. OOC: You guys can choose how effective this attempt is. <3

AlwaysFadingAwaySlowly Tobias nodded at this, of course she would keep track of that. So then again, what was going on? He briefly looked over at her with a trace of amusement. "Trap doors and taunting signs? I believe the traps are the simulated infinite you all around as you try to find the right path. I can not imagine a trap door being wise in such a place. Are you alright, still too much dust?" Raising a brow at her words, he looked back out scanning again. "You could be missed, you know. One can never be sure what goes on in another's mind." Truly he didn't like hearing her speak like that. He might have gone on to say more, but his eyes caught sight of a red moon, and it felt like the wind had been knocked out of him. Somehow that reminded him so much of home that it was like a dull ache in his chest. Recovering as quickly as he could, he clenched his jaw a moment and took a breath. "Look at the moon, does that happen naturally here?"
((I think much to his chagrin, he's got demon down to some extent. You did fine, nothing to fret about. )) "Nah, not too much dust. I visited a sort of haunted house maze once before with someone else. It was a pretty wild ride, but I'm glad there were no trapdoors or signs this time." With that, she removed the bandana from her face, tucking it back into her pocket. Rae would be okay for now since there was a steady cool breeze blowing into the building. Maybe he was right, but there was only so much one could do about anxiety.
"No, that doesn't happen naturally here. Actually, it shouldn't be happening at all.. Maybe someone found the astrolabe and is messing with it?"The princess didn't see his reaction, as she was now studying the red moon, but she heard his intake of breath. Turning back to her friend, eyes full of concern, she opened her mouth to ask if he was okay, but decided against it. It must have reminded him of something bad, and far be it for her to stir up bad memories.
Well, if that was the case, they had no time to stand around listening to people screaming. Turning away from the window, Ravena made to move towards the slide that would take them back down into a separate room. "We should hurry, there's no telling what could be going on out there right now. If you want, I can have Rai go on ahead and search. He's the one in our party who would be able to sense the astrolabe, anyway. That would leave us free to join the others and possibly help out. I'll leave it up to you and follow your lead." If nothing else, she could act as a healer after the fact. It was the best thing she could hope for at this point.
((Having a tiny bit of trouble as to where I should go from here. u_u))

"I believe you may be right about someone having found the astrolabe. " His eyes were darting from the moon back to trying to search for signs of what was going on. Then the most disturbing set of screams sounded and his eyes blazed up as he was immediately set on edge. "Something is very wrong out there. Yes, we need to hurry." The words were growled out more than he had meant. If his agitation wasn't evident before, it would be hard to miss now. However, getting worked up before knowing what was going on did no good. So taking a deep breath, he tried to calm himself some. Heading to the slide as well, he gave her a nod. "Good idea, see if he can find anything. Can you perhaps sense the fastest way to the nearest person?" With that, it appeared as though he hopped on and went down the slide. Once she went down the slide, she'd find him waiting in the exit doorway.
((I'm trying to figure out who they would find first. Is everyone in viewing distance of each other, or not exactly? ))

That Green Gentleman Anon

The screaming, shouting, crying and roaring was unbearable for the poor guy. Even though he was not at the scene of events, could he hear it all perfectly well. Too well. Crawled into a ball on the ground, the tall guy had never looked neither tinier or more pathetic... But then, one of those roars truly shook him to his core, far worse than the others could. Even twisted as it were, he knew that voice. Now, Orrin may be little more than a geen-bellied whimp on most days, but on a day where one of his few friends might actually be in potential danger, is he anything but. The green man stood right up ran for it. And for once, not away from it all, but towards it. His eye was twitching, his breath was heavy, and his head seemed to be screaming at him, on the inside. But he ignored this. He had only one thought in his mind... This is my fault. It's mine.

Many things seemed to happen at once. The vampire suddenly dashed off, probably startled by the screaming while Gwen took the fire as a challenge rather than a threat. Focusing on the stardust still coating her hands, she allowed it to pull her a few feet back, away from the offending claws of the werewolf. "I said stay BACK!" she commanded again, this time more forcefully. She didn't want to hurt the girl. Really, she didn't. But if it came down to it, she would defend herself.
Suddenly out of the corner of her eye, she saw something..a light? No, two of them. One seemed to be coming right at the wolf, the other towards the fallen girl. She didn't know what it was, but right now, she was just hoping it helped...
[[Got a busy couple of days ahead of me guys, so don't wait up for me. I'll just have Lucky go with whatever flow happens.]]

((I'm trying to figure out who they would find first. Is everyone in viewing distance of each other, or not exactly? ))
"Then let's go persuade them to give it back." There wasn't much enthusiasm to the statement, and it was anyone's guess as to what she meant by "persuade". The scream was much louder to her ears than normal, but she tried not to focus on who's voice it was. The more she distanced herself, the easier it would be for her to act. She'd been concerned before, but now the tiny princess was downright worried. Then again, she really should have expected such things to happen. A simple treasure hunt had turned into a nightmare, one not so easily avoided.
Glancing at Toby nervously, she followed after him down the slide, not really worried about what the seat of her pants would look like now. Probably quite a bit dusty, but she had bigger things to worry about. Waiting until she'd caught up to him at the doorway, she flicked her wrist, sending Raiden off once more, this time on a more thorough search of the area. He disappeared in a small puff of blueish stardust. Since she didn't have her sister-in-laws sensing ability when it came to celestial objects, being just a small human girl and all, her star companion would be essential in their search. Albeit a small human girl who could pack quite a punch should the situation call for it. If he found anything, he would immediately let her know.
"I could, but I can only sense other's magical abilities. If they're just human like me, then no." While they waited for her star's return, she took a deep breath and closed her eyes, broadening her own search for some small hint of magic other than her own. The scent of cherry blossoms suffused the air, a saturn-like purple glow emanating from her small frame. That would be her aura at work. Ravena had no special talents of her own save control over her own aura, which took years to master. If her eyes had been open, they too would glow. Casting about for magical residue, she was able to sense the nearest magical being to her, whoever that might be in relation to the house of mirrors.
((That's a good question, actually. @Everyone: Who is the closest magical type person in relation to the house of mirrors? She knows Lucky is there, and who she assumes to be Gwen (she doesn't know many other werewolves). The little princess can only sense magic if it's relatively close by in relation to where she is.))
