Jet settled down on a chair as Aster watched Bobby making sure he didn't do anything to the youngest in their group. Saph smiled brightly before using bubble to entertain the boy. The bubbles circled the two. Trinity lead Shadow to a garden in Cerulean city. It had beautiful water fountains. She turned to look at Shadow, "You have come a long way since we first met, Shadow. I'm happy you atleast trust me and my decisions on things." She said hugging him.

Bobby and Saph seemed to get along well - understandable, since Bobby was practically an oversized child himself. Shadow blushed slightly before smiling, hugging her right back and being careful not to let his chest spike dig into her. "I don't see why I wouldn't trust you; you've been nothing but kind to me. Even if I wasn't in love with you, I'd probably still trust you with my life," he murmured back, arms around her waist as he held her close lovingly and possessively. It should be worth noting that he spoke aloud... in English. Nearby, a strange boy in a black hoodie glanced over as he overheard the talking Lucario, a gleam of curiosity in his eyes, then seemed to lose interest, returning to watching the people go by.

Trinity gasped hearing him use his mouth to speak. She looked up at him amazed, "You sound better speaking aloud." She said cupping his cheeks. She kissed him then pulled back. Trinity was curious though, she touched the spike on his chest. She always wondered what would happen if she touched it. "Is this a bone or a steel spike?" She asked him.
Saph smiled then blew some more bubbles liking his new friend.

Bobby was more than happy to play with the little guy, grinning the whole time as he did so. Shadow turned a little pink at the compliment, but pretended not to hear it otherwise, instead returning the kiss and then focusing on the question. He opened his mouth to answer... then paused, closed it again, and blinked, looking down at the spike with puzzlement. "Actually, I'm not sure myself..." On the one hand, it looked and felt like warm metal - even had similar toughness - and he had to get his part-steel typing from somewhere. On the other hand, he could feel when someone touched it, and it didn't conduct electricity any more than any other part of his body did. ...On a side note, some small corner of his mind was noting that he got a funny feeling when Trinity touched his spike - a sort of tingling sensation, though it felt rather nice. Oddly enough, he felt said feeling in his crotch too...

Trinity playfully gave the steel spike a stroke before letting it go. She then asked, "So do you want to get some ice cream to share? Tomorrow, I want to get to training the others. I think I also want to train with you better. My father said it is fun to play fight with a fighting type. So do you think you will be up to either meditate or spar with me? Don't worry about hurting me. I did this all the time with my father's fighting Pokemon." she said smiling. She went back holding his paw to lead him around the garden.

"Well, I could try and teach you how to use Aura, if you want," he offered, adding, "Mind you, you might not have the ability - not many humans do - but I can still try to teach you." However, the couple were completely oblivious to several pairs of eyes discreetly watching them from various vantage points.

Trinity smiled, "That would be cool to learn but come on. Have you tried ice cream before?" She asked curious as she got them a sundae to share. She was starting to feel uncomfortable though she was fine with Shadow, it's just in the back of her mind she felt she was being watched. Trinity took a lick of the ice cream before offering it to her date.

Shadow shook his head in answer to her question; he could similarly feel they were being watched, but he just chalked it up to paranoia. "I'm afraid not," he admitted freely before giving it a lick. Amusingly enough, you could actually see the moment when he practically fell in love with the treat. Still, he did his best to keep up his tough-guy image, as usual, giving a shrug and a grudging answer of, "It's not half bad." ...Mind you, his tail was wagging as he said this, so the nonchalant act wasn't terribly convincing.

She said licking the ice cream before kissing his cheek. "It's what makes you cute how you are in denial." She said.

Shadow turned a little pink, pretending not to have the slightest idea what she was talking about... still, he was glad she thought he was cute, though the odds of him admitting that out loud were pretty slim. Instead, he focused on sharing the ice cream with his girlfriend, enjoying his time with her.

Shadow considered this a moment and was about to answer when he yelped in surprise, a metallic net coming out of nowhere to entrap him; a quick glance in the direction it came from revealed several Team Rocket members as the culprits. One of them pressed a button, and Shadow's yelp quickly changed to a scream of pain as electricity shot through the next and by extension, Shadow himself.

Trinity screamed seeing Shadow get entrapped. "SHADOW! She shouted as he was electrocuted. Quickly, the trainer punched out the Team Rocket member that was holding the button down. She took the control but had to fight off the other grunts after her now. "Shadow?! You ok?" She asked concerned for him. The keystone in her possession flashed but wouldn't work at this time with their bond not solid.

Shadow's breathing was ragged, but he nodded, watching her with concern as he did his best to get out of the net; unfortunately, this particular net seemed to have been built with him in mind. Suddenly the grunts found themselves face-to-face with a strange boy (see post where Shadow first spoke English) who blocked each and every last one of their attacks at Trinity with ease, his lips in a small smirk but his eyes cold as ice. Once the grunts had stopped attacking momentarily to examine him, he spoke, his voice feral with an underlying edge of steel. "I'm feeling generous. Leave now, and I won't kill you." The grunts hesitated a moment, but recovered quickly, one of them rushing this stranger once more in an attempt to get to Trinity, only to find himself on the ground before he'd even blinked, the stranger's foot lightly on his throat. "Strike one." A group of three grunts tried this time, being more cautious than their predecessor; however, two quickly found themselves lying on the ground and in too much pain to get up, the third held up in the air by his throat. "Strike two." The stranger glanced over at the remaining grunts coldly, his smirk widening to reveal sharp canines as the few enemies left flinched. "Care to try for strike three?" The remaining Rockets wisely bolted at this point, and the stranger let go of the grunt in his hand, causing him to smack into the one below his foot and knock both unconscious. The stranger's expression abruptly became blank as he tossed out a Pokéball, revealing an Absol. "Hunter, cut the Lucario free." He glanced over at Trinity as the Absol did as it was told. "You hurt?"

Trinity cried out as she was attacked more and was saved by the stranger. She quickly went to Shadow to check him. Her face was covered with tears now. "Shadow, are you ok?" She asked worried for him. She was so mad that their date was ruined by Team Rocket. She turned to the stranger, "Thank you. Thank you so much for helping us."
