[ Cell 2 ] Shu + Kiki"I agree....." She wished Robert or any male hunter she knew was there, the blood stains on her coat made her sick, she didn't wear her new coat much but she loved it. "I-I don't know, Cael-Sama and Uncle Mark said they are contaminated, maybe virus infection....it sounds serious." Shu stared at the patient, thinking what he went through to become like that. Mustered up her little courage, the girl moved forward to remove another chains and secure the movement of the infected guy with the loosened chain, leaving a portion for further processes. "You feel painful right? Soon you will be released from that......" She said before she passed the task to Kiki, glared at the patient who movement made the chair to rock. "Just one more, Princess." She encouraged the girl for the detestable work they needed to finish with gentle soft voice. "We will end his pain. We can do it." Shu's eyes were full of pity with something more hidden, the amber color resembled that of a cat, when it observed quietly. She hated this place. Kiki felt no pity for them. None at all. After all, feeling something for anyone but herself was a waste of her time and effort. Kiki looked out for herself. As such, she kept a fair distance from the infected as was allowed of her. Kiki grimaced, tugging the last chain free, and holding on to keep the thing from getting to her. "Okay, let's get this son of a b***h to the cooler. Let's move it, Shu." Meegane 1) You remove one of the four chains and you hear a loud snap, as the infected patient begins to foam at the mouth and convulse mind.

[ Room C ]"Alright, princess." Feeling the weight of the chains in hand, shu took the lead, with the patient in the middle, and then Kiki at another end. The cold air lunged at them as the Asian opened the door, she instantly shivered as she didn't wear a lot of clothes. "I-I hate-hate-this-is-is-place-ee-e-e-" Even her teeth were clutching and rubbed against each other because of the uncontrollable shakes. Still holding the chains, she rubbed her body at a high speed, hoping to keep herself warmer. The dislike was so obvious, well written on her face. "I-I wish-sh I-I-I could-could have-ve a-a- b-bowl of gin-gin-ger chi-chi-chi-ken s-s-s-soup right now, my-my friend's-s-s one is-is good-d-d....." The Death looked at the patient again, "Be-be good and-and-d you can-can get rid of-of this su-su-suffering soon-oon." She barely made a smile, couldn't forget the fact that the guy might be once a hunter like them, just unlucky. There was always something worse, right? Cell 3Evan considered himself fortunate to be in the presence of some at least halfway-competent trainees, but they could only form groups of five. He couldn't take Tuck without taking Heidi, and a moon would be good for Nora, a Sun--but that would leave only one spot open, and he wanted to take Noemi just to keep an eye on her, but she'd probably be reluctant to go without Milo. Luckily, he was saved from trying to wrap his mind around the logistics of team-building as someone took his hand and dragged him off. He turned to look at them, confused, and was struck dumb to see that it was Stormy. When had she gotten back (and why hadn't she said anything)? She was clearly in one piece, but was she okay? He shot Gale a questioning look over her head; was this a surprise to him, too? It was only after Stormy had led them through the portal that he realized she hadn't taken Tuck with them. He had so many questions he wanted to ask her, but she didn't look like she was in any mood to answer them. On the contrary, she looked like she was all business, and Evan had mixed feelings about that. It would have to wait. They had their orders. "Okay," Evan said, giving Stormy a look that said they would talk later. It didn't look like they were too far from their assigned cell, and he peered in, looking at the poor soul strapped to the chair. "I'll take the chains at the top. Gale, see if you can handle the bottom. Stormy, back us up if this thing gets loose." He didn't want her anywhere near that thing. Evan approached it cautiously, though it was well tied down. He kept an eye on it as he slipped a chain loose, jumping as something suddenly cracked behind him. He automatically pulled the chain taut, ready to secure it if it seemed like the patient was trying to get loose, but it didn't seem like its thrashing was voluntary. He tried to bury the pity. These things weren't really human, not anymore.

Sasha jerked the infected thing into the room with both chains, a sour expression on her face. She wanted to mash its face into bits of bone and matter, but that simply wouldn't do - this was a mission after all - and so doing her very best to tamp down her irritation, Sasha connected the first of her two chains.

Otto's patience to deal with Lawr's arrogance was wearing thin. The cold air of the cooler made Otto's teeth chatter when he wasn't gritting his teeth in aggravation. His arms held across his chest in vain to keep him warm.
"I can handle it ******** fine, you unimaginable asshat." He growled angrily at Lawr, moving swiftly to keep the chains down once the countdown began.

Cell 2 - Room C
Oh great. Cold rooms. Kiki was accustomed to horribly chilly weather from her home in Canada. It didn't make it any more pleasant. Lucky for her, she at least had layers.
"Quit talking to it! It doesn't understand you anyway!" Kiki snapped, rolling her eyes.
Kiki and Shu subdued the patient, and Kiki quickly ran to press the panel. "Let's get out of here, ok?"

"Now now, that's rude pardner" he said with another perfectly measured smile. "I ain't done nothin' to ya but been cordial and tried to help ya with yer problems."
He was almost reluctant to leave the cold room, but his precious fingers on his cold hand were going numb.
The door slammed shut behind them.
"Well" he said. "That was simple with a mostly." And Otto got another look. "Competent team."

As the trio made their way back to the main room, Sasha looped one arm through Otto's and the other through Jan's.
"I need to clean my jacket off," she pouted, resting her head against Otto's shoulder, "and I'm very upset that neither of you congratulated me on my promotion, too."

[ Room B ]"I-I-I know, it-it just-st make-make-me more com-com-fortable, he-he was-s- one-one of us-us." It felt weird to see the infected patient, Shu had the illusion it might be one of their futures. The girl nodded in agreement to save the warm air in her lungs. After gesturing a "ok" hand signal to the camera, both of them moved to the final room. It was so much pleasant in this room, she could talk normally. "Tie the chain to the floor and one of us press the button?" Shu secured the two chains she was responsible and confirmed with Kiki on hers with eye signal, pressed the button and waited for the door to open and leave. Suddenly, they heard the noise and found the patient broke through one of the chains, struggled to get rid of the remaining three, clawing and such. 25 seconds

Otto grit his teeth. Lawr was intentionally trying to piss him off. Sasha, of course, got in between them. It was for the better that she did. Otto' patience with Lawr was on thin ice.
"Congratulations, Sasha." He murmured, still glaring at Jan on her other side. "It's well earned."

Jan smirked, and then because he did not know fear, and because he dared leaned over to plant a kiss on Sasha's cheek.
"Sorry darlin'" he drawled in his terrible accent. "Ah plum forgot you weren't top rank already." and then as he leaned back said very quietly and in his true, cold voice in her ear so only she could hear. "Congratulations."

[ Room B ]"I know....he's naughty. It will be fine, mister. No need to afraid." She cooed the patient, eyes looked in eyes directly. "Just stay there will do...." Secured the chains and confirmed other chains were firm, they walked swiftly out the door. "Great job, Princess." Shu took and high five-ed another girl pleasingly. "Let's move back to rest. I wonder how others doing." A bit of a worried tone hinted in her voice. 25 seconds

Kiki returned the high five, huffing indignantly and adjusting her ruffled clothing. "I'm more concerned about stains." She needed to be sure she didn't get any slobber or zombie cooties on her precious clothing.
Kiki and Shu headed back to the safety of Room A.
