Colder than ice?! Marcy's face, somehow, grew a little more awed. That was nothing short of neat. Pretty, well mannered, and wings colder than ice. Her new friend was amazing.

"Oh." She picked up on the fact that he wasn't quite so happy about something. Worried he was monopolizing the conversation, perhaps? That was partially her fault, she'd been asking. Before she could say as much, he was continuing on.

Her eyes grew wide again. "Melting would be awful. Please don't melt." She might have said more, but he was giving her a cute little doily hat, and complimenting her. He was kind and polite, too, on top of everything.

"You're very interesting. It was my pleasure to get to chat with you, but I don't wish to keep you from anything important. Thank you for stopping by, it was nice to meet you."

The little ghost waved after him, one hand on her head to make sure the doily stayed there. She was certain it had to be cute. He had excellent taste, after all.

She'd be mad at herself when she realized she'd forgotten one of the most important things when meeting new people. Introductions.

Rojo dropped his concoction into the pot then waited some more. He might have waited a little too long. Again.

This time when he tasted the tea, he didn't wince. Sure it was a bit too strong, but at this point he was almost used to it.

Making Tea!
Many of the booths seemed to warrant second tries, and the calm little tea booth seemed to be one of them. Maple had done alright the last time but the particular arrangement she had made had been unsatisfying to her and she felt the need to make amends. True, she was no brew master but she should at least try a little better, right?

So, the witch made her way towards the booth and began to make a new selection once again.
( What was with her and the pink doily? )

Making Tea!

Ever sense Camilla's spectacular failure at the Dainty Delight's booth a few days ago she had not been a happy Dormouse... To fail so badly truely was a embarrassment for the Dormouse ghoul and in the days sense everytime she had tea she was reminded of her failure...

As a Dormouse Monster and especially one of her stock and raising it was quite embarrassing to do so badly Tea making is very important skill in Dormouse Monster Culture as tea itself holds great importance just as it does to the English culture its based off of its joked Dormice Monsters can brew a good cup of tea before they can speak which might not be far off and ontop of this Camilla herself is a Tea Connoisseur she loves tea and brews it multiple times a day which is why her failure stung so badly... though admitedly she hasn't had much experience with Teas other then English ones she still was not happy

And so durring lunch Camilla found herself infront of the Dainty Delights booth with a determined look on her face she would repent what she called her Tea Crime and do better! She didn't even care if she won anything she just wanted to show she could brew a decent cup of tea

Silently and surprisingly calmly the Dormouse ghoul heads straight for the table and begins selecting her tea after looking the selection over she found herself torn should she take the safe route and pick the black tea she knew so well? Or should she be adventurous and experiment? Finally she decided sense she was adventurous last time she would be this time too and after much debating selected the White Tea

Next she moved on to her accent flavor she didn't even go near the orange zest this time deeming it's use beyond her current skill level and instead looked over the other accents she finally came to a pouch full of a special herb blend after smelling it she identified it as Night Shade and... Wormwort? She found it to be a curious combo for tea but it did have a very nice sort of halloween essence to it so she finally selected that

Her next job was choosing her cup and doily before she even started brewing the tea she went to make her selection because she felt the reason she over brewed her tea last time was because she took to long here after looking over the selection she finally picked a white cup with dark blue accents and the light blue almost floral doily from before finding that the two blues worked well together with cup and doily selected before she started brewing she filled the cup with some hot water to warm it up something she forgot to do last time

Finally she got to brewing she added the White Tea and the Herb mixture being light handed on the herbs so not to over power the delicate White Tea before sitting down and pretty much babying the thing she would not fail this time!

Making Tea!

After da nasty tea Marie brewed last time, she hoped to at least brew some tea correct dis time. She grabbed some white tea and orange peel and put them in a pot, den let dem brew as she chose a green tea cup and white doily (she like da design).

It was a few moments before Marcy stopped wondering about what it would be like to have wings. And another few minutes before she was done scolding herself for being rude and not offering her name. Someone like that iceboil must be a stickler for proper manners, even if he admittedly liked talking about himself too much. Oh well. She'd just have to fix things the moment she saw him again. But first, she had customers.

Like the sweet looking ghoul who was just about finished making tea. Or completely finished. She was already turning away when Marcy realized what must have happened. "Oh! Don't worry, do come back and try again! Practice makes perfect, I've found."


She saw someone else making tea, and they seemed to be doing just fine. Their brew probably needed another few moments.


But next to them was another ghoul, who was not only finished, but also seemed pleased with her brew! "Very drinkable! Rather nice, actually," Marcy said, nodding as the let the flavour of the tea rest on her tongue a moment. "Mhm. Good."

This was going to be her third, and really last, try at trying to make this tea thing work. (Honestly, this was just proving that her talents as a brewer were next to nill when she couldn't even manage to make tea correctly, how was she supposed to make potions like her mother? Urg). But, she tried anyways.
