OCTOPU55Y was getting more and more tired by the minute. Her arms ached from pain, having tried to attack the Red Queen more than once but failing each time. She tugged on her jacket collar a little, then looked down-- oh hey, wait. Wow, OCTO was slow. This was her first time noticing she was actually wearing something different. When did she change? Was it when she changed from Doormouse to Doormouse Doctor? Perhaps. It did look a bit upgraded. She adored the tufts of cream at the top, as well as the fur, oh man, furrrr..... She'd never had fur before. Fur looked horrible underwater, always wet and soggy. But above water...it was great. Soft, fuzzy, like smoothstone.
Speaking of fur... Cheshire. The only thing she could remember was that fuzzy animal eyeing her down, telling her the answer to one of her questions and then sending her away. Three times she had done that quest, three times... Then she finally beat it with a KICK PUNCH (Okay, not a kick punch, but, but one well-laid trap of a joke. What is the longest word in the dictionary? Smiles, because there is a mile before every s! HA!!) and carried on. She had heard of a sidequest relating to another Cheshire when she roamed the second zone, but never bothered to check it out, still irritate and mad at the Cheshire. She bit her bottom lip. Then there were 3 other Cheshire's. Crazy Cheshire's. That attacked on sight. They were all strange, but that one... seemed stranger. So they had attacked it and brought it down. It almost felt like a glitch...
Okay, OCTOPU55Y had to admit, this wasn't nearly as bad as the glitch. That glitch was extremely scary, everything was moving and it just... did not feel right. Not one little bit. Her eyebrows creased together, slightly irritated. What the hell...? The Red Queen still looked extremely powerful and domineering with her head held high as she watched the other White Queen attackers attack her, kicking butt singlehandedly. She huffed. Oh hellll naw. Time to pull out the big guns. She sighed a little then summoned a pet--- an Alice minipet she won from her first raid, one she felt was sufficiently powerful enough to kick butt next to her. She slid a hand through her hair with small smile on her face, then looked around with a frown. She really needed a heal.

Of course there was a boss battle. It was a game. Not to mention her life never seemed complete without some huge to fight. The fight itself was hard to miss. Everyone was there, the Queen was not exactly shy about wanting to mess them up. It was okay. She was prepared! She had her cards, her pocket watch, and her determination.
The first thing she made sure to do was pull out her pocket card and set up an ability. Luck. She liked luck, and she hoped it would decide to be on her side for this battle. It would really help her out.
Because the Red Queen could not be allowed to destroy. That just...It would end badly. That was the whole point of destruction, wasn't it? To end badly? And wasn't Sherry-- Waffleberry's whole point in life to stop that? Yes. Yes it was.
Of course, right then was not the time for such musing. It was instead the time to attack. So, drawing on her weapons, Waffleberry did just that. A basic attack, using her pocket watch, though it did seem luck was giving her a helping hand.

One hit in, and Waffleberry could see the Queen was tough. Took a chunk out of her own life bar, without even trying. "Ouch."
Still, she wasn't done. It wasn't that big of a chunk. So she drew again, and this time...she drew her special card. A card that turned into a sword of bone. Interesting. It also seemed... to come with the power to heal. "Okay." Looking around, she chose a semi-familiar white rabbit, and gave them that heal. Every little bit helps!
Then it was time to hit the Queen again. That was easy. It was just hack and slash at this point.

She had just joined the battle, but it was already wearing her down. She didn't like letting that slow her, and she drew on her weapon again for an attack. Luck seemed to be on her side thus far, it was really helping to bolster her attacks. That was something she found rather satisfying, doing what she considered to be decent damage was always nice. Even if the boss was killing her.

Oh oh oooohhhh! Boss battle! She had nearly forgotten that yes, there would be bosses in this game that she could actually fight, but Kousagi had gotten around to it eventually! With a laugh and a cheer for her super cute minipet that was helpful enough to heal her, she leapt into battle and immediately pulled out the fancy axe. Because why the heck not.
