Slowly but surely, OuO made her way through the tall grass and onto the other side where a lilypad path waited for her (it kind of reminded her of the Island of Conquest, which was really nice). But she found herself in a similar problem as she had when she walked down those paths.
Her size.
Wasn't it always. But usually she was much too small. This time she was much too big. Remembering the other mushroom she had saved from the beginning, the ghoul took a nibble and with eat bite she made her way back to her proper size. It was a new day, and the0racle was determined to solve this ridiculous puddle, or at least not go down the same path a million times and be unable to get through it. To her fortune, the voice underneath the lily pad seemed to be okay with letting her give another go, or maybe it was just tired of the cheshire cat player pestering it. Today she made a small change, and grabbed the big and medium mushrooms. the0racle managed not to go down the same path as the last time, and came across a new obstacle. She couldn't quite see the path through the bluebells, and her arsenal of mushrooms weren't quite right to help her with that. Back at the beginning, the0racle decided that maybe her luck would fair better if she changed up her mushrooms, and so grabbed a small and a medium mushroom. Maybe this would work out in her favor... but probably not. "If you can find the secret exit, I promise lots and lots of treasure! Climb the lily pads to find out!"
The treasure part piqued her interest. OCTOPU55Y eyed the lilypads... then huffed. What are those voices blabbering on about?! She couldn't climb them at her height!! She accepted the quest anyways, and looked around-- oh, hey, mushrooms. Three types. On the caps was a small sentence: EAT ME, but only two. Huh... maybe they made her smaller? She grabbed the large mushroom and the medium mushroom, and headed off, starting her walk.

Back to her old foe, the0racle was definitely ill equipped for this fight. She had no choice but to turn back and remind herself that this was all for the loot. A fork in the path prevented her from moving on. After flipping a spare memory coin she had in her inventory, OCTOPU55Y decided to go to the left, still holding onto her large and medium mushroom. Arriving at a very, very large bundle of grass, OCTO decided to go on ahead and take a good-ol munch out of the big mushroom. Suddenly, she felt herself getting bigger and bigger, holy crap-- she was normal now, larger than the grass. Good. Onward she went!

the0racle returned to the tall grass, this time far better equipped than she had been the last time. It only took her five attempts to figure out how this game worked, but now that she had, she was rather pleased with herself. the0racle pushed the big mushroom into her mouth and didn't bother to chew it down, just straight up swallowed it. Accordingly, she felt her body tingle a little as she grew to a massive new size, and with a triumphant smile she stepped over the grass on and on to her next obstacle. killsteal honestly just stumbled across this part of the forest, and one could almost sense the palpable relief coming off him. Something not stupid ******** talking trees. Although water wasn't too much better, maybe there was something lurking there he could destroy.
He did hear a voice as something under the lily pads piped up. More secret exits? What was this forest and everything having to be a secret anyway? Sheesh . . . At any rate, they didn't seem to be the correct path, so killsteal checked around a bit more. There were mushrooms, which he supposed might make a (risky) good snack to keep along just in case . . . He nabbed a pair of medium and large ones for the road and hoofed it. Pawed it. Whatever.

Not too long into his walk, the gryphon ran across a fork in the road. Leaning left for no particular reason (killsteal swore choices didn't make a big difference in this big a** forest anyway), he continued walking. And walking. And walking.
Was it him, or was it . . . Yup. The grass had gotten taller the further he'd gotten, and even someone of his stature was having trouble seeing. "Tch." He picked up the large mushroom to nibble in thought, sniffing it warily; probably his luck would get him poisoned or something.
To his surprise, the more he ate it, though, the smaller the grass seemed to get. Huh! killsteal was no scientist, but he knew shrooms didn't normally have that power. Everything here didn't make a lick of sense . . . But at least it was a happy accident that let him continue onward.

the0racle came to the exit of the side quest, and she was far too large at her current size to climb up the lilypads. She grabbed her medium mushroom, stuffed it in her mouth, and sadly relinquished her hold on being super large and super cool. If it wasn't for the sweet promise of loot, she would have just remained at her ginormous size. Instead, she was pulling herself up and climbing over lily pads to reach the exit and obtain her prize.
Levels and loots were really amazing!

Holy s**t she was huge. Finally stumbling across a normal sized hole, OCTOPU55Y had thrown away her huge mushroom, not needing the stalk. Taking a big, large bite out of the normal one, OCTO munched on it, munch munch munch, until she was finally her normal height. She climbed through the hole, and as it turned out, she had reached the exit! OCTO fist pumped. Hell yes. She was the best at these games. The beeesst. As soon as she walked in, she felt herself grow stronger again-- another level? Level 4, get. Reaching in and taking a card, OCTO grinned to herself, feeling accomplished as she left the quest place.

He went along for who knew how long before finding a new set of lilly pads to cross. Naturally, he was a bit too big for them, or else they'd probably get squished--although killsteal delighted in the idea of squishing something. With a mournful sigh, he dug for his other mushroom and chomped down, returning to his usual size. Goodbye, perfect destructive giant ideas . . .
He clamberd up the set of lilly pads without too much trouble, and his eye beheld the treasure awaiting: yessssss. No annoying ******** trees babbling about imaginary friends or whacking him with pointing arms. Good ol', real nice, loot.

B.B bounced around the woods, looking for new discoveries or just encounters. When she came arcoss a bunch of lily pads, she heard someone talking, in a mature woman voice. Treasure! How can a game without rewards? The rabbit was tempted but she also knew the lily pads were too small for she to actually climb. She needed to be smaller to do so. Z sighed and drew the girl's attention. The rabbit girl jumped over and saw mushrooms in different three standard sizes and labelled with short descriptions. Which two to pick?
< Take the small and medium one. You need the small to make yourself smaller and you need the medium to change back.>
