I chose Fennekin because it's temperamental, but it always tries to do best by its trainer - much like Gabriel as Natron, who tends to be easy to goad into a fight but really really just wants to do his best by the Negaverse. Also, much like Fennekin, he's only gotten prettier as he's evolved.

Charizard is firey, tempermental, and Rage is one of his most powerful attacks. Quinn having a hell of a temper makes me think that it's perfect for her. Also it's my favorite Pokemon, whatevs 8D And I chose tough because none of the others make sense for Quinn~

Its colours and tendency to hide from danger suit her well. Cute because even though Gigi is 18, she can't let go of the girly look, and it also suits her hasty and naive nature. I was originally looking for a smart electric type to go with her coffee sphere, but right now she's definitely still a normal type - weak to fighting, with no resistance. ^_^
