He wasn't hitting the harpies for any spectacular damage but he certainly was trying. Tiletk decided this was very much fun.

Excited to continue her exploration of the world, Annabell hurried on to the next area, laughing when her long hair was swept up in some wind. This area was so rickety looking but there looked to be something interesting up at the top of the cliffs. And look! Conveniently placed stairs! Why not give it a go?

After a few seconds he managed to spot a weakness in their defenses and went for it with a sudden loud celebratory shout.
There was a lot of unhappy screeching as well.

The stairs up were rickety, sure, but they weren't all that bad! The trek wasn't easy, of course, but it was fun in an odd, excited to be completing an accomplishment type way. And with a congratulatory little nod of her head, Annabell managed to get to the next area to find... A bridge. Oh. Well then.

It seemed that the harpies were getting impatient as was Sevy, one of them swooping down to attempt to peck out his eyes which he managed to parry with his bade in addition to grazing its side.

They were getting weaker and Tiletk enjoyed feeding off of their misery and pain. There was just something about the violence that was so satisfactory. Beating them down until they could no longer move.
And yet despite his maliciousness, Tiletk also respected them in a sense. Not once did he kick one when it was down at least not on purpose.

Then he finished them off and found that there was nothing left for him to do than to collect his rewards and to move on with his day.

The stairs had been one thing, but this bridge looked like a death trap. A really scary yet totally passable death trap. No way to know but to try it! Annabell took a deep breath and gingerly walked out across the bridge. Half way through it began to shake and, feeling her courage drain from her entirely, she raced the rest of the way across the bridge. But hey! She made it! Yay!
