Darian runs towards the stream, his cousin's life was not in danger but it would certainly be better for him to help Lael get the cut on her Kitara's side cleaned out. Upon arriving at the stream he fills the bucket and goes back as quickly as he can without spilling any water. He comes to the clearing and sets the water down beside Kitara. He feels the mood may need to be lightened slightly and jokingly says, "I think I beat my record."

Kitara Elvini revives to find Jay looking down at her and Darian, as well as Lael, nearby.
She smiles slightly, wincing at her side and her migraine, "What did I miss? Did I miss the whole party?"
She chuckles slightly before groaning, her right hand going to her side as her other one goes to her forehead, "Drat."

"You missed me beating my record for running from this clearing to the stream and back," Darian replies, "And a whole lot of us being worried about you. Other than that you didn't miss anything."

The elvish woman laughs before saying, "My darn migraines.... If only I didn't have them. And then, to add to it, I have this cut..."
Jay whistles to her and she nods, answering in English, "I know; I should have been more careful."

"These things happen," Darian replies, placing his hand on his cousin's shoulder, "Look at me for example. If I don't get any type of wound, even a small cut, I'm lucky. I have more scars than I can count."

She rolls her eyes, "I know, cousin, but I still should have been more careful. I also probably shouldn't have sold my chainmail a while ago..."
Her eyes move to her side and to the albino nearby. She sighs, closing her eyes, as Darian's hand stays on her shoulder and Jay continues to soothe her hair. The bluejay-elf takes Kitara's hand from her side, chiding her that she needs Lael's help.
"Lael, how bad is it? How deep?" she asks, holding Jay's hand tightly as she winces from her pain, "I hate being a wuss when it comes to pain...."

"It's not to deep, and it's a clead cut. You'll be fine if we can get it cleaned out and bandaged quickly." she looks at Darian. "Could you please start a fire and set the water to boil?" she asks. She moves to her battered pack and begins to prepair what she'll need to disinfect the wound. "There were some herbs not far off the path," she says. "They'll help with disinfecting the wound if we put them in the water. I'll go get them." She stands and moves a short ways into the forest.

Darian gathers fire wood and pulls out a piece of flint. After a few tries he finally manages to get the wood to light. The elf blows gently on the small burning coal in the center of the wood and soon has a fair sized blaze going.
(OOC:But, if he follows Lael then he's leaving Kitara. I decided that like most people, human or not, he would consider his family more of a priority.)

Keeping her eyes closed, the elvish lady sighs, "Why must I have these darn migraines? And they come at the best times ever.... My side doesn't hurt, though."
The elvish-bluejay rests a hand on her cheek, messaging her cheek to let her know he is there nearby. The other hand supports her head so that she is comfortable on his lap. He sighs, watching all that is happening around the elvish lady.

Darian sees how weak Kitara looks. "Damn!" he thinks, "What's taking Lael so lng with those herbs?"

Elvini opens her eyes to see her cousin nearby. She sees he is worried so she decides to say something as her migraine starts to ease up slightly and slowly.
She sighs, closing her eyes again, "Darian, don't be too worried about me. Once this darn migraine gets finished, it'll just be the scratch on my side to clean up. I will be fine and will make it through this. Just like your stab wound..."
Her eyes widen, "Cousin! Your stab wound! How are you doing with that?"

Lael comes back at a jog. "Sorry that took me so long!" she says. "The herbs were a bit further off the road than I thought they had been." She crumbles them into small pieces and drops them into the water. "We just need to wait for them to disolve now," she says.

Darian notices his cousin's concern. "It's fine," he reasures her, "Right now just worry about yourself."

Jay whistles something lowly and Kitara laughs, nodding in agreement with him.
Knowing that the others can't understand him, she says, "He thinks that we are definitely cousins, worried about each other more than ourselves. Also, Lael, that's fine. We can wait for a bit longer."
She asks Jay to help her sit up. After his help, she is found sitting at the bluejay-elf's left side, with her wound away from him. She leans on him a bit and he wraps an arm around her shoulder, holding her close as she rests by him.
