STAGE THREE Terra drowned in the plastic balls, giving up and sinking into the balls. She gave up, she thought, and was sucked down a tube and spat out. She let out a sigh of relief. "Ah, sweet ground," she said happily. Yes, she had failed, but the balls were gone-- One hit her in the head. Quote: 1-3 = Fail. Try as you might, the pit's whirlpool sucks you in. For a few moments you get the feeling of being pulled through a tube at the bottom, and without warning you're dumped back outside. At least you get a plastic colored ball spat at your head for your troubles?

As she approached the funhouse again, Astra heard the megaphone announcement, and she couldn't be more happier to hear it. She would have to try extra hard today to make it to the end!
Not wasting any time, the fae flew into the revolving room and bounced around the place, quickly making it to the next room.

She moved onwards, feeling rather familiar with the multiple reflections of herself watching....herself, move through the maze. She still took the time to make sure her dress was okay, before walking forwards and making it to the end of the maze in no time.

Astra then narrowed her eyes at the ball pit, gently lowing herself in to see if that would make a difference. It did not, and she was throughly thrown about the ball pit, getting another face full of awful glitter thanks to the gnome.
"Stop doing that!" She shouted, trying her best to get it off but it was already sticking to her hands. Eeewwww

It appeared the gnome must of had a lot of glitter today, as she was soon doused in more of the icky stuff. She shuddered, knowing she must look like a disco ball now. Or even worse, those really weird faeries who liked to cover themselves in the stuff.
It was just too gross to think about.

Ahh, she was so close! Astra reached out to grab at the ladder, but she was suddenly pulled away by the mass of churning balls.

"Alright Funhouse..." Normally the witch did not growl. But this called for serious time. "You've bested me twice with your odd mirrors, but this time... Oh this time I shall WIN!" A gloved hand awkwardly pointed at the various parts of the gate as Belladonna angrily stomped through it, straight up to the tilty floor room.
She would definitely win this time.
Since the witch had navigated the floors twice already, it wasn't much of a difficulty to do it again, though she did trip a few times. She blamed that on not being used to flat feet, never ever admitting it was actually because she had a hard time gauging the depth perception in this funhouse...

Panting with her efforts, Astra was able to move just so she didn't keep sinking under the mass of color and plastic. Though she found herself unable to moved forwards, as it felt like she was being pulled back every time she tried to get close to the ladder.

Now it was time for the dreaded mirrors. They were just so confusing and claustrophobic with how close they were and and and....
Maybe if she hurried it'd be easier?
Only a few hasty steps were taken before the witch caught a particular angle she had not noticed before. In that angle, the back portion of her dress looked awfully short... She quickly turned to gauge it with the front, only to bump her shoulder into one of the panes. With a gasp she saw an enlarged version of her face that gasped too, before one eye closed.
She winked at herself.
Nope.

Beofre she realized what was happening, Astra was pulled under byt eh balls, and suddenly found herself being sucked through a tube, only to be thrown back outside the funhouse.
She then sat on the floor and sulked. The funhouse was mean, she didn't like it so much anymore...

Belladonna was not ok with winking at herself when she hadn't really done that nope nope nope
Unfortunately, she noped so hard that she somehow made it all the way back to the entrance. That made a tiny whine escape her throat, worry and fear coalescing into a small whimper as she turned a circle, confusing herself all the more.

"Just stay calm." She told herself, which was really a bad idea because at least twenty other Belladonna's mimicked the action, some in slowed timed thanks to the warping of the glass. Which really only served to freak the witch out that much more.
What was worse than breaking a mirror?
Not being able to get out of it.
Just kidding. It was breaking a mirror a third time.
Panic caused the witch to bolt forward, bump into a mirror and then flail her arms in panic over the idea of that glass breaking. Thankfully the one she hit did not, but the one that hit her flailing hand did.
As unfortunate as it was to have broken three mirrors (a sure sign of misfortune to follow), it at least meant she was able to get out of the mirror room....

Phoneless, and definitely alone at some point, Amarus would use the time to explore the event. Hopefully this year at prom she would not become tiny and half-naked; thanks, acid cream. However, as she saw the signs leading the way into the funhouse, it was unfortunate that they should be worded in such a way that made her feel like she was probably going to regret this.
Oh well.
For the first part, it was a room with strangely tilted floors. Amarus, not for the first time in her ghostly existence, was suddenly grateful that she did not need to touch the ground when she walked. She did, however, keep her eyes mostly shut to ward off the glitter glow. How distasteful.
Perhaps it was payback from the time she had tied them to sleds, finally revenge come to roost, but more likely the gnome was merely bored: a carnie gnome kept calling out obscenities at her, and Amarus couldn't quite reach it to pummel it into a pulp.
She folded her hands into a kuji-kiri to calm herself, and continued.
