Bella, genuinely amused this time, nodded. "I see. Well I'm no matron. They wouldn't learn anything from me except to steer clear. But Ama there was a soft spot for young."
Ama nodded vigorously. "Pups are darling!"

"Well if you two want to stay here, we'd be willing to take you in." Smith was being polite to get what he wanted, as per usual. He then looked to Cypher, "You should listen to everything they say, unless it goes against what I say, understood?"

Cypher sighed, looking rather upset.
"Yes sir..."
Damnit why did he need new babysitters?! He had been good! Unlike the arrogant Lunaris who was still inside. Why wasn't he getting lectured too?!

Bella considered this for a few moments. "I think a temporary arrangement would be a nice idea. It will be good to stop for awhile." She nodded to Smith and as far as she was concerned that was that.
Ama grinned. "I get to play with furhead!"

"Good enough for me. I'll be heading back inside now, so long as you all leave me alone we'll be fine. Oh, and the little runt inside is named Lunaris." Smith turned his attention to Cypher, "Drag him out here and introduce him, and don't let him have any fun, he's had enough for a life time." This was the last they heard from Smith as he stepped through the opening and went to lay down in his normal spot.

He didn't sound as enthusiastic as he had in the past, it seemed he was getting annoyed with the growing number of Tala and the total lack of attention, praise mostly, from Smith. Ama was great and all....but that was just creepy love. Cypher would have been really happy if Smith would have finished praising him for his invention earlier..
Oh well...maybe some other time...
Head hanging, the pup trudged off inside to retrieve his assistant. A few moments later he returned, dragging Lunaris along with him.
"LEMMEGO!!"
The tiny silver fox marked pup squirmed wildly, batting at the larger pup who held him.
Once Cypher deemed himself close enough, he dropped Lunaris down in front of the two adults.
"This is Lunaris...."
The mini immediately hopped up, dusting himself off with a snarl.

Bella watched in less than amusement. She didn't really like kids; they were loud and noisy, much like Amaranta actually. But she put up with her sister regardless. She reserved any comments and looked off toward the water, feigning boredom.
Ama grinned. "HE'S SO TINY!!!!!!!!!!!! HELLO, LITTLE GUY!!! What's youuuuur name?" Her tail swished happily.

Unknown to Bella, Ama, and Lunaris, when Cypher has come in to grab his little assistant the sly Smith shoved the second ear piece into the pup Tala's ear. He spoke once more to Cypher saying simply this, "Keep it on, and make it seem like it isn't on, I want to know our new 'friends' a bit more."

Cypher replied quietly while Ama was busy squeeing over Lunaris. The fact his invention was being used seemed to lift the pup's spirits a bit.
"HELLO? He just told you my name is Lunaris! Duh!"
Lunaris growled, ears flattening back against his skull.
"You reallyyyyyy must be a smart one, huh?"

Ama giggled. "You're sassy! That is so cute!!!" She moved to hug the little pup.
Bella groaned and inched in the direction of the cave; she was sick of pleasantries or the lack thereof and wanted to explore a bit.

Lunaris snarled, quickly turning and fleeing from the pink female. She was WAY too touchy-feely for his own comfort. The purple one however, seemed to have more sense, and Lunaris ran to her to escape from the giggling Ama.
Cypher watched his assistant run off, snickering a bit. Little runt deserved it.

Bella glanced down at the small pup. He was much smaller than Cypher; perhaps he was one of those "mini's" that she had heard about. "Why are you following me?"
Ama looked crestfallen for a moment before turning back to Cypher. "Can I try on the sunglasses?!?!"

Lunaris replied shortly, blinking up at Bella.
Cypher's attention snapped back to Ama.
"No....I'm pretty sure they wouldn't fit you..."
Cypher thought for a moment.
"Besides...wouldn't you want a different pair of sunglasses? To be unique?"

Ama tilted her head, thinking about it long and hard. After much deliberation she looks down at Cypher. "No?"
Bella snorted. "That's my sister you're insulting." She narrowed her eyes and considered kicking him away from her, but stood still instead, glaring.
