Cameron paused, listening to the Captain's challenge before, without additional comment, sitting down, a hand still toying with his lead Pokemon's capsule, ready to release him at even the most minor of threats. "...I was hoping you'd have an... opening available, mind if I apply" he asks, without truly asking, there is no question in his tone, just a simple sentence that offers a choice, and makes clear he does not want denied.

"Excellent! How much do you know about Team Gamma? I hear one of their elite soldiers is the one that vanished and they are looking for a replacement that is competent. They might be testing him to see what his skillsets are by challenging him to track down some low level trainer that is connected to the disappearance of the previous elite soldier. That's merely speculation. Do you follow?" Tenebrae took another sip of his orange juice. "There is competition for this job opening. Thought you should know about that."
"Alright!" Apollo said. More dragons and more friends. Lucina stood dumbfounded. Then she realized something. It did that on purpose. " Hey why'd you do that on purpose!?" She shouted. She was shouting at the Haxorus, but it wasn't quite clear. Zane laughed.

The Teenager stood there with a rather bored look on his face as he watch the battle continue as he realized the blonde haired trainer was going easy on them,Still it was something he could continue watching after he found some to eat as he still had yet to eat something ever since he got off of that forsaken island,He turned his head to look at his partner to see if he to would want something as well but as he could clearly see he was preoccupied from being currently petted by the little girl as he saw the relaxed look his partner made as this caused him to grin slightly.
He turned his head to look for a food stand or at the least anything that would sell any type if food,He was clearly happy as he noticed a cafe not that far from here,Quite eager to eat food he walked towards it in a calm walking pace as he got closer and closer towards it,It didn't take long for him to reach the cafe however it was up to this point that he noticed two other people talking to each however he didn't pay much attention to it as the aroma of food called for him,He then looked at the cashier as asked for a large cheese burger and five bag's Pokemon food the cashier replied that he was going to have wait for the burger but he did grab five bag's of Pokemon food(The type's of bags you put popcorn in.)
Once the cashier did this he held out his hand and asked for some money,He reached into his pocket and pulled out his black colored wallet and pulled out some Pokecash as handed him 2780 Pokedollar's,(lol I forgot the name of of the Money)Once he did this he grabbed all five the bags and brought them with him to a lone table as he sat there and waited for the man to finish making the burger.
(We kinda make up the price ranges as we go along. I've been calling em pokedollars. Time to introduce the guy to Darkrai and I need to introduce the other legendary pokemon to their future partners. I know I should add more detail but laziness.)
244 years ago, the cult known as the Order of Darkrai terrorized the populace of Luna, then a small village dedicated to the pokemon of the moon. They conducted dark rituals worshipping nightmares and chanted strange rituals under the new moon and rumors abounded of blood being spilled in the darkness.
Simply put, Darkrai was a little flattered about the worship but told them to knock it off already with the blood rituals. When he started making personal appearances at the gatherings people realized worshipping nightmares wasn't as cool as it sounded and gave it up in favor of a decent night's sleep. Copies of the cult's sacred texts were mostly destroyed and forgotten in musty basements. Many years later, an eight year old digging through a library found one such book and thought it was the coolest thing ever. He had a run in with bullies last week and decided they needed a nightmare or two. He dragged his two best friends along for the ride and they grudgingly helped.
"Bring forth the altar of darkness and shadows!... Is that your kitchen table?"
"Yeah, it was a pain to get it here. Mom gave me the look too. You know how I am with blood too so I got some cranberry juice!"
"Yeah, good idea. Blood's icky. Next, we need some binding cords. You got 'em Susie?"
"Yeah, I got black too!" Susie held up a ball of black fluffy yarn for approval.
"Okay... Now we need a sacrificial victim-Don't look at me like that! They aren't getting killed or anything, they're just gonna have nightmares tonight."
"That doesn't seem very nice..."
"I'll get some of mom's peanut butter cookies."
Much debate later the trip of wannabe cultists were looking around Luna Boardwalk for a sacrifice to Darkrai but no one was volunteering oddly enough. Down the boardwalk Jerry, the ringleader, spotted May. He decided after asking her he'd just give up and come up with a new plan. He approached the girl petting the luxray and coughed. "Hey, you want to help me and my friends? We need a sacrificial victim for a play rehearsal. You wouldn't have any speaking lines just kinda scream a bit. Please? No one else would and I've been looking for hours!"
May looked up and didn't stop rubbing the fluffy ears and blinked at the kid her age. "That's weird. You've been asking random strangers? I don't even know who you are."
"I'm Jerry! I live a few blocks from here."
"And I'm May! I guess I can help but I can't stay too long I don't want to make my friends worry." The little girl started scribbling a note in an almost illegible scrawl and ran around the battlefield to give Marple back with the note. She waved to Zane and said quickly, "I'm going to go help out my new friend! That's his address and you can call me on my X-Transciever if you can't find it! I'm gonna be a actress!" Then ran back to the Luxray and repeated herself with another rub of the fluffy ears so he wouldn't be too upset with her.
The two chatted happily and Jerry's cohorts were really happy about finding a victim for the sacrifice to Darkrai. May, Susie, and Thomas had cookies and milk as they watched Jerry set up the candles and kitchen tabl- Altar. He had to stop and shout at them a few times to stop asking endless questions. May was happy to have found new friends her age and the cookies were delicious.
May really wasn't in danger since Darkrai was never going to show up... was he?

" Um, okay May. Have fun, don't run into Team Gamma and be safe." Zane called out as May ran off. He sighed and kept watching the battle.

Isaiah watches as Isaac willingly takes the Joltik's thunder wave, and is disappointed when it isn't even enough to look like he could be paralyzed, forbidding the choice of feigning paralysis to avoid fighting altogether, but he does not retaliate, and watches the Joltik for several seconds, giving him a second chance. "Drako, get up, and finish this fight." he says, to the Haxourus getting to its feet, both hands white with eminent false swipes.

Cameron listens to the Gamma Captain's offer of a job within Team Gamma, and what might be required with a dazed, uninterested look, suddenly snapping into focus at the idea of competition, "no, there isn't any competition for the opening, you just think there is due to multiple applicants." he claims, "I know more than I probably should, I've been tailing many high-ranking officers and have determined them to weak to be of a threat, just tell me what to do, and with me added to your roster, no group of haphazard children will challenge Team Gamma again." he says, anger almost visible around the dark hearted boy.

"Did what on purpo-Try again Thursday! Oh drat. Jump!"
The little yellow speck of a Joltik skittered across the field with electricity charging in its fuzz. Warnings came too late. Over it the swift attack of Drako came like a freight train. The false swipe smacked her aside and Thursday landed under Isaac then let go of the Thunder Wave without looking up. Thursday could hear the massive wings of the Charizard but it was still a massive risk since Lucina's pokemon could have been in the way.
"Joltiktik."* ------------------------------------------------------- Dr. Tenebrae smiled "Good to hear. Here is a tracker with the location of a pokemon belonging to a haphazard child who challenged our base of operations here. Her pokemon were weak so she was unsuccessful but she did divert attention from another group of children who had made it inside somehow. That is their tracking device indicated there and they are a little more competent. What you do will be evaluated. You begin now." The tracker handed over to Cameron Stein was the one tracing Nancy's Magikarp and Apollo's rare candy.

(As far as I understand there's a mystery guy who's just arrived by boat with a Luxray who is in need of a meeting with Darkrai. Since being normal is boring I'm introducing him to Darkrai via some 8 year olds trying to sacrifice May to Darkrai with peanut butter cookies and some yarn after May has been making the Luxray happy with ear-scritches. Mystery guy bought food. Now for the complicated stuff: As for the main group they are focused on the battle with the haxorus and the Charizard. Nancy is finally beginning to pick up on Isaiah losing on purpose and her Joltik is down to 1 hp after false swipe but got in one last thunder wave. I forget what Lucina's pokemon are doing, What was your character doing? I should probably go read all that again... Tenebrae just told Cameron to deal with the pests as test. He's actually going to be a problem for our heroes. Then again this may be inaccurate.)
Back in the basement of Jerry's house complete with pink curtains his mother put there to make the place more cheerful...
The revival of the cult of Darkrai had come! May, Susie, and Thomas watched Jerry put the last of the touches on the ritual set up of the altar of darkness. He made sure everybody was clear on what they were doing as he got the few remaining peanut butter cookies.
"Okay, May, you're the sacrificial victim for Darkrai so you don't have to do anything, we're just tying you up with the shadowy cords and we'll do the rest."
"You don't have to actually tie me up since it's a rehearsal though right? What's the play called?"
"Hey, we don't have to tie her up right? We could just kinda wrap the yarn around her arms a bit."
"She's a sacrificial victim!"
"Then why did we give her cookies?" Thomas asked as Jerry tried to come up with an answer. May thought they were being awfully serious about their rehearsals. It took a lot of coaxing to get everybody in position and May held the yarn up while sitting on the table. Susie shifted uncomfortably from one foot to the other while Jerry droned on. They were all somewhat surprised when Jerry stopped and looked around.
"That's the entire ritual. He should show up now..."
"I thought this was a play rehearsal?"
"Nothing happened."
"Anytime you come back to Luna, come play with us again! I told Jerry nothing was going to happen." Thomas helped May get down from the table and pick up the yarn when the hairs on the back of his neck stood up. The four eight-year-olds all turned simultaneously to the circle drawn in cranberry juice where Darkrai was supposed to appear during a successful ceremony. To their horror the darkness pooled in it and they were all petrified with fear as Darkrai emerged from the ground.
He peered into the chalice set before the circle and gave a sniff. "Ooooo this is cranberry juice. I like this new cult. I just had some cola though so I'll pass for now, thanks. Who's good dreams do I get to destroy?"
Three little children ran screaming leaving just a pale Jerry behind staring. Darkrai muttered something about things being hard when people took him so darn seriously.
May ran back to Zane and hid under the bench. Thomas and Susie were not far behind and May stammered. "Z-zane, there's a really scary pokemon!"

Nick appeared as he arrived in the room from the melting shadow like an elevator ride. He felt a little sick after a couple of seconds, it was kinda strange for a person to be trained in the psychic arts to feel sick after going through mental trials for years. "What the...?! How the hell... I don't even wanna know. Well that was faster than I anticipated. That taco is catching up with me and next time give me a warning!" Nick rambled as he noticed the mess of yarn and juice all over the floor. At the moment he heard a little girl's voice who he recognized after 10 years, it was something hard to swallow, but he grew out of it after a moment. He walked out of the circle and looked at Darkrai "Are these the 'fans' you were talking about? They don't seem like it."
"I don't know teleport silly. It's more fun to take the shadows. I think I scared the kids a bit. They took my joking a bit seri-"
"Joking? You were joking?" the remaining little boy said uncertainly still frozen in place by fear. Darkrai nodded and plucked the book from Jerry's hands to flip through the pages and confirm that it was indeed genuine. He looked rather happy to find that people still remembered he existed and seemed to forget Nick was there.
"Relax would ya? Unfortunately nightmares do happen to people who spend too much time with me... Where'd this come from? No one's performed the ceremonies in years. I thought all the tomes were destroyed. You were an admirable shadow-orator little guy. Would you please not do that again? I don't want to get lectured by Cresselia again." Darkrai opened the curtains of the basement window to let in light and it illuminated the mess. Jerry went from being scared of Darkrai to pure terror. His mother would ground him forever.

Nick shrugged and walked past the lot of them. He didn't even glance at the little girl, he also was trying to find his way out. It took a moment before he realized that he could just teleport out. "Darkrai, I'll see you in a bit. I'll say my peace to Nancy." He said by thought. A dim glimmer of light came out of him like an aura and he vanished. Moments later he appeared a few meters behind Nancy and looked in her direction. Apparently she was battling and it didn't surprise him that she was losing, it brought back memories. Nick found it strange, always having random memories at this period of time. He sat down on the ground with both of his legs making arches while his arms rested on his knees. He wondered what she would do at this point and if she'd ever notice her.
"Amphy dodge it!!" Lucina shouted. Amphy dodged it. " Alright use Discharge!" She shouted as the Amphy let lose a wave of electricity. She returned it and threw out Rio her Lucario. The Lucario waited for a command.
