"STEEL CHAIR! STEEL CHAIR! STEEL CHAIR!" The announcer yelled into the headset fervently as the item bent from the impact, folding around the shadowman's skull as blood splattered out from the side and its legs gave out on it and it crumbled. And before it even hit the ground, it would dissipate into dust and disappear as if there was a breeze.
Wait... announcer?

"..."
He waited... bent steel chair in one hand hanging limply at his side. He waited, for any sign of that pressence coming back.
"If you're out there..."
This guy...
"If you can hear me..."
He may be rough...
"Come to the Leviathan Stadium in 36 days."
He had potential.

Ah, a window of opportunity to get out without appearing rude. Of course they had already crashed whatever party was going on, but now they were being told to leave and would make the transition easier. "Sorry about that, c'mon D." With a smile on his face and getting a hold of D's arm, he proceeded towards the accent.

The streets outside were very quaint, though also very narrow. Clean, cobbled streets, surrounded on all sides by buildings and houses in a good state of repair. It seemed like the perfect little hamlet... except that it was hardly little.
This village atmosphere would continue for a good distance in every direction, before seamlessly merging into other types of landscape; from tall city buildings to spread out suburbs, even vast expanses of grassland with hardly a building to be seen. It was as if each part of the city conformed with the desires of those who lived there, taking shape to suit their needs and ideal lifestyles... or perhaps just what they were used to in life.
To the left (as there was no real way if indicating north or south here) the small sidestreet that they were on would merge with a larger road that ran through the district. It was a little ways off, but there seemed to be a procession of sorts on the road: several figures dressed in black robes were walking towards a large structure in the distance, and everyone seemed to be giving them more than their fair share of room as they did it.

((Do I have to? You do it so well! I never thought of the different locales, thats perfect! xd )) Ruuvan "I mean my friend, he's a bit jumpy." ::Jumpy? What does that mean? Excitedly he turned to face Ruuvan to ask what being Jumpy meant, but found that part of the coat was stuck on a piece of his armor, placing a piece of furry material under his foot. At which place gravity took hold and smacked him into the ground with a clang. Its hard enough walking around in full plate. Immediately she scurried back to his feet looking rather embarassed and pointing at himself:: Jumpy? M-me? ::But after asking, without waiting for the answer he began checking himself for other foriegn pieces of clothing, and for "jumps", or "jumping", or "jumpies". And while doing so followed Ruuvan outside, into the street, finally realizing that he was clean and without jumpies. His eyes widened glowing brightly as he took in the surroundings.:: Ooooh! I've never been to the Village! ::Without warning he immediately took to running about, investigating windows and the streets and such. Until his eyes stumbled onto the black parade. He froze in mid speech.:: I was only in the Cit-- :: D almost looked hypnotized by the members of the very sight of them, his arms fell limp at his side like giant black statue with gigantic black sword.::

(( Mainly because I'm on so seldom lately... and we've kind of got a timetable we need to stick to. Y'know? ))
None of them looked over, they didn't need to. Perhaps they were on patrol, but there was very little patrolling to do... this place was paradise. Anyone could have anything that they wanted with little more than a thought. However, the human element is a constantly changing thing, even men and women of pure hearts can change in time.
The Reaper Corps were not here to keep order... they were here to ensure the fear of God that kept order.
...and the procession moved on, towards a great gathering in the distance.

Why were children so chirpy and full of energy all the time; even when carrying a huge set of plate armour on his shoulders, D managed to maintain the bouncy, childlike persona that was Little D.
Watching D run around with a bemused look on his face, it wasn't until he stopped that Ruuvan faced down the street and noticed the large marching formation of black figures - something big was obviously happening. "You alright, D?" He shook the child gently, waiting for any response before he started off towards said procession.

M..maybe Big Brudders in there...
::He said almost nervously, remembering the encounter the group had just had with a set of Reaper drones before setting off on their journey here. This was the last place he saw his big brother, and that was the last uniform he was wearing when he saw him. Part of him knew that he was never supposed to come back here, and part of him wanted to check every Reaper Drone in that crowd until he found his brother...
The idea of staying behind and looking for his brother rose up rather high, but D did something unique today. He grew up just a little, and turned away from the Reapers and toward Ruuvan, with a smile. His sharp teeth glistening behind his helm.::
We should pwobabwy stay away fwom dem, dhey might know we dont belong. C'mon Mr. Ugwy Ewf! Lemme show you were me and big brudder stayed!
::And with a loud series of clangs he ran off down the street.::

The kid had a point, even if the drones sent for them were now trapped by Josh, others might catch on and turn to chasing them. "Lead on." He said quietly as D went running off, following after the large wad of armour as they moved down the street. He had no idea where they were going, he was even having trouble believing this is what heaven looked like, but if it meant finding Maximos then it was all worth it.

:: D ran for only a few minutes before pulling into something that looked very much like a bus stop. And he stood up, inside it next to a varrying array of creatures and people, all waiting for the tram. He got more than his fair share of odd looks from the people dressed in white suits and ties, staring at the child in giant full plated black armor, with a few red stains and a giant sword.
Patience is a virtue, as such, everyone in Heaven being virtuous waited patiently for the tram. Including D, who tapped his feet and rocked back and forther from heel to toe.
Until, in something of a flash of light, there it was.
The Light Tram looked like a severed train head. It sloped down in the front and seemed to ride on 4 pockets of light which kept it a good 2ft off the ground. It was smooth, aerodynamic, and of course, sparkling clean. A couple dozen humans and creatures alike stepped off, and D and several others stepped on. A single angel visible through the cockpit window waved to Ruuvan and smiled, hinting for him to board as well.::

An Angel, eh? Well that was certainly a change from the fat guys who ran the transport system down on Gaia, a sight he would much rather forget than dwell on. Returning the wave and smiling himself, the Elven armour clad figure stepped onto the tram behind D and waited for the thing to head off. Of course he felt out of place against the people in white suits, not to mention D in full black armour, but he was enjoying looking his old self again.

"The tram will be departing in 30 seconds."
::The angelic voice flowed out from the front of the tram, warning all would be passengers their ride was about to depart. It door stood open, as the sound of an angelic chorus filled in innards of the train. It wasnt perfect, but it beat elevator music. Should Ruuvan and D have gone through the check in process the speaker would be blaring whatever song they wanted to hear most, or would like most. Or even silence if they were in a quiet mood. Though the chorus was temporarily stopped as the pilots voice came back over the speaker system.::
"Next stop ---"
::Strange, his sentence just cut off. There was a flash of light as the train took off. Through the windows one could see the landscape pass by at blinding speed. There were villa's for just a second or two before tall grass, and soon forest, one could swear they zoomed right over a beach and then made a change in altitude to climb by a mountain. Though one would expect a visual like that from a high speed vehicle what one wouldnt expect is to see passengers simply...vanishing, as the Tram moved. A woman standing there would simply fade away. Were people being horrifically lost? No. But not everyone that boarded that tram had the same destination. With a simple warble of time, the other passengers experience motion while time and space for that individual returns to normal speed and allows them to exist the vehicle at their desired location. And in less than the time it would take D to stumble through the alphabet....the tram came to a stop. There was no sudden jerking, it simply stopped, inertia fading to nothingness as the doors opened, on the side of the bus opposite them.
Odd, since there was a tram door directly beside Ruuvan, but as they werent registered citizens, this was there time to move. And move D did, running out of the tram into the sprawling landscape before them.
A city. Skyscrapers stabbed into the air, the streets were bustling with the scents of angelic and citizen run businesses, and the sounds of thousands of people talking, and cars gliding past. No foul emissions, no rotting garbage, and most definately no stains on any walls, or streets. But there were tons on tons of people. D stared up at the city with awe, he never thought he'd have been able to return here again, and then without warning he shouted.::
This way!
::And took off, down the street, dodging and weaving through the crowds.::

Ruuvan was one of these people who often thought about time, the whole relativity of it depending on what you're doing and how the mind makes it go faster or slower, it was definitely a strange thing. For instance, if one was in Cryogenic stasis, or simply sleeping, time would pass in an instant to them - falling asleep and then waking up when it was morning, accounting for dreams and such - whilst people who were awake would experience it quicker. All of the above was exactly what Ruuvan figured was happening as people started vanishing from the tram whilst he remained in his own time; all very confusing.
As soon as the tram stopped and D went running out, Ruu figured they'd only have a small amount of time to get off before it went around Heaven all over again. Quickly leaving the tram in as orderly a fashion as possible, he quickly darted after the black armoured man. Weaving through the crowd seemed effortless, even more so than usual, his whole body seeming to flow like a liquid around the many patrons of this specific section; it was awesome as D would say.

::Skipping hopping, ducking, dodging, last minute terms that would make the difference between easing through a crowd and poking someones eye out, and all things associated with a 7 year old frolicing through a crowd...in full plate.
D was fast for his age and for his size, he had sme practice doing this it would seem, but he was no match for Ruuvan, if he knew where he was going the elf could have easily ducked and slithered through people and been at the destination while D tried to work past that couple holding hands.
The key difference here was that people saw the giant suit of black armor and attempted to move out of its way, people barely saw Ruuvan as little more than a flash of green and then dust in the wind. They didnt have time to dodge. If he were out to kill, he could be having a blood bath mimicking something the Destroyer might do yet not a soul that identified him would survive long enough to scream in agony. But nay...Ruuvan was better than that, he followed effortlessly behind D.
And the child seemed to know exactly where he was going. He would turn, turn, stop at certain lights, he even made a few shortcuts through back alleys. Even the back alleys of Heaven are sparkling clean and garbage free. D ran for what had to be a good 20 minutes without a clean stop and yet they werent even near a cities edge, and Ruu likely hadnt even begun to breathe differently, or break a sweat. Angels would probably like to claim that that was part of Heavens healing aura, but no...this was purely Ruu.
Finally, D came to a screeching hault in front of a single massive building. This buildings bottom floor seemed to be the size of a whole city block, and one might say it stretched up into the Heavens...but...well. Lets just say its topmost floor was not visible as it was above the clouds. Triumphantly D lifted his arms up, as if showing off the massive building and said.::
We're here!
::And without further adu, he charged the building like a knight charging into battle.::

Of course Ruuvan followed effortlessly, he was an Elemengal Elf after all, even the fatigue that would have stopped most people in their tracks hadn't even caught up to him; things were definitely different now he was his old self. Having to keep a slower pace than D, mainly so he could actually follow instead of running ahead and getting lost in what could've been the biggest city he'd ever seen, but he was enjoying the sight of a plate clad warrior bombing through the streets.
When they stopped, Ruuvan coming out of a blur of dodges and running to halt effortlessly next to D, he too took a moment to look at the huge building and admire the scale of it all; Heaven didn't do things by half, no sir. And just like that D was off again, Ruu quickly breaking into yet another run after the six foot child. They were so close, it was a gut feeling, and they were rarely wrong.
