Δngelia Ɉay Ͼonners ┏━━━━━━━━━┓ "I think that I shall never see A poem as lovely as a tree." ┗━━━━━━━━━┛ ┏━━━━━━━━━┓"A tree whose hungry mouth is prest Against the earth's sweet flowing breast."┗━━━━━━━━━┛ Δngelia stood the moment she saw Captain Russel Morgans appear once again. At the mention of her oak she felt her heart attempt to escape and she swallowed past the lump in her throat. Honestly , why did she feel so fragile all of the sudden? She had spent countless hours in front of the mirror making sure that whenever someone came to buy here she would not cry. She would not be angry. She would not feel. But of course, as soon as someone actually comes along, she just has to make a liar out of herself. At the moment, though, Angelia didn't care. All she wanted to do was merge with Oak and sleep, and work on making it healthy again.
Smiling she lightly patted the heads of the two girls that had attached themselves to her legs. "Yes, I do have a tree, Oak helps keep me alive." Though right now it is me who is keeping Oak alive, she thought, but didn't say it aloud because she didn't want to alarm the girls. "I'm not real sure on how to carry it though." It was so giant when they were first brought here but now it must look like a skinny little thing with barely any weight to it.
Gently, Angelia pried the girls hands away from her legs before holding them in her own. She was nervous to see how her oak had been fairing, but she followed her new master with her face blank, betraying nothing of her heart. Once they reached the basement, and the gargantuan doors were pulled aside, they entered a long hallway that branched away to other hallways, but they stayed straight, following the guard. As they grew closer, Angelia's heart beat faster until at last they rounded a corner, and there stood what was left of her once giant oak. Its limbs were bare, and the trunk thin and twisted. It rested in a large pot that, with the help of someone else, she could carry out of the building with minuscule difficulty. Slowly she dropped the girls hands and hesitantly went to her oak. She traced the bark with the tips of her fingers, reassuring it in her own way before dropping her hands to the pot and giving it a heave.
It slid slowly across the dust covered floor before stopping because she had to regain her balance. She looked at neither the captain nor his girls. She wouldn't ask for help. Her skinny legs strained to move the stupid thing a couple more times before Angelia, breathing profusely, propped herself up on the edge of the pot and took a breather.

Ashley's and Jinxx limo pulled up to the slave shop neither said a word as they pulled up. Jinxx was bouncing with excitement at the chance to make a new friend. And Ashley sat still hating the fact that his young sister was with him. With a stern look on his face Ash turn to look at his sister. Once she finally took notice of him Ash said to her "Jinxx if you come with me into the shop I require that you are as small as you can be and hiding. I refuse to have you hurt in some way. If you do not do as I say I will lock you in this car and not let you come at all." Jinxx so did not want to agree but she knew with out a shadow of a doubt that her brother meant what he said. "I will do as you say brother." Jinxx said. With out saying anything further Jinxx shrunk down to two inches and flew to right behind Ashes ear. When she had a firm hold on his ear Ashley left the car and walked in to the slave shop. Once Ash was inside he right away went and said hello to the mistress of the establishment. After talking to her for a bit Ash left the room in search of the room that Bo and Eshe where in. It did not take him long to find the door. "Now remember Jinxx not a word unless I say you can come out. Understood." Ashley said to his sister. "Yes brother." Jinxx said in his ear. After she said that Ashley knocked on the door to let Bo and Eshe that someone was there. Once he did that Ashley opened the door and walked in and said "Hello my name is Ash."

Eshe jumped at the sudden knock and soon found herself shaking. She looked to her brother, nervous and awaiting his direction. At the jerk of his head she smiled softly and ran to hide behind her brother. She tried to calm herself, managing only to stop her shaking slightly. Bomani sighed, Here we go again... he thought to himself as he clenched his fists and took his defensive yet protective stance in front of his sister who was hiding behind him as was her standard reaction to guests or anyone new. He knew that it would be hard to get her to speak again, starting this moment. He sighed and shook his head, then turned to address the male in front of him, his eyes fierce and unyielding. He squared his jaw and locked eyes with the male, "Bomani Jabari," he said before stepping slightly to the side to show his trembling sister, "And this is Eshe Jabari, my younger sister." Eshe mustered the courage to lift her head from the ground slightly to look at the man in front of her. Her trembling returning to her. She raised a shaking hand to wave her hello before fleeing back to stand behind her brother, her hands gripping his shirt as she allowed herself to peek out over his shoulder. This was strange for her, normally she kept her eyes down and not looking at all, but she couldn't help herself. This one was attractive, and had a scent to him she had never smelled before...And she couldn't help but smell a second scent, but she didn't see anyone else.

Ashley did not react to Bomani defensive stance nor his unyielding eyes. I truth he respect for Bo had just gone up. For Ashley knew that he was the same way with his own sister hence the reason why he had her hiding. With a soft chuckle Ashley said "I mean your sister or yourself no harm. I would sooner hurt or kill myself before I harmed a woman." Ashley leaned against the wall being careful of his wings and sister. As well as making sure his hands where right were they could see them at all times. While giving the siblings some space so not to scare the young lady any more than he already had on accident. "Why don't you tell me about yourselves?"

Bo growled lightly but relaxed lightly at seeing his hands and reading his body language. He sighed, "Alright then, you may stay... for now, lay a hand on my sister and I'll rip you to shreds with my teeth..." he said turning to his sister, his body language shifting to that of a comforting manner, "Eshe it's ok, I'm here and am not going anywhere. He will not hurt you while I breathe. Please do try to talk to him...it's sadly the only way we'll get out of here..." He said setting his sister gently down to sit on the bed. She tried to cling to him but he gently removed his arm from her iron grasp. Eshe began to tremble again and tried to keep her eyes cast down. But as she listened to her brother she calmed slightly. She allowed her eyes to raise to the new male's for a few seconds before blushing and looking down again. She opened her mouth after her brother pried her hands off of him. She gently and shyly raised her eyes again, and opened her mouth as if to say something but only managed a squeak. Bo sighed and shook his head, "She hasn't spoken to anyone other than myself since our cousin forced himself upon her." his sister let out a squeak of a sob and he rushed to her side and wrapped his arms around her, "It's alright...shhh....I know you don't like to talk about it. But it's something I have to explain about you." Once she nodded he continued, "We once were nobles, till our cousin assassinated our father and our mother ran away insane. He then betrayed us and seized control. But we did not remain there long, as I soon found him forcing himself upon Eshe and took action. Injuring him and getting us hunted inside our own kingdom....Until we packed and jumped out the window of our room. Upon which they presumed us dead. Eshe used to talk slightly more after that, but as we continued from master to master, they continued to try to force themselves upon her, and slowly she lost her voice to others. And is now this trembling girl before you." he sighed and crossed his arms over his chest and leaning back, "As for me there's not much to say other than I look out for my sister and protect her the best I can. And will do anything to keep her safe. ANYTHING, so don't try me." he said growling lightly.

Ashley gave a small and rare smile to Eshe. In hopes of letting her know that he meant no harm. As he heard Bo and Eshe story the more upset he became but he did not show it physically only his eyes showed how upset he was. 'Ones so young should never know this kind of betrayal nor that kind of hurt.' Ashley thought to himself. "If I was in your place I would do the same for my sister. I would like you two to meet her." Ashley said to them. "Jinxx come on out."
Jinxx flew out from behind Ashley ear where she had been the whole time listening. She hovered around by Ashley's face keeping close to him but allowing Bo and Eshe to see her for them selves. "Hello I am Jinxx. I hope we can be friends. Sorry I haven't come out till now but brother asked me to stay hidden." Jinxx wanted to fly over to Eshe and give her a hug but she did not want to upset Bo or her own brother in the process. Jinxx really started to look at Bo and thought to herself 'Bo is really cute.'
Ashley shook his head at his sisters antics even though she had not said anything yet he knew that she would demand that they take them to their home. And he was not going to argue with her. It would be a wasted battle and plus he wanted to take them home to and help the girl heal and hopefully learn to trust and talk again to others besides her brother.
Jinxx started doing air acrobatics to try to make Eshe smile and to stop crying. Because she didn't like it when others cried. Because Jinxx was such a happy person that she like to make others happy as well. "Say Eshe would you like to play sometime? It must be weird for you to here me ask that huh specially since I'm 120. But I thought it might make you smile because you are really pretty and all and everybody should be happy...." Ashley quickly put his pinkie over top of his sisters mouth and said "Jinxx calm your rambling." It appeared to Ashley that Jinxx was nervous for some reason and he did not know what to do. Ashley slowly removed his finger from Jinxx mouth knowing that he would pay later for that stunt. But he could not bring himself to care.

Ah, this little nymph was so… invigorating. He was cheeky, definitely, and Brayden would surely give the sage haired nymph freedom to run that mouth, as long as it didn’t get too bad. If it did, well that was another story. Brayden wouldn’t’ tolerate disrespect. No. He would let the little nymph run himself all the way to the leash’s edge before he tugged him back to step one to be at his heels. It would not be becoming to have a little foul mouthed nymph running all over his home and ruining his transactions. No. That would not be acceptable, and so he would keep his little nymph in line, that was, if they ever got out of this room. Currently, after the command to get dressed, the sage-haired nymph was taking his sweet, sweet time in getting dressed. It was making Brayden more than impatient. The smart words that went with the whole transaction were not helping to keep Brayden’s patience at a tolerable level either. Truthfully, the nymph was taking far too long and starting to get on his nerves, but Brayden was determined to take the nymph home with him. The nymph would just be a handful. He had already gathered this through the way the nymph spoke, and Brayden would not allow himself to be surprised by any potential curves thrown his way. Surely the nymph would at least try to shock him to oblivion? If not shock, then push his buttons until they couldn’t be pressed any further. And that was just not something that Brayden was looking forward to experiencing if he was being plenty honest. He gave a bored sigh as the nymph finally finished pulling up his pants and then threw on the shirt. Assessing the nymph’s apparel, Brayden was not pleased, but he would have a personal tailor come in and make a wardrobe for the nymph.
Once the task of dressing was done, the nymph gave his name as Ash. How fitting. Brayden gave a terse nod in understanding, just as he processed the second part of the comment and narrowed his eyes. Ash really didn’t want to make this easy. The clothes, while they were indeed clothes, were damn near transparent. Brayden figured it was to cater to the nymph’s style of being free. After all, as a nymph, Ash must have been much more free with his form before he was sold into slavery. So the clothing of course, would not be restricting, and the calculating male thanked whoever was listening in on his thoughts that the garments at least had the dignity to cover the more private parts of the body. If they hadn’t been covered, truly, Brayden would have made the nymph change right there. As it was, Brayden was itching to make the nymph change, but he was almost certain Ash wouldn’t have anything that would gain approval through Brayden’s eyes. It would have been more of the revealing selections and flowing garments. Truthfully, Brayden preferred tailored things, and he would have to insist upon some for Ash when they got home but that was another matter entirely. Just as they seemed ready to leave, Brayden went to the door and knocked, ready to disembark the room and the house with his purchase, Ash dashed back to the bed, pulling something slender form under the pillow. Bray saw the flash of reflective light from the object in hand and realized it was a glass tube of some sort. Scrutinizing the piece, Brayden realized it was actually a pipe. So the little nymph was a smoker? How quickly he would learn.
Without speaking another word, the male left the room, hoping Ash would follow in two, after all the nymph didn’t sem like the type to wander. To flaunt everything in his bag of nymph tricks? Yes. But to wander? No. Bray would keep his selection close nonetheless. He ever went as far as to keep his strides short so that the nymph would be able to keep up easily. It was not long before they were on the first floor and in the office to speak with the woman. It was a rather tedious process, but Brayden could at least admire how organized the system was. It was effective for meeting the needs of both the Mistress as well as the individual customer, and Brayden smiled as he signed the paperwork and handed over the sum for the nymph rather gladly. Before leaving, eh shook hands with the Pallas woman and then took Ash’s shoulder in hand and steered him towards the door. ”Just be good until we get home alright? At least by then, I’ll know you have behaved while we face the world.” He didn’t need to say much more, as there wasn’t much more to say. He smiled gently, leading the sage-haired nymph outside and to a waiting car. Of course, Brayden was all about practicality and the scientific ways of things, so he had a car. As soon as he was inside, along with his purchase, he bid the driver to begin making his way to the modern home where he and Ash would be living. After all, the drive wouldn’t be that long, and it would be better to get Ash acclimated first, right? The built male nodded once to himself and then turned his gaze to the window, watching the scenery pass by as they started the journey home.

Eshe blinked now seeing the shifting and noticing the girl, she watched her in wonder. The sparkle of her wings intrigued her. She found herself watching her with(innocent) curious intent. Until she heard Jinxx's thought about her brother and giggled. She slowly removed her tail from hiding her face, blinking confusedly at it. When Had I let my tail show? she thought confused to herself. She shook her head and let her fluffy tail lay beside her, as she watched Jinxx do her tricks, she couldn't help the little squeal she made along with the light clap at watching her do all these flips and twirls. She then noticed Ash's eyes on her, and his smile and realized what she had just done and blushed, her tail automatically moving up to cover her face. Peeking out over her tail she smiled softly and nodded at Jinxx's question. Bomani raised an eyebrow, he had thought he had heard another set of wings moving, but had dismissed it, since he had never been around their kind much. His sister on the other hand had never had the fortune to ever come across any. So he couldn't help but smile at her reaction to the little one in front of her. Bomani nodded his hello to Jinxx and turned his attention back to Ash, "If what you say is true, then if you choose to take us under your wings, pardon my word choice...Then I can see us becoming good friends...that is if you are friends with your servants." he said watching Ash for his reaction. So far he seemed to be an alright guy, but his response to this question would tell him whether or not he could trust him with his sister. And just exactly what type of environment they'd be taking them. It was obvious they'd take them, otherwise they wouldn't have bothered to come to their room. They had been on the slave market long enough and enough times to know that if they were just looking they wouldn't enter but look at your file that is kept on hand.

There is nothing to fear... ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ Ѧяȼɐєϕ ӄɐʠɪӎ It took lots of prodding and coaxing to wake him once the truck pulled in at the shop. They eventually resorted to those horrible electric pokers, staying at a distance to avoid his paws. Arcaeo opened his eyes slowly, stretching his large feline bodies as the two guards backed off, holding their instruments of control in front of them as the puma stepped out of the back of the van. He yawned once more and gave a huff before letting his body morph back into his human form. With this, the guards turned off their weapons and placed them at their sides. Each one grabbed one of his arms and began to lead him towards the large brick building. It didn't look like any slave shop he'd ever had the pleasure of inhabiting, but they all were different in their own ways. Appearance must've been this one's strong point.
Through the doors, and a weapon check, then Arcaeo was off, up a flight of stairs to the shop level. There was a hallway full of doors, most shut, a few open with curious buyers peering in on the prime products before them. They pushed him along, and he dragged his feet, just to annoy the hell out of both of them. One of them, a burly dark-skinned man, stepped forward and unlocked the door to his room, while the other, a chubby girl with freckles and a short brown bob, wrote something on the pad of paper next to the door. It was probably his information, so whomever was roaming the halls could get a glimpse of the 'wonderful treasures' inside. When she put the pen back into her pocket, the man shoved him inside. the door closed immediately behind him, leaving him alone in his room.
It was obnoxiously lavish in all ways. Clean and crisp, it smelled of fabric softener and bleach. It was strange that these people weren't treating him like crap. After all, he was classified as 'possibly dangerous'. Most places would have him under chains, ball included, with a title like that. But no, he had a gorgeous bedroom and functioning bathroom. Almost too good to be true. Then again, they probably wanted to let the slaves have a nice time while they waited for some scumbag to cough up the dough needed to take home some unlucky b***h and treat them like a doormat. Might as well enjoy it while it lasted it. Arcaeo could see a shower in the bathroom. Good. He could use a good scrub down right now, and he was still a bit lethargic from the ride. The shape-shifter quickly stripped his clothes and started the shower, finding a washcloth, soap, and towel before stepping into the steamy water. Ⓞut Ⓞf Ⓒontrol ↔Who wants to interrupt mah shower? Even in the deepest darkness one will always find light The car had been driving for a while now. The roads were quiet, no one was around for miles it seemed. On such a nice day people were probably off enjoying the day at the park or something. Willow looked outside from the backseat of his car as they drove down the seemingly empty street. The sky was clear even though they were driving along Willow knew there was a nice breeze out today. The air smelled of the trees from along the side of the road Willow rather enjoied the smell, he did not know why.
After about another hour of driving, Willow could see the outline of a very lovely manor in the distance. Willow smiled to himself.'This must be Pallas Manor. This is the place a friend told me about, a place where for the right price I could get a companion. I brought plenty of money I am tired of being alone so I plan on leaving in the company of someone atleast.' Willow thought to himself as his car drew ever closer to the manor. Once they were close enough to pass the border of the property with the enchantments Willow felt strange. He held out his hand and tried to use his ability to call holy fire but nothing. 'It seems I am powerless while I am here. Well it is good to know things are well taken care of here.' Once the car stopped Willow got out, He then proceeded to the door, and went inside.
Once he was within the manor helooked around it was beautiful in here. everything was so much fancier then he expected. It took Willow a moment to notice that there was a butler staring him down, Willow found it a bit creepy, but he went over anyway. Willow asked the butler to take him to the Mistress of the mantion so that he may speak with her about the "merchandise" being sold here. Once they arrived at the Mistress's office, Willow thanked the butler then knocked on the door. The Mistress gave Willow permission to enter and he walked in. Willow sat down at the chair in front of her desk and asked if he could see some documents on the current "merchandise". This woman had a powerful, yet very respectable presence, so he made sure to be as polite as possible. Once she gave him access to the documents he scrolled threw them until he came upon one that intrested him. Willow looked up and asked. "Mistress, can I be taken to Serenity Stryker please? The Mistress smiled and called the guards. They escorted Willow to her room and opened the door letting him in. Willow walked in with a smile on his face. "Hello there! I am Willow."

Sanos made no visible reaction other than to shrug at her words about how his life was 'troubled.' He wasn't about to disagree or argue with her on that fact, after all, it was true, wasn't it? "Eh, you learn to adapt to things that are thrown your way." he replied in a matter-of-fact tone. In response to her 'orders' about how he would have to feed, he nodded. "You're right, they can't resist me," he grumbled, before adding on in an undertone, "Are you sure you would be able to?" Pausing, he contemplated the woman in front of him who ran this whole business. "Wait," he started, a smile creeping onto his face beneath the mask, his tone half-searching, half-fake-hurt, "Did you not know that until now? Some business woman you are! I guess it's a good thing you came to visit me, otherwise I might have died due to your oversight into finding out the needs of your merchandise." Satisfied with his insult, his voice once again took on the superior tone that seemed to natural to it. "Or would a death not have mattered much other than the lost profit it would mean? Because deep down, this place is just like any other slave shop, 'ain't it? even if the 'living conditions'" here he made air-quotes with his fingers, "may be better than other places."
When the shop owner asked him how he came to be cursed, he blinked at her in surprise, then grimaced, glad that the expression would be hidden beneath his mask. "It's really none of your business." he told her flatly. Sanos wanted to make as little known about himself as possible - and that included how he became cursed. Sure had she been some ditzy mistress that he was sure he would be able to control, he might have mentioned the succubus offhandedly, as though it was really something that didn't matter, but this woman? She was the last person he wanted to tell anything to. She obviously thought herself pretty smart, and the last thing he needed was to give her something to go off of. The moment she started looking into his past, she would probably find out about his sister, and that was the last thing he wanted. He had stopped hanging around home to protect his sister, and even though it had got him into this whole mess, he didn't regret the fact that it meant she was now somewhat safe. If she got involved in all this, then all of that meant nothing.
Sanos watched the shop owners change of expression and listened to the words she threw at him next. They certainly seemed to be spoken out of distaste. He chuckled and stood, moving over to the book-case. Without looking at her, he began to speak. "Whether I serve the position of slave or master makes no difference to me. You've already stated that you could leave me waiting until a weaker woman whom I could easily control came along. I've stated the conditions of how I live now. I don't particularly intend to bow down to anyone either. If someone were to 'buy' you like some sort of toy, wouldn't you want it to be someone you could control, or, putting yourself in my particular circumstances for a moment, at least easily feed off of?" He could understand why she wouldn't be happy that he expected her to be of use to him, she was the one currently in the higher state of power after all, but it was clearly logical.
As he moved back to sit on the end of the bed again, he heard her state that she would have a cure for him in a week and turned to stare at her. 'What?' he thought to himself in surprise. He hadn't been issuing her a challenge or anything, not really. When he had talked about a cure he had been talking about the mask he currently wore. If she wanted to go out and find him a cure though, he certainly wasn't going to turn around and tell her 'no' - he wasn't sure doing so would stop her anyways.
Besides, he actually wanted to see what she could possibly come up with in a week. Was it even possible?
As the owner of the shop took the final word and left before Sanos could steal it from her, he lay still in the bed for a while just in case she decided to come back in, although a smile quickly grew on his face; especially when she didn't return. So what if she would come back in a week? Sanos had won that battle hands down. Just the fact that this woman was willing to come back for more proved that she was interesting, and quite possibly actually a worthy opponent. It certainly meant that another battle was coming. This one he would have a whole week to prepare for though - not that he was going to do much to prepare, there wasn't exactly much he could do, trapped in this room as he was.
The next little while was boring - as expected, there wasn't much to do now was there, unless you really liked reading, which Sanos didn't, not that he found the available books interesting at all. He was surprised however when the guards started bringing him things. Like cigarettes. He knew that it would have to be on the store owner's orders - trying to buy him over by the looks of things. Didn't mean he couldn't appreciate it, especially the cigarettes. It felt good to inhale that smoke, no matter the number of toxins he knew were contained in it. Heck, it was worth it enough for him to actually consider the woman's offer, at least vaguely.
When the lady of the house came to visit him again, the demi-demon thought he was ready for whatever she might bring him, as he turned away from staring absentmindedly out the window at the knocking at the door. He watched her cross the room in silence and sit down by the window, wonder what she could possibly be playing at now. When she pulled a vial out of her pocket containing a sickly green substance though, he raised an eyebrow in question. What the heck was that supposed to be? It couldn't possibly be the cure of hers. As he listened to her speak however, he slowly shook his head. Apparently that exactly what it was. Was he seriously supposed to believe that this vile-looking thing would cure him? Even at least partially? He was silent until she stood up and handed it to him, asking if they had a deal. Frowning beneath his mask, he stared down at the thing before gingerly taking it from her. Turning it over in his hands he inspected it for a moment before looking back up at her. "Of all the people in the world, what makes you think that I would trust you?" he asked her slowly, "You make a living off of selling people. Living people who have lives of their own that you've taken them away from. How am I supposed to trust your motives or actions?"
Pausing, he turned away, pacing to the other side of the room slowly, deep in thought. Suddenly he stopped in the middle of the room and turned to face her. "Don't get me wrong, there's almost nothing I want more than to get rid of the curse, but this thing you've brought me looks more like poison. Don't tell me the thought didn't cross your mind either."
He stared down at the vial in his hand, wondering if that was exactly what it was, some sort of poisonous drug. And if it was a partial cure as she said, could this strange-looking goop really give him a measure of control over his curse that didn't require a mask? Could curses be manipulated like that?
He looked back up at the shop owner. "Am I just some sort of game to you?" he pondered, a sly tone to his voice, "because if I am then I'm not quite sure that you and I are all that different from each other."
He was almost certain that he couldn't trust this woman, but her offer to help him find a cure for his curse - despite the fact that she didn't have to because she could apparently resist it - was, without a doubt, very tempting. He had kind of grown accustomed to the mask, but he would be relieved to be rid of it if he could.
That wasn't the bigger problem here.
The bigger problem was the fact that if curing this curse meant finding the succubus who had cursed him than it also meant that this woman would find out about his family. And Sanos couldn't risk that in case she went after them.
"What would you do if I said no?"

Serenity Milana Stryker "Why is it that when I tell people I'm a Nogitsune, the first thing they think is Evil?"Oooooh how could I have gotten into this?!?" Serenity pushed against the door, trying to see how sturdy it was and if she could knock it over. Finding that that wouldn't work, the girl listened hard for any sound of footsteps approaching, thinking maybe she could bolt out if someone opened the door and try and escape that way. Flicking and jerking her tail behind her, the agitated girl began pacing in the room that man had thrown her in. It looked relatively comfy, the bed was nice and big and if it weren't for the situation she was in, Serenity would have jumped up on it and snuggled with a pillow or burrowed under the blankets. The window also looked out over a beautiful garden but it was spoiled by the fact she wasn't able to get out of the room. Peering over at the door, she growled, her ears flat on her head as she searched the hundredth time for a knob to turn. Not seeing one, she resumed her pacing, curling her tail around her and holding it in front of her face, trying to get some sense of comfort in this completely strange and new place. Serenity kept regretting that decision to take that money, she had gone too far with her pranks this time and payed dearly for it. The girl wondered if the others back at home had found out she was gone and were looking for her...probably not, with all those tricks she'd played on all of them. She now regretted all of those and even made a silent decision to stop all her pranking on them if she could just go home and go back to her old life, but that seemed very unlikely. She hoped that whoever took an interest in her weren't those abusive types like she always heard of. Just the thought of being whipped for doing something wrong made her cringe in fear. Or worse...locked up in a cage with just enough food to keep her alive. Just thinking of food made her stomach growl and Serenity realized she hadn't eaten anything for an entire day. Flicking her ears up suddenly, the girl listened hard. Baring her teeth, her canines sharp, Serenity crawled under the bed, hearing sudden footsteps outside her door. She waited, tense, thinking maybe if they opened the door and didn't see her they would look around and leave it open for her to escape. It was a fat chance but right now Serenity would grasp onto any thought of freedom with all her might. The door opened and she heard an unfamiliar voice. Willow? What kind of name is that? She thought, lifting an eyebrow and watching the feet that appeared in her room, making sure to keep well away from them and waiting until she had a clear shot for the door. Right now unfortunately, whoever had walked in was between her and her escape.I am not evil, I am merely mischievous, there's a big difference you know!"

Even in the deepest darkness one will always find light Willow looked around the room not seeing anyone his smile turned to a froun. "I could have sworn there was sopost to be some one in here." Willow turned to the guard who gave a nod assuring Willow there was someone in there. If there was someone in here Willow wanted to confront them alone. Since Willow wanted a companion he wanted to make sure he could handle being alone with the person."Close the door, I will yell if I need something. Until that time comes shut the door, and wait outside" The guard nodded and closed the door. Willow was now alone inside with the slave.
'Now where should I look first?' Willow asked himself He looked around a bit checking the bathroom and closet, Still no luck. Willow streched and turned his neck to the side cracking it a couple time, he did the same with the otherside. "You know I am not here to hurt you I only want to have a chance to talk." Willow said as he walked over and jumped on the bed he stood on it not wanting to take a chance she could be under it. Willow looked down over the edge of the bed he noticed something. It was strange, It was extremely fluffy and Orange. Willow had no idea what this fluffy thing was but he thought It was so cute. Willow jumped off the bed and landed near the fluffy thing. He reached out and gently stroked it. the stroking eventualy turned in to what would have been a soothing scratch. "This thing is so cool, It is almost seems like its alive. Willow paused for a moment realized he had been pretty stupid then gained what seemed to be a sly smile. Willow placed his hand on the fluffy thing, and prepped himself to jump back. Willow's fingers closed around the fluffy thing then with one quick motion he gave a yank. Not a hard one but enough to cause discomfort. right after pulling the fluffy thing Willow jumped back expecting something to shoot out from under the bed or something.

Bury all your secrets in my skin. Come away with innocence and leave me with my sins. The air around me still feels like a cage. And love is just a camouflage of what resembles rage again. So if you love me let me go and run away before I know. My heart is just too dark to care. I can't destroy what isn't there. Deliver me into my fate. If I'm alone I cannot hate. My smile was taken long ago. If I could change I hope I never know.

Her aquamarine orbs had slid from their place on the painted wall to the door, before her body had gotten out of the chair and walked her over to the bed. Laying upon the comforter and sheets, she stared at the door, but as it typically did, time seemed to blur. When Harliquinn finally gained realization of where she was and that she was as it always ended up. With her face masked in an almost faraway look and her heart growing as heavy as her limbs felt from something other than starvation of sins. Loneliness was something demon's shouldn't feel, and yet... Harli could swear that it was deep in the marrow of her bones. An almost disgusted noise rose from her throat, a guttural noise as she pushed herself up from the bed with arms that shook from hunger. And yet... Not even food could cure this growling at the pit of her stomach and the fatigue that rode her body. As she forced herself into a seated position, her breath grew fast from strain and she knew... It had been longer than a few hours that she'd been laying there. Perhaps all night and into the next day, which would explain the sudden onset of the symptoms of her starvation. With a great effort, the demon pushed her body onto it's feet and forced them into the bathroom where she showered at a snail's pace and then dried likewise. Oh, to be out in the world again where human's lusted and were greedy and darker creatures lurked around corners with violence and hatred riding their spines and driving their deeds. The steam cleared and Harli got a look at her perfect features in the mirror, but not even narcissism came to her mind as she turned away from the glass and headed out into the main room once more where she pushed her chair across the floor and over beside the door. Perhaps she could siphon from people here, beside the entry and exit of the room, but she doubted it. Until the maid came to tidy up her room, she was a sitting duck at the peak of duck season. As she made her perch in the chair and waited for someone with strong enough sins to pass by the door so that she could finally fill the void that had been gnawing at her for the past month or so, Harli tried once more to send out a 'net', so to speak, to latch onto emotions. However... The door blocked it, as it always had and she was almost too tired to even try, but insanity is a slippery slope and once you start, it's difficult to drag yourself from it's depths. ┏ ━ ━ ━ ━ ━ ━ ━ ━ ━ ━ ━ ━ ━ ━ ━ ━ ━ ━ ━ ━ ━ ━ ━ ━ ━ ━ ━ ━ ━ ━ ━ ━ ━ ━ ┓
So save your breath, I will not care. I think I've made it very clear. You couldn't hate enough to love, is that supposed to be enough? I only wish you weren't my friend, then I could hurt you in the end. I never claimed to be a saint. My hope was banished long ago. It took the death of hope to let you go. So break yourself against my stones and spit your pity in my soul. You never needed any help. You sold me out to save yourself. And I wont listen to your shame. You ran away you're all the same. Angels lie to keep control. My love was banished long ago. If you still care, don't ever let me know.
