Alonzo bowed and excused himself, only returning after a few minutes with two carts of food and drink coming up behind him. The suited individuals pushing the carts prepared their contents for serving, bowed, and then shuffled back to one side. Mio would round the corner in full armor not too long thereafter, evidently just returned from speaking with Magnus. Trish was, as of yet, nowhere to be seen.

Jeon smiled, as did Jay, as they realized that they likely had found an ally. There was a shared look between them, an understanding based on some twinly s**t that was impossible to read. They found him weird, because in truth they had barely even changed the framework of the arguement at all and he was on board now. Still, they continued. "Indeed. I quite like what I've seen of your people. Pretty mansion," Jeon commented. "Yes indeed. But before you can rule undisputed, the Shinjiro and UHV have to be dealt with. The pressure they put on those too small to fight back against them is oppressive, but they have yet to face a force making a concerted, centralized effort against them." When food was mentioned, they didn't even have a second to speak before ALonzo disappeared. In a few moments, food and drink alike ahd been brought out to the group. The twins looked at the servants for a not so scarce few seconds, looking for signs of malnutrition or rough treatment. Not many things could make them break from the character, but mistreating them was one thing they couldn't tolerate. Still, they bowed to them, and grabbed for whatever was closest. Hino and Oro less voraciously grabbed something as well.
"So, I have an idea where we could begin, when ever you are ready," Jay said before taking his first bite. Jeon swallowed her own, and picked up where he left off. "It would probably be smart to- Oh hello armor man!" she would offer waving to Mio. "Where was I? Ah yes, startpoint. We could probably take advantage of the disarray and bad look that the terrorist attack has cast over the Shinjiro. If we make a few aggressive acquisitions of the thuggish types, or ally ourselves with the other rogues in the village that are operating in opposition to the UHV, we have the money to bankroll them, as we said, and the means to arm them properly as well, at no cost to you."

Lucius looked upon the faces of his new guests as the food was served. He noticed a small held gaze towards the servants, they would find the servants didn't appear malnourished or abused in the slightest.The servants didn't have a forced smile or pleading eyes. They just seemed like normal people working at their job and were pretty satisfied with it. They poured glasses for everyone in attendance so that was five glasses, Lucius and the 4 guests. The servants then bowed and moved back alongside Alonzo for if they were needed again. Lucius took his glass and raised it to Jeon and Jay, if they were hesitant to hesitant to take part in the liquid that was poured for them. Lucius would be the first to drink. It would be simple juice drink, Lucius listened to Jeon as he held his drink in hand. He noticed Mio appear and his eyes drifted towards her, with a small movement of his head he asked her to over and stand beside Alonzo. Lucius continued to listen intently to the their advice." I completely agree, Shirley will amassing a small army for himself preparing for a follow up attack. We should take the initiative and start our on recruitment. Though will put the nail on the coffin for the current peace between our families, Shirley will no doubt think we attacked the factory and will focus his attention to us. But if we fail to gain strong forces before Shirley buys them we will surely lose. Alonzo will handle recruitment for smaller gangs in the area. I ask that you help by recruiting any rouges you see currently open to protection or fighting jobs." Lucius then moved on to his next question."On a different note, where will you four be staying. I assume you will be hanging around the village to ensure everything goes smoothly. and of course participate. I offer you shelter here if you would like."

Jay and Jeon held up the glasses, drinking without fear of poisons since most of them were ineffective on the two of them to begin with. They nodded as he spoke, realizing that the Shinshin boys likely didn't even know they were present, but they smiled nonetheless. The duo also recalled, when he asked about rogues, the man that the twins had tipped their drinks to in the bar. He seemed to have been open to working for money... perhaps that would be someone they could speak to. Either way, the duo would answer together. "We have a place,| they spoke in perfect unison. |"Worry not about our living arrangements. Although, you just did remind us of some other business we had here. " the duo would remove the writ for the cash as promised, along side the weapons, and turn on their heels to leave. Hino would speak their farewell for them. "We'll be in touch very soon."
They would exit the building, and get back past their checkpoint relatively quickly. "He's an odd man." Jay admitted quietly. Hino nodded. He tossed a glance to the sky as they made some distance, realizing that they were under an overcast. Good. "Im curious about something." he would say making a few deft seals. A rain would come over a massive area of the village, one that allowed him sensory information. He wondered if the Kurokasa had the same sort of muddling effect thatt hey did. While he did that, Jeon tapped her ear to open communication to the Shinshin learder.
"Atsuko, Osiris. Phase one is going well. I've been requested, by the Kurokasa leader to recruit a rogue group in the area, any I could find as it were. Ready to make your entrance?" She spoke soft even into the secure, hidden line that the communicator they had been given operated on.

Mio wouldn't respond to the twins' greeting aside from a curt nod and would stand next to Alonzo for the remainder of the conversation. As the twins headed out, another armored woman would be coming in, the woman named Trish. She, too, would nod at the twins, but afterward she would stand at attention in front of Lucius.
In the mansion:
"Sir!" Trish barked her greeting. "I have returned with the requested items. On the way back I was waylaid by a gentleman from the Post Office with a letter for you. Doesn't appear to be trapped in any way."
She handed over both a vendor's license and a thin envelope containing a skillfully written missive signed with Shirley's name. Mio would serve as the intermediary, checking both for any hidden toxins before passing them along. It read, in part:
"It would bring me no greater joy than to hear you received this in good health. Long though our families have been in conflict with one another, it would be remiss of me not to inform you of a potential attempt on your life. I was attacked in transit from the temple and one of my bodyguards was gravely injured. As two men running some of the most powerful financial organizations in the world, I believe it to be in our best interest to limit the potential dangers of these outsiders. If you are amenable, I'd like to propose a deal: in the event of damage caused by an outside party, we mitigate the financial impact each other faces. Consider it insurance."
The rest of the missive was a meandering block of political doublespeak that didn't really say much, if anything, significant.
Outside the mansion:
The patrols scouring the grounds would make way for the exiting parties, a few giving them the side-eye treatment when the hand seals were being made. There were a few groans as the rain started, followed by a horde of umbrellas opening up. There was no sensory fog present on the grounds, though there were patches of it across the city and the halo of haze was still present over the Shinjiro factory.

Lucius nodded as his new found allies began to make their exit. His eyes fell upon Trish who had returned from Takumi with the business license and a letter. Thanking Trish for checking the letter first he read through it. He was a bit surprised that this came through from the man in question himself. Shirley. it seems this was about the attack on him, So he managed to attack him and ruffle his feathers, would this be enough for Whise to get close? But not it seemed shirley was offering some kind of partnership. They would cover each other backs financially. While an interesting prospect he had just made an agreement to take care of shirley and his group. Though specifically they just wanted the UHV. They did mention they could convince shirley to join them. In the end they don't care about the shinjiro group, or the kurokasa. he would need to think about how to proceed. He noticed the sudden rain outside looked over at Trish and Mio."Stay inside until the rain stops."

Lucius pulled Alonzo to the side and spoke with him. As agreed, start speaking with the smaller gangs. Don't spin it as a war against shirley. But against the UHV, a goal of a free giman. I also want to know all of shirleys groups movements. Let's have men watching the factory, the casino, watch the gates too. Keep track of everything, I'll leave it up to your discretion what to report to me.

The two samurai snapped to attention and moved to one of the windows to get a better look at the rain. After being disappointed for a few moments that it didn't look more interesting, they took up posts by the doors.
"Sir," Alonzo answered, "I've already got some of our informants on standby. During your conversation we got word from someone posted about a day's travel outside the city that a contingent of armored troops was headed this way. No idea if they've heard about the bombing of the Shinjiro factory yet, but if they're UHV I doubt they'll be thrilled. Did you have anything else you wanted me to do before they get here?"

Jeon, continuing to walk toward the gate, would send another message to Atsuko. Have your people meet up with the head of the Kurokasa family. We have done our part. Let them know Olivia and Oliver sent you. We're on our way to old business. Good luck, Osiris over and out." With that, they would keep to the shadows on their way out the village, with the rain technique still up.

Was walking through the mansion, it had been a while since the rain had stopped. Noctis had been pacing in the mansion formulating, calculating. While he had been calm during the meeting with that group. A new piece has appeared on the board. Another moving part always made things difficult. He was planning on how to move now. Starting a war with Shirley would be time consuming and costly. But he needed to be able to takeover Shirleys business...but how would he do it. He then had an epiphany."Alonzo! Do you have anything to report? Movement at the gates? What is shirleys camp currently doing?" at that moment Vireo White came in and presented Noctis with a scroll containing 1 ton of weapons and coveted bloodline scrolls. Noctis was fairly impressed and praised her. If he is ever in need of someone in the future she and (insert other negotiators name here) will be the top of his list. Unfortunately it seemed the other two made no headway with their negotiations

Alonzo shuffled out of a nearby room looking quite thoroughly exhausted, like he'd been up for a few nights straight working on something. He slouched his way over to Lucius, straightened his tie, stood up straight, and reported:
"Sir," he spoke in a clear voice, "nothing from Shirley or his associates, but plenty on the streets. As of a few days ago there's been a huge influx of soldiers patrolling the city. It's been difficult to tell where they're coming from, since there haven't been that many coming through the city entrance, at least not in formation. I've been pressing several of our informants for information, but no one seems to know where they're coming from. Our best guess would be the factory if it weren't busy being repaired."

Noctis listened to Alonzo, things were looking pretty strange out there."Alright, Send a response to Shirley's letter. I wish to have a meeting with him. Can you arrange that?" After that Noctis looked out the window to the city."Also about our mysterious benefactors from the other day, any new news from them?" There was no contact from them at all after the first day. They just expected him to start a war like nothing?

"Right away, sir," Alonzo responded. "No news from our guests. Our informants haven't seen anything of note on that front either. Apparently the reconstruction of the factory is taking a lot longer than you'd expect for a job that size. We don't have anyone who can keep an eye on their finances, but it seems like the Shinjiro are either strapped for cash or pouring their funds elsewhere. I'll let you know if anything else comes up, but if there's nothing else, I'll hammer out that letter."
Assuming there's nothing else: About a day later there would come a response from Shirley. In it, the old man sounded eager enough to meet up and even offered a location: a private box in the Morrison Octagonal Arena. His terms were simple: they could both bring as many associates as they wanted, but only two could come inside the meeting with them. There was no time specified, something Alonzo said was a courtesy to put Lucius at ease if he suspected a trap.
