"As one of the few people on board this ship with a full size bed to sleep in, it still surprises me to find you nodded off in some random corner." Mizzen comments with a grin, her predatory nature making the grin appear fairly menacing whereas it was just the way she smiled.
"And no, just you moved before you trip somebody overboard." She added, casually rubbing the gentle swell of her belly.

"You woke me up to say that?!" he grumbled crossing his arms. "I gave my bed to the elf, I figure you pregnant ladies need the comfort more. I mean would you want to sleep on hard wood Miz?" he sighed shaking his head.
A gentle sea breeze danced around them a little. Why was she looking at him that way? Blushing shyly he turned his face away from her. One look into her eyes and the next moment you'd be in bed with her. Mizzen was famous for alluring men. Ratchet had watched many a man fall into her embrace while they were pirates together for their old captain. Heck, she had even tried to get him in bed with her! Ratchet could resist, but there were times when he was about to give in.
If he was being honest, seeing her really pregnant like this was a bit odd. Though it added a bit of motherly charm to the shark woman. He was just surprised how big she had gotten.
"It's been a while, man you've gotten big Miz.I remember when we first found out, and how you first looked when you were about a month in. That belly has to get in the way alot." he said looking at it.

Mizzen laughed.
"I've slept on a wood floor before, its not all that bad." She answered, leaning against the wall and sliding down to sit beside Ratchet.
Mizzen shrugged in indifference. "Its not any bigger than it was yesterday when you put this in," she said, flicking the earring that now hung from her belly button. "And not really, I've sorta grown accustomed to it."

Ratchet chuckles.
"Funny..I never thought you to be the motherly type." he lightly teased. "Then again, you surprise me everyday Miz. Out of all the treasure we've collected over the years, you're still the biggest mystery." he smiled at her.
Relaxing a bit he gazed up at the still starry sky. "So what do you think about all of this? Can we really trust that winged woman?" he said with a sigh. "You're the Captain, and my closest friend, so I will always stand by your side and decision. I just worry sometimes. You're a strong woman, with hell's luck but someday that luck will run out. I just don't want to lose you Miz. You mean a whole lot to me honestly, after all it was you who taught me to swim and so much more when we were stuck scrubbing the decks." he smiled remembering those times.
His heart raced a little, why did he always get so shy around Mizzen lately? Ratchet didn't know. "We should play cards or something sometime. I miss hanging out with you. I stay out of your way because you're busy now, but I do miss the times when we both would sneak off the ship and have a bit of adventure." Looking into her eyes for a moment he blushes then looks away shyly.
"Bah, I don't know what's coming over me tonight." he said shaking his head a little.

Merlia looked down. "I have no memory of where I came from so I don't know if I can go home. I don't know why I can't remember but I can't." She looked down when she said this. She did not know what else to tell Lahire.

Lahire sighed, this could be a problem for the duo. Not without direction, not without their home. "This is bad, but I'm sure you'll find your memories soon. At least you still know me." He faced her with a frown and clutched her arm like a security blanket. "You do remember me, don't you, Merlia?" Asked the summon, he would hope he was not forgotten. She meant everything to him and for her to forget her memories of him, that would break Lahire's nonexistent heart.

(We should come up with some really cool character to be the Nighthawks captain, I wanna make it like an undead or something monstrous like that so it gives reason to the captain never being around yet making it so a fight between the captain and Mizzen will be cool and dramatic.) "Har har har, very funny." Mizzen replied, following Ratchet's eyes up into the pre-dawn sky. Mizzen shrugs at first. "While I enjoy your praise, I'm not Captain. I still answer to one higher than myself on this ship. And no real choice now, we're already way out here with her and we didn't really have anything better planned."The moment of silence lapsed between the two as Mizzen drifted down memory lane, remembering the good times herself and Ratchet had had together when they were still grunts aboard the Nighthawk. Snapping out of it, Mizzen reached into her shirt and from some hidden location within, pulled out a thrashed but playable deck of cards and some knuckle bone dice. "Nothing that can't be cured with a couple hands of cards..." She said with a mischievous grin, setting the dice atop her belly as she began to shuffle the cards. (It would be so ironic if they started to play something like go fish...)

(Hmmm...what if she was a dolphin? Or some other sea creature? That would make sense having Miz be her first mate.) She was probably right, they really had no choice now. Watching her pull some cards out of her pocket and place dice upon her belly he laughed. " Well it's nice to know we have a portable table now whenever we play cards!" he lightly teased giving her belly a gentle pat. Once he was delt some cards they began to play one of their favorite card games. Using her belly as a table Ratchet stopped halfway when her belly began to jiggle about and knock the dice and the cards off of it. The life within her didn't like being used as a table. Rubbing her belly a little he tried to calm the little ones down before they started up their card game again. " Wow they're feisty. I would guess they're probably hungry Miz." he said feeling little clawed hands and tails bump and reach at his hands. Massaging her smooth belly he stopped to check out her piercing. " Hmm..looks like nothing is wrong here. I was worried that you would have a bruise or contact some sort of disease when I pierced you. It's a good thing they stopped us, I was in the middle of losing that hand." he laughed winking and sticking his tounge out to her playfully.

(Aren't dolphins and sharks like mortal enemies or something? But na, I think we should make the crew even more diverse and strange. Maybe a centaur just because it makes no sense at all. xd Or a minotaur. 3nodding ) "Far from the most stable table but a table none the less..." Mizzen said, smiling as Ratchet patted her belly. "They shouldn't be too hungry, I nabbed an apple from the galley on my way up." She added, collecting the cards and preparing for another hand. She was about to protest Ratchet's actions but who was she to turn down a belly massage. "I was sure to clean the earring before gettin' you to put it in my belly button, besides the infection usually happens when you remove the piercing before it has healed."

(Why not a cyclopse then? razz Wouldn't it be a little awkward having a heavily pregnant shark woman try and fight the captain for the title? lol xD) That was true why he was so worried about this sharkwoman he didn't know. The children seemed to like his massaging though as he felt them trying to attack his hands. " I think my massage is making things worse.." he said removing his hands watching as her belly bounced around a little. Ratchet blushed shyly and sat next to her. " So what kind of treasure do you think will be at this place?" he asked with curiosity. They would have to wait until her children settled down before playing cards again.

(A cyclops strikes me as too clumsy to be out and about on ships, but its another idea. Oooh rather than an undead, we could make her/him a vampire. That would give reason to the long periods of absence and nobody ever seeing him/her (with the exception of the night crew).) "Hopefully lots of coins and jewels or otherwise stuff that will be easy to load and quick to sell." Mizzen replied, casually leaning her head on Ratchet's shoulder as her hands mindlessly shuffled the cards for no reason.

(Vampires are undead xD and overused but whatever. ^^; She's going to be your character so you can make her whatever you want. razz ) He blushed a little feeling her head on his shoulder. Ratchet smiled though and looked up into the morning sky again. " Yeah, I hope so too. I hope it's nothing like a ruse or wild goose chase. I honestly don't want an episode of what happened two years ago." he sighed. " By the way...you're not still telling the boys that those are my babies in you? I've been getting alot of happy slaps on the back and congradulations from some of the crew." he then said giving her a sly look. Ratchet had remembered and found it a little silly. They hadn't had sex, or at least not that he could remember. There were times she would be around him when he was a little drunk, but Ratchet would always wake up in his bed the next day. He didn't mind the rumors but it was a little embarassing having people congradulate you on children that you may not have helped create.

(Vampires are a type of undead yes yes, but when I say undead I mean more like the Forsaken from Warcraft. She doesn't really have a role yet so I'll hold off on introducing her until we get through this first adventure Kurai_wolf has for us.) Mizzen smiled as Ratchet keyed her in on this detail. "No, I haven't but if you're gettin' complements like that they must know something you and I don't." Which was entirely possible considering how much the pirates drink when they go drinking. Drinking to pirates is like breathing, if you don't do it you're not one of them. "Besides if you and I were in bed together you'd have scars to prove it..." She added, grabbing the front of his shirt and looking down it for any evidence that might hint as such a union.

Arturia's eyes opened to the light of day as she opened her wings, her book close to her chest as she whispered something under her breath and put it away. As Aturia flew down to the deck of the ship, She heard something causing a giggle to escape the scholars lips as she looked out to the front of the ship while she walked forwards he talons clacking on the floor boards with each step she took. The next moment she would take compass out of her cleavage and look at it. "this isn't right...." she said looking up at the sun, the sea, and the compass again. "the waters here shouldn't be this quiet and calm around here, its too near the graves.... something is not right at all." She said getting a bit nervious before a lightbulb hit when the in the corner of her eyes she saw the oddest of motions, "MIZZEN tell everyone to get ready! we got a BIG problem coming and it has a LOT of teeth!!"

Kurai_wolf [OOC: I think that's everyone I saw active... welcome back siridia hehe, as for the captain why not something big like a half giant] (Sorta hard to hide a half-giant on a boat, plus like the cyclops idea it doesn't seem like the nimblest of races nor does it seem like a race that would be on a boat little lone be captain of one. I'm leaning towards a Male Minotaur or a Female Vampire cause both of those would make an epic fight for Mizzen. biggrin Or at least until a better idea comes along.) Swiftly handing the deck of cards off to Ratchet, Mizzen jumped to her feet as fast as her basketball sized belly would allow her and made her way towards the yelling scholar. "What's the problem woman? No need to cause a panic. Explain yourself..." Mizzen said, her hand resting atop the flintlock pistol in her belt.
