A wave of pure happiness washed over Dragon when he heard Lurtz, especially when Lurtz agreed about being happy only when the other was. He hesitantly lifted his hands to rest on the others back and hugged him back as he listened to what else the blue-haired man had to say. The best thing that entered his life? It was funny how he thought the exact same thing.
Once the hug was done, Dragon smiled up at Lurtz and nodded slowly at him. "Y-Yeah, that sounds good." he agreed and blushed when his stomach growled again. He glanced down and frowned when he saw his nails starting to sharpen themselves. It wouldn't be long until his hunger started hurting him.

He didn't bother with the motorcycle keys since there was a little supermarket not far from his apartment complex, part of the reason he'd opted for this general spot. Based on the boy's earlier words, the claws were the last step before he started hurting from hunger after all. He'd even kept moving down the stairs outside of his apartment door instead of waiting for the door to click completely behind them so as to be sure it closed completely.

The two arrived back at their home just as the sun was setting. Dragon was in a far better mood now that his hunger was appeased, and it would last him up to three more days until his hunger changed him. He used the hand not holding Lurtz's to open the door for him. "A-Are you sure you don't need help carrying the meat? It's all mine, after all." he said with furrowed eyebrows.

As soon as he was in the house, the sunglasses vanished altogether albeit his eyes shifted quickly between it's dark blue to it's original pale blue coloration. "It's alright, Dragon. I don't mind carrying it and putting it away," he responded aloud only to wince slightly as patches of skin on his arms and face became a charred black as little bits smoke rose up from those patches. It healed itself just as quickly though.
xxxxxGiving a soft click, he cracked his neck before glancing at Dragon again. "I hate frying in public, but my barriers don't exactly work this close to a reset period. Why don't you go on and change into something clean from the guest bedroom's dresser while I go put the food in the icebox and you bring the shirt back out so I can show you how to get blood out of clothes?" he suggested while flashing a gentle smile at the dark haired boy.

"Okay." Dragon nodded and headed to his room. He looked through the clothes he was given and decided to wear simple-looking jeans and an equally simple dark brown tee. When he finished redressing, he walked back to where Lurtz was, the bloody yet fancy clothing in his arms. As he made his way to the blue-haired male, his curiosity poked at his mind. Blood on the clothes. Did it affect Lurtz? He didn't seem to be bothered by it, and they walked very close together during the trip back. Maybe it was because it was pig's blood? "Hey Lurtz," he started, deciding to voice his questions. "Can you drink animal blood? L-Like a sheep's or a pig's?"

Once that was done, he washed his hands and started gathering up supplies that would be needed in getting blood out of the dark red fabric. Just as he suspected, the boy wasn't gone very long before he returned with curiosity written all in his aura. It was then that the Wendigo began asking questions.
xxxxx"Hm? Can I drink animal's blood? I could, even attempted to use it as a substitute in my early teens, but it does not satiate the bloodlust we vampires are cursed with. It partly makes me want to ask scientists to try explaining their theory of human evolution if human blood rids us of the fiery burn at the backs of our throats yet animals do not. Either way, like all other species, we have unspoken rules created for just our kind and that is why instinct has specific focuses," he answered honestly while gently brushing his fingers through Dragon's hair. He then flashed the younger male that sweet half-smile of his before tapping the counter with his index and middle finger. "Go on and set the shirt in the warm water on this side of the sink. The water will keep the fabric and blood soft so it'll be easier to separate the blood from the cloth. It's also easiest when it's still fresh blood on it."

Humans... What did that make Dragon? He looked like a human, but he was a Wendigo and a demon. Did that technically make him an animal? Well... His blood managed to calm Lurtz down whenever he was hungry, so he had to be on the human side. That was good, he was more like the people here, so they had to reason to be scared of him, right?
Rubbing the seal on his arm for a moment, Dragon decided to get the thoughts of his mind and put the shirt into the water. "L-Like this?" he asked as he kept a hold on the shirt to keep it from floating back up. He made a face at the few bubbles that came up from a shift in air. It was like drowning someone.

"Species like elves, demons, nephilim, sprites, faeries and apparently your own species of a Wendigo are far closer to the usual prey of humans than that of nekos, inus, werewolves and werecats. I've never had Wendigo blood before so I was a little worried at first, but I would've made it clear that no relief had come from your blood after the first time I bit you so as not to go through all of that again for no real reason. Your eyes speak so much even when you don't say it aloud," Lurtz hummed in a gentle rumble before pointing at the shirt with the toothbrush. "Alright. Now all you have to do is gently scrub the area of the blood in small circular motions with a little bit of salt and baking soda. The salt and baking soda will absorb the red of the blood into itself thus keeping it from staining the clothes. It is wisest to remove the blood from the fabric when it's still fresh as it hasn't completely settled in. It's as simple as brushing your teeth."

"A-Alright." Dragon nodded and did as he was told. He rubbed his thumb against the stain and sometimes switched to rubbing the cloth against itself. "Oh, umm... Do different creatures have different flavors of bloods?" he asked while glancing over at Lurtz. "H-How did my blood taste?" he asked with a shy blush. After a few minutes he could see the fruits of his hard work. The stain was lifting from the shirt, and a bright smile came over the young man's face. "Hey! I did it!" he said and pulled the shirt up to show Lurtz, excitement in his dirt brown eyes.

The fae have a different variety of plants and herbs depending on the type of elf and faerie they are. As for you, I'd say you tasted like an Ande's mint which tastes similar to mint chocolate chip ice cream or a mint chocolate chip milkshake," the vampire smiled gently as he watched the Wendigo working on removing the blood from the shirt. He was a smart boy, much like a certain young demon he knew, only with less sarcastic anger laced with guilt-ridden sadness involved. No. Lurtz could tell there was miles between the two boys' personalities and yet they were so similar in how sharp they were.
xxxxxAt the shirt being held up in his face, he snapped out of his thoughts and gave a slight nod at what the brown eyed male cheered. "You have indeed, Dragon. Remember this feeling of accomplishment as it is something you will be feeling quite often with the things I will teach you," he rumbled gently while reaching over to ruffle Dragon's hair ever so gently.

A mint chocolate chip milkshake... Wow, his blood sounded delicious. A small smile crept over Dragon's face as he thought about how much better his blood must have tasted to Lurtz than the other creatures. But he wouldn't let anyone else take his blood. He had to save up all he could for when Lurtz needed it again. Unless Lurtz's mother ever needed his blood, then he'd give her some, too.
Dragon smiled when his hair was ruffled, feeling as though he had done the impossible and had gotten praised for it. "I-Is there anything else you need cleaned while I'm at it?" he asked, running on the adrenaline rush of doing something right. That, and he wanted Lurtz to be proud of him.

My family of deranged lunatics tend to do more harm than good when they show up and I end up having to fix what damage they've done. The first thing I've ever done for myself of my own accord is what I've done for you 'cause I want to make you happy. Everything else has been dictated as a 'you will and will not do' to me," Lurtz answered honestly after a few seconds of deliberating what all needed to be done. If Dragon wished to help him with any of the things he had to get done, the vampire wasn't going to stop him. That was the Wendigo's choice after all. He wasn't going to be like his father and dictate what the other should and shouldn't do. It would be better if Dragon learned from his own mistakes and came to learn how the world truly was on his own.

"Oh, I'll help you repair then." Dragon smiled while drying his hands. How do you repair walls, anyway? He had seen them break plenty of times, but he never watched anyone really fix it. Maybe he could get Lurtz to show him. Oh, but that would make him more of a burden on him. No, he'll just watch Lurtz and try to copy!

Awesome nerd I lost interest in Pokemon after the Unknown and Entei entered the picture. They just started getting boring/stupid at that time in my opinion. Ash Ketchum and Brock would've been ancient by the time these new Pokemon came out of the woodworks and when they say 'Gonna catch 'em all, Pokemon!' you know you'll never catch 'em all 'cause there's always a new one just around the corner. >3< xXxXxLurtz “Vallyne” Allÿwar

That may lead to mechanic lessons as well seeing as you're now a proud owner of a motorcycle," the vampire responded as the corner of his lips twitched up into a light smile. He then moved over to the pantry and removed a toolbox from the very bottom of it with relative ease albeit probably weighed more than the both of them put together. This ended up in Lurtz motioning the boy to follow him and his feet padding gently across the floor until he vanished into his bedroom. Once he'd set the toolbox down beside the closet door, he started moving everything from the closet to the broken bed or beside it until the closet was clear minus the hole jutting up at an angle through the floorboards and into the wall. Beside the two separate holes was a spatter of something dark which made it apparent that the spot had been where Lurtz had been sleeping when his sister attacked him out of the blue.

Dragon's face abruptly turned serious. "I don't want it." he said, not wanting to even use anything his 'parents' gave him. "You know how to drive it pretty well, why don't you have it?" he insisted. Maybe he was just being stubborn, but he had severe trust issues with each father he had, and even though they said nice things and gave him gifts, they were just trying to impress his mom. Once they won her, he was just another mouth to feed for them. Now he wasn't even that, he wanted to stay as far away from them as possible, and that was possible now that Lurtz let him live with him. But that was also why he wanted to know about tools and simple things, so he could actually contribute instead of be babied.
