Where, indeed. That was a good question and as usual Olivia was unsure of a proper answer to give; she was always the one to be asked and she never knew why.
"There's a place where you race with lizards," Olivia finally mentioned, "would you like to go there?" If memory served her right, there was another game to play there as well, one she had never tried. Perhaps today could be the day.

"Oh. I've been there. I can show you where it is, but the game is not easy." Millie smiled. "It sure is fun though. The creatures are pretty cute. I hear if you can impress them, they come home with you." Millie headed off in the direction of the beebs booth.

Now, there was a booth Heidla has never been to before. She step inside, and by some weird chance spotted Eisheth. Not that the two horsemen were really fond of each other, but they were somehow acquainted, and in this world an acquaintance counted as a friend. Besides, their characters were somewhat similar - detached and stingy, and haughty in a specific horsemen way. But this booth demanded cooperation, so the priestess addressed the alchemist: "Shall we?"

BY THE POWER OF SCIENCE! Character's Names: [Heidla] & [Eisheth] Minis SNs: [Olwen] & [Santime] First Roll: [78] Second Roll: [26] Difference: [52] Prize: Nothing sad Eisheth already got used to the idea she's going to spend the rest of the evening in the company of the priestess. She shrugged, looking at the machine: somehow the horseman still had a prejudice against contemporary Halloween technologies. It was understandable, she hoped: she spent the biggest part of her life in a place with no eye-phones in interweb. But it really amazed her, how Heidla, who supposedly spent her time at Death island studying ancient manuscripts and participating in trance rituals, adapted to the Halloween realm so quickly. Still hesitating, she stepped under the "Dynamic Duo Device". A little click, and Eisheth were able to see the result: pretty pathetic, exactly as she anticipated. " I don't believe in machines", she commented. " I mean, they can be quite useful as the weapon, they could bring comfort into your life, but don't trust them as you could trust living beings", she sighed. "It's strange for to tell that to you, the priestess, since you should be the one who knows it better than me. How could this machine, even if infused with Fear, know anything about such complicated thing as the relationship between certain beings? Even we don't always know what we think and feel fore sure, and the machine could just give you a random result, that might influence your way of thinking, if you take it seriously. No, I don't want to waste my mind on such nuisance".

Sin tugged her reluctant boilfriend along with her trying to insist that they were going to have a good time. She smiled up at him and pleaded for him to give out Moira's odd contraption a try because what was the worst it could do?
"Actually nevermind I said that..." She murmured softly and leaned up to kiss his cheek instead as she tugged him closer under the machine with her.

Rosc didn't want to do this. As she tugged him along, his sunglasses slipped a bit and his free hand shot up to right them. "Sin, I- We don't- This isn't-" But he couldn't really get a word in edgewise. What was the worst it could do, yeah right. His luck, it would show them as being the most incompatible pair in history and he'd have to spend months trying to convince her that he damn well loved her and that there wasn't a single entity in all of Halloween and beyond that was going to change his stubborn mind. But how could he say no to her? Damnit. He'd break the stupid thing if it upset his swan. ... The outcome was pretty much exactly as he'd expected. Rosc let out an aggravated sigh. "Bet you half my savings it just spits out random readings," he said, turning his focus on his ghoulfriend, the glow behind his glasses flickering slightly in what was becoming slightly recognizable as his version of an eye-roll. Relationship advice? That was what science had to tell her? She glowered at the machine and tugged Rosc away from it with a huff.
"Obviously it's just defective." She looked up at him and smiled slightly at the flicker. At first she had worried when his 'eyes' did that, but she was slowly coming to recognize the signs of expression while he was wearing the dark glasses. It was better than the blindfold, but not as nice as just being able to see his face without any cover.
"Come on…there are more booths we can check out." She smirked and slipped her arm through his to tug him along. She knew he disliked the crowds so she was bound to let him go in a bit, but she enjoyed having him near for a little while, it was Scarentines after all.

Andrew walked over to the machine. Olivia had asked him if he wanted to try it again. he could only assume she wanted better results. Well, so did he. But he was pretty sure the thing was rigged. He waited near the machine until he saw her and then waved her over.
"You know, we should trade numbers or something." he smiled at her as he got on the contraption.

Getting over her ideas about the machine had finally come to pass, though it didn't stop Olivia from wanting better scores with her friends. Andrew had been easy enough, oddly, to track down to make her awkward and shy request and now all she had to do was find Molan again to see if he would be interested in it. It was all for fun, right?
She was all smiles, though a little sheepish, when she saw Andrew already at the machine. Thankfully, taking the initiative so they wouldn't have to walk that comfortable (for her) distance that he probably found awkward. It would take some time for her to get used to the idea of traveling close to a flame demon after all. It was getting better though, right?
"Thank you," she told him first on her approach. Maybe things would work better this time.
"Oh..." she then blinked in surprise. Yes, phone numbers. She had gotten a new phone and only had so few numbers in it. "Yes." Was Olivia's simple reply as she stepped into the machine and let it do its work.

"We can talk or text on the phone and then you don't have to worry about my flames." he smiled at her and then watched the numbers roll by. Very close to the last time. He scowled at it and hit the machine hand burning in anger. A little mood bubble popped above his head. stressed "Stupid thing!" why was it so close to the other time? It was clearly rigged. He glanced at Olivia suddenly realizing what he had done and let the fire in his hand go. "aaaaahhhh sorry." his fire dropped down to meek, but the damage was already done.

They were very similar, at least the second set that Millie and her had were decently enough to be totally different. But Olivia had told herself to get the steel resolve to not be bothered by them. Relationships were one thing, maybe it simply looked at them being an Undead and a Flame Demon and couldn't comprehend how they could be on an awkward track of friendship.
Which dove right back into the awkward shock when Andre let loose his flames. While in the machine, Olivia had made a preventive mode to reduce her fumbling and searched her pockets for her phone. It was now on the ground, having fallen with a nice thunk a few feet in front of Olivia who had retreated rather quickly backwards with eyes really wide. Flight took over finally, wider spaces and all, and it threatened to completely. At least her brain wasn't shutting down completely yet.
"Aaaa...." Was all she could say, her hands clutching her blouse very tightly. She didn't even get to comment on his amusing little bubbles or that well, it probably wasn't very good to hit the machine. Nope.

"I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry." he mumbled and backed out of the machine. giving her as much space as possible. Jack Damn it, why did he always manage to screw up? He had her calm and comfortable even. And now that was gone. His tail burned and he grabbed it forcing the flames back down. it didn't stop the bubble from appearing above his head though. redface he stared at his tail and tried to will the flame away, or at least down to a reasonable level again. "I suppose you don't want to now." Stupid machine.

Olivia would hear his apology, but it just wouldn't register. It wasn't sticking with her, but she knew he meant each and every single one he told her. But so much instinct and natural undead fears were just kicking in so much. If Olivia were able to hyperventilate or cry, she probably would be doing so right about now. But she just kind of pulled in on herself and kept backing away. It also didn't help he was holding his tail now, letting the flame be in full view now.
With one last little cry, Olivia turned around quickly and sped off. Leaving him and her phone behind.

She ran. He stared after her, and his flame burned a little lower. crying Andrew's shoulders shook and there wasn't much he could do to fight it. No tears came to match the emote over his head, but anyone passing by would be able to tell from the look on his face. Andrew walked over and retrieved her phone, setting it down next to him as her curled up in a ball for a few minutes. He tried to put himself in a corner, but being on fire made him just a little noticeable and that emote continued to float over his head. crying

After her last... awkward moment here, she wasn't quite sure why she returned, but when she looked around and saw that Molan wasn't here, she let out a relieved sigh.
Honestly, she was being childish, avoiding him. What would that really accomplish? And it wasn't like it meant anything... So what if Molan liked boils instead? Why should it affect her?
Taking a deep breath, she went deeper in the booth, looking around, and spotted... Was that? A smirk appeared on her face, and she took a step closer towards the flame demon curled up in the corner, prodding at his little emote bubble.
"Aww, what's the matter? Did the widdle demon find out he wasn't compatible with someone?"phatompanther13 Forever creeping on you. f(o u o)f
