Sammy smiled at Ferro's nodding slowly, "Yep. Bet on a few too." She raised her glass to his own letting them ring softly among the noise of the 'party' though it was far from one considering the reason it was being held.
Tipping her glass back she finished the shot feeling a strong warmth flowing through her usually cool form, the feeling was exciting, it was like truly being alive.
"So," she said as she placed her empty glass down, "When did you start working with Jordan? I've met with him once in a while, but I hadn't known he picked you up as a bodyguard."

She'd leapt and everything had crumbled around her. Concetta's bare feet hit the sidewalk right in the place the other's had, just as the door swung and enough so she could see in. The dark haired woman hissed and fell to one knee, her ankle marked with a thick welt where she'd tripped on her escape.
Cee caught her breath before standing to a hobbling upright. She tested the ankle to find it, thankfully, was merely a surface bruise and nothing too damaging. With a quick glance around she was glad to see she was exactly where she'd planned to be.
Concetta was tanned, with long straight hair and near black eyes. She was busty on top, shoulders bared in a peasant top, and wide hipped. She swung said hips experimentally, her skirts smoothing out and baubles jingling. Gold earrings, bracelets and a few belts danced. Ah. Yes. Perfect. Besides the slight limp, she was perfectly acceptable.
And yes... primping was necessary.

"Make that three lambs," Roar grumbled, looking put off as Candace reprimanded him. "Just doin' m'job, toots." He huffed but did let the poor young man go.
At least the new Silver lady was rather easy on the eyes. He approved, his glower twisting into a smirk as he turned his green eyes on her. "What about you. Lookin' for a doctor too? They don't come for FREE y'know, this 'aint the kingdom of free health care."

"Hope you bet on my side," Ferros chuckled. He tipped the shot back and set the glass down on the bar, picking his water up again; he was still on duty, but it would be rude to refuse the toast.
"A few years back," he answered. "He observed several of my matches, then offered me a contract. It's solid, secure work, and I'm grateful to him. The Watch is my family now."

"Are you a doctor?" Cee didn't need to put on a hip swish when she approached, even with her bruised ankle. It seemed that whatever pose she stood in pushed out all her assets with confidence. It was either natural or so practiced that it was now second nature. She approached Roar with a wobble and a playful purse of the lips. "Nothin comes free but every price is ahh.." She tapped him on the broad chest, oh my he was solid, with a fingernail. "..negotiable."
Another step, unclear whether it was accidental or not, sent her tumbling into the bodyguard with a high pitched, "Oooooh!"

The next moment a young woman poked her head through the doors. She looked like a better, more reasonable target. Candace she said her name was. He took a note and smiled at her letting down his guard a bit. He was about to answer when the much bigger one, Roar suddenly grabbed him. “LET GO!” his poker face was ruined the moment he started getting manhandled. Not that he wasn’t plenty intimidated enough by the much larger man cracking his knuckles in the friendliest of manners or the words “rough him up”, but intimidation was thrown out the window when his shirt was grabbed from the back painfully twisting up his wings and he was suddenly yanked forward. Forget impressions, he hadn’t survived his entire kingdom suddenly turning on its head up only to be roughed up and possibly killed by a man twice his size upon arrival. He twisted in his shirt trying to pull himself away, unable to just slip out as it painful caught on his wings. Limbs started flailing everywhere before he was unceremoniously dropped again. He crumpled dazed before realizing the woman had told Roar to drop him. He stayed where he was for the moment not wanting to catch more unwanted attention again.

"Yeah. Except one time. I lost a good bit of money on that mistake." She chuckled, "Lessons learned though, never bet against you after that." She didn't take another drink instead waving for her own water. The wine had been so little, but the shot had quickly added onto that.
"Well then I guess that makes us cousins in a way now yeah? Jordan I both worked for the Watch and now you're a part of it through Jordan. Shame though.... no one worth really betting on during the fights anymore."

Olivia wasn't sure if it was the head wound, or just her general lack of preparation for moving onto other Kingdoms with such short notice (and one she never guessed she would see). She just felt like a deer caught in headlights, staring at the large intimidating man as her companion with wings made up the tale of their situation; it was far better than anything she would have come up with - he was probably a much better salesperson than she was also.
She watched in unsure silence (stupid stupid silence) as another woman seemed to come to their rescue, offering kinder greeting and a doctor to boot. Olivia almost smiled, but she couldn't yet bring herself to do it. Not with what was going on in her head, things she couldn't really speak about. It was probably for the best to play the victim, at least she could look perpetually sad until she was tended to. "We're ... not sure," was what she managed to get out until they were joined by another citizen of their once fair kingdom of Silver and the conversation shifted five more times.
Olivia fell back into her silence, watching with a wide eye as Roar picked her first companion up and dropped him in the span that it took her to actually push herself up. She was obviously not going to get anything in edge wise, so she kept her mouth shut for now.

Ferros nodded. "Family is family," he said gravely. He paused briefly, his attention caught by someone approaching Jordan, but the man left after a moment, and Ferros relaxed again, returning his gaze to Sammy. "Can I ask what you do for the organization, ma'am? Or do you prefer not to say?"

The next two were called up together, on account of their relation to each other, but they'd each volunteered of their own accord. Unlike a few of the other pairs, they weren't getting roped in by proxy. B0nez pulled up their files. "Jing and Ying. Casino workers, huh? You're right at home. And accrued a fair amount of debt, hmm, but good taste. Myself, I like the Kawasaki-" "B0nez," Harrison warned, before he started yammering about wheels and tech. " As you've already figured out, this puts you in the clear. Debt-wise. Ah, and let's see. Spying, you said," he nodded to the brother, "and numbers. You'll get more than one favor if we all make it out of this. Of course, cunning is always welcome in the Watch. And sticking together, you'll have a good chance... Heheh, although you might have to deal with more than cards. How good are you with ballistics?" Jing: (Pawn) Left-facing Fox Ying: (Pawn) Right-facing Fox"Samantha ---. Oh yes, we've used you before- hmm. Very good. The battles ahead will require viciousness, which you have in ample supply. Although you've been...discreet in the past, we're at the turnover. A lot of cards are on the table. Just try to keep clear of TKing- um, friendly fire. Unless, you know. We ask you to." Sammy: (Pawn) Wolverine"Sepheran. In spite of...circumstances, you've always been a very far-sighted individual, which we like to encourage. Watchfulness is our- theme you might say, and we'll need your insight in the battles ahead. In addition to your ahem," B0nez looks very distinctly at the snake coiled around Sepheran's neck, "fangs." He paused. "....We're also giving you a tattoo with a snake on it." Sepheran: (Pawn) SnakeSyrie You haven't gotten a post yet BUT THAT IS OKAY, you get a tattoo and animal anyway! Just join whenever you get the chance. You're cleared to participate once the tournaments start. Ahm: (Pawn) CrocodileOOC Each member of the Kingdom will receive a regenerating pill-bottle (see: Power) and a blue tattoo. Pawn tattoos are located on their right wrist. The tattoo is an EYE, the symbol of the kingdom, with an animal wrapped around it. Every animal is unique and chosen to represent the character. Upon receiving the tattoo, you feel energized, powerful. Harrison and B0nez have given you some of their personal strength, at a cost. Everyone will receive a post! I am posting them in batches.

Gargantuan could only beam at the Senator, lifting his glass as though to toast her and her words. Before he could, however, the summons went out, and the big man nearly bashed his knees on the underside of the table as he hastily stood. Not about to leave the boss hanging, no sir. B0nez either. The man was second-in-command after all, and Gargantuan owed him the same sort of respect.
"Sir," He said, clumsily doffing his hat in respect. Dark eyes darted over the contents of the suitcase, curious more than anything. For all his time with the Watch, Gargantuan had always kept his nose pretty clean. Didn't trust himself on drugs. He might hurt someone without meaning to, and so he'd always just stuck to liquor if he'd needed an escape.
"Thank you." He mumbled, gingerly accepting the bottle and shoving it inside one tattered pocket. Best to keep these safe and sound--if one of the family got injured, he'd be certain to pass these pills along. Wasn't even thinking about himself, but that was just how he rolled.
The chair creaked a little under his weight, earning an uncertain shift from G, but thankfully, it held. Nothing would be more embarrassing. The big man was compliant as his hand was taken, his lips compressing a bit thinly at the mention of pain. Still, without hesitation, he offered a slow nod. Bit of pain never slowed him down none.
He handed the bottle over, then gestured for the volunteer to sit. A folding chair had been positioned opposite of the Boss's chair.
As B0nez spoke, Gargantuan listened carefully. It was better to keep his eyes fixed on the man's face instead of the tip of that... gun or whatever it was. Didn't know nothin' about carp, not really, but the second in command seemed to know that and carried on regardless.
Strength. Bravery. Unflinching in the face of danger. Each attribute was enough to make Gargantuan sit a bit straighter, his chin lifting as though mirroring his swelling pride. He was being chosen to use his strength to protect the family, and there was no greater honor in his mind.
"I don't know much about transformin' into no dragon, sir, but I won't let you down." He said seriously, only gritting his teeth a little as the lasers danced over his skin and left and emblazoned emblem of the Watch's eye and some fancy lookin' fish. Carp, right? Yeah, had to be a carp.
"I'll drag everyone with me through the water if I gotta. No one's sinkin' on my watch." He could only stare at his new tattoo for a moment before he rose suddenly, his head tipping deeply in a grateful bow.
"Thank you, sir. Means everythin' to me." As he quickly stepped back to let the doctor take his place, Gargantuan felt like he was walking on air. Him! Chosen to help the family. There was no disguising the goofy smile on his face, and he stood proudly near the bar, all but beaming to himself.
Of course, it was only then that he realized there was commotion going on, and he blinked with surprise even as he fixed his eyes on the intruders. It seemed the others had it under control, but he'd still keep an eye on things, just in case he was needed.

More people were called up. None of them were him. It was easy to get paranoid. He'd never been punished for flirting around before, he couldn't imagine why it would start now. He rested his chin on Massacre's head with a dramatic sigh. His life was so hard.
Tracey meanwhile was watching the intruders with curiosity, they didn't look like they were from around here, Harrison had mentioned huge things were about to happen - had it started already?

"Jerry Collins and Roger Haol," B0nez said. "You've been in our service a while. And Roar, who's this with you..."
B0nez eyed what was left of the Silver Kingdom, "Hope you didn't get roughed up here. We know how to treat our Associates, war or no war. Sorry the red carpet didn't get rolled out, but as you can see, we're all a little, heh, preoccupied. "
Harrison took the wheel, "We'll get you cleaned up. Casino's closed to tourists, for a while. But you can watch. Might even be some business opportunities in it for you. ...Get one of the Doctors up here for them, will you?"
He turned back to Jerry and Roar, "Have a seat." He tossed them each a pill bottle.
B0nez grinned. "Well. Where to start. Maybe not, eh, a couple of guys with a mind for overarching strategy work. We've kept each other busy. Caution isn't your word of the day, but that's not what we pay you for. And you've kept the place very..." B0nez's glasses glinted, "clean."
Instead of his wrist, Harrison pushed up Jerry's sleeve, clearing a large space on his bicep.
"We're all pack animals here. And who knows how things'll end up, but with you on the roster, it'll be with a bang. By the way, we're promoting you to Lieutenant." B0nez appraised the hawaiin shirt and Roar's dirty undershirt, "You can keep the janitor jumper if you want, and the athletic gear, but it's got an immediate pay bonus, and Jordan won't mind helping you two pick out some gear with a little more +CHA."
"New suits," Harrison translated. He looked at the Silver members, "Loyalty here's well-rewarded."
Centered above the eye and the snarling wolf was a sword.

It seemed like the Boss was talkin' to Jerry, Roar, and the new guys. Things were bein' handled, then. With a guy as big as Roar around, well, G was pretty content knowing that the newcomers weren't going to try anything stupid. They'd have to be pretty dumb to even think they'd succeed, anyway...
Speaking of bein' pretty dumb, Gargantuan couldn't help but notice Rep sighing melodramatically, not-quite cuddling his tiger. Maybe he was feelin' a little down about not being called up yet, but there wasn't any reason to fear.
Not even hesitating, the big man would step closer to the redhead, reaching out to pat his shoulder twice. "Bet the boss has good stuff planned for you. You're a real strong guy."

One minute Rep was being dramatic, sprawled at the bar, musing at his tiger. The next, someone was patting his shoulder, it wasn't Jordan, who was at the bar and it wasn't Tracey who was also, so as far as he was concerned - it was some cocky b*****d thinking he needed their sympathy. His reaction time was fast, very fast indeed, and G would rapidly find a set of razor sharp shadowy claws held at his throat while with the other hand the smaller man seized hold of his shirt.
"And what the ********> gives you the right to decide that?" he snarled, low and dangerous. Behind him the tiger stopped lounging and tensed defensively. "I didn't ask for your ******** pity"
